You perfectly described how I feel about Verity. I was so confused on whether I liked it or not because it was gripping and I couldn’t put it down. But it frustrated the heck out of me. It was like that “car crash” expression where you don’t want to look but you can’t help but look. I needed to finish it but it was awful!
