Massimo Dutti is part of the Inditex group (Spanish owned brands like Bershka and Zara). So Massimo Dutti is basically the pricey better quality older cousin of Zara.
Comptoir des Cotonniers (would translate as Cotton Workers’ Counter/Booth) specializes in natural fibres. Lot of basics, but I find there are always a few extraordinary maximalist pieces every season. One of my favourite jackets is from there. The denim piece is particularly lovely - somewhat unstructured without being shapeless and the embroidery/quilting is great.
Fantastic haul!!! I agree with all of what you selected - they really suit you. My favourite is the red coat and in terms of detail, the sharp dip at the back of the cotton poplin shirt does it for me. Glad you enjoyed Paris!
Thank you so much :) The red jacket was really a very lucky find. The shirt actually has a regular shape but after tucking it in, it does look like it has a dip in one of the clips.
Hello, the name of the french brand is Sœur which means sister. You did not write it correcly. Thanks for your videos and your inspiration. Best wishes from France! Katja
Dear Helen, I’m happy you enjoyed your Europe trip. You could try Strasbourg a next time 🙂. I don’t know Sœur, but Sessun and Comptoir des cotonniers yes! You describe them pretty good 👍 I love your ‘seconde main ‘ buying, specially the Chloe leather vest. Thank you for this video, merci et bonne soirée
Welcome back home from your holidays! Missed your videos 🎥 Did your mom take those pics of you on holiday? Because wow 👌 really great shots! 📸 Oooo curated preloaded items 🤩 I also prefer a wider shoe, I don’t like to have to squeeze my feet into shoes 👞 so those Cos loafers look like a great comfort purchase
The small Longchamps bag that you bought, there is also personalized. If you want to they embroider your name on the fabric or they emboss it on the leather flap. With three different types of lettering actually. Very good service in Longchaps.
I love the pieces you purchased. I own several styles of Longchamp bags from a neo extra small to expandible travel bag, knapsack, cosmetic bag, etc. I find that due to its weight, versatility, looks etc. I find it hard to go back to regular purses. Your Bottega Veneta purse though is lovely. 🌎🇨🇦
Hi :) Very nice video ! Thanks a lot ! I just wanted to tell you, you wrote "Soeur" wrong both on your video and in the description.. You wrote "Souer" which kinda makes more sense actually but since French doesn't make any sense, it's "Soeur".. 😅 Btw for the non French speakers, it means "Sister" in French !
The Comptoir des Cotonniers jacket is actualy also soled bij Uniqlo, in Europ anyway. I got it there and I love it a lot as it is a great cross between a jacket and a vest and it is so soft!!
You really found some great gems while you were here ! I've been really obsessed with vests as well but I'm always warm on my body and cold on my arms so I'm not sure how much wear I'd get out of one...
Regarding the hard-to-find trousers you mentioned, I know what you mean. There's a very laid-back, almost vintage men's wear feel to it, and I really love it. I got several pairs from a Japanese brand called Moussy. It's almost the brand's signature silhouette. Moussy is inexpensive, and the quality is roughly on par with Massimo Dutti/COS, but they really get the vibe right----not only the right silhouette, but also the right texture.
Lovely accessories 😍. I’m looking forward to my next euro trip and shopping Paris. Last time I decided against a second hand jacket and still regret because I’ve not found any similar ones sigh.
love all of the pieces! I'm looking for pants like the blue one you showed but I don't have any access to Sessun or Sezane :( Would you happen to have any pants recommendations from mango, zara or hm?
The white ones I wear all the time are from & Other Stories (can't find online but I actually saw the black in store). I imagine H&M will do very similar options to the white as well :)
Hey! Lumiere your contents are just wonderful and I really love your vlogs so so much you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 70K Subscribers very very soon!✨☺️💞
That jean fabric quilted jacket is a direct ripoff or copy of traditional Shashiko, a very old traditional Japanese craft..I have always loved it and done some of it myself. Indigo has been used for many centuries in Japan esp to dye farm workers clothing...just like later in AMERICA....everything old is new again eventually,in the right hands.
