Exactly, there are so many ways he can spend less. For example, stop going to that expensive coffee shop and make his own damn gourmet coffee from a keurig machine! 🙄 Why is he spending so much on food?!! Imagine if he had children?!! He is living a luxury life, sushi is not a meal necessity smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ I wonder if he has a retirement pension plan or invests in the stock mart? Just wasteful mindless spending, especially since he works from home. Half those simple meals like quesadillas he can make at home ! He can save thousands of dollars & eventually have enough of a down payment for a condo in Queens or Long Island, NY instead of spending so much money to live in the city. Just crazy ! By the way I am 60 years old born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Long Island ny the past 27 years. So I know for a fact he can spend a lot less if he budgets his money better and makes some of his meals at home! The rents all over New York including in the suburbs is ridiculous, but he can use his funds more efficiently by saving & buying a condo, especially since he has a remote job! Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m just coming to the end of my cs degree in the UK and finishing the top of my course. If I could do one thing different, I’d apply for a summer internship for the summer between year 1 and 2. The FAANG internships open around 12 months before you’d be due to start, i.e. if you wanted to apply for one for summer 2024, you’d have to apply this summer. Other than that, master your main procedural programming and object oriented programming modules in first year and that will set you up well. Bonus: if you have a placement year, apply for a company you’d like to work at as a graduate because they’ll probably give you a grad offer. You got this mate 👊

I bought two cookies, tea, and coffee for $24** I also never buy coffee because I enjoy making it at home but this was a unique circumstance because my mom was visiting. 🙂
