I would definitely recommend trying tracking everything you spend yourself! It's so interesting to see where all the money goes & work out which areas you can cut back

I'm also a student (in Leeds) and found this sooooo interesting!! It's actually crazy how much drinks and nights out add up, I'd love to do a video like this myself but just don't want to face reality if I'm honest 😭😭 xx

This isn’t a great representation of how much money you can spend a week at uni- I’m a student and can only spend £20 a week max so that I don’t run out of money some people have to spend less.

Charlotte Simmons it really depends on the person. i know someone who only spends 20£ and i know someone who somehow spends 300£ a week

I don’t think she meant it to be a representation of students but I thought it was accurate, for me anyway. It does all add up, and she did include her grocery budget. She was just showing what she spends. I don’t see how you can live comfortably with £20 a week if you’re including groceries and travel?
