I am one of those rarely-posting-viewers of content but I wanted to say I do love your channel. As a Latinx girl who finds it hard to find folks who have content that share similar aesthetic and body type and skin tone. So thank you for creating this space. I also want to say congratulations on owning who you are - I can't believe I am old enough to be double your age but just know that finding your way earlier on is a beautiful gift. You have such wonderful style and self-awareness that I never would have had two decades ago. So, thank you for the content and congrats on finding your rhythm of self. I always look forward to your videos, Sam! I can tell how much hard work goes into making them. I also learn so much from you about being confident in your personal style! I totally understand what you mean about the fashion in Canada, how it's very comfortable. I think it's casual, but also the accessibility to the options that are out there are definitely limited. But I am slowly seeing an improvement. So I appreciate you sharing your finds. I also look at it as, life is too short to not wear what you love and what makes you feel at your best. Totally understand the sort of rut you were going through too! I had just turned 30 years old in 2022, and I definitely felt lost; didn't know what I had accomplished, or feeling like I hadn't accomplished enough. What helped me was to understand how much I have, rather than looking at what I don't. It could always be a lot worse, and just manifesting that abundance mentality. :)

Sam, I’ve been watching you for over a year now and I also have a daughter your age. I don’t think you should censor your content to appease a few who don’t get your esthetic. I love luxury brands and even though right now I’m paying for a son in law school and a daughter in college and I just finished my own masters degree in History, I love to see what you buy and a lot of times I can replicate the outfit with really good dupes. Except those black Valentino Rock studs, I’m saving for those. I’ve been collecting amazing luxury brands since I was your age and I still wear many of them in my 50’s so even though an item may be very expensive, if you are still wearing it 30 years later and it never goes out of style (example, a Chanel Suit) then it really is a practical piece and you are wearing a piece of iconography that makes you feel wonderful each time you wear it. Keep up the good work and stay true to your classy, effortless style. You remind me of Jackie O’ who was my style inspiration. ❤️

I randomly got this black wrap maxi dress from h&m a couple of years ago, and it is one of my most complimented dresses, if not the most complimented (and I wear so many dresses!). I sized down in that one. Also, the “It’s so soft” is so 😂

I usually just steam ANY shirt to have that open top look (which i prefer too). Just button midway down, fold the top parts outward (like how you’d wear it) and steam the outer sides pressed down, and they’ll stay that way worn all day. 😅

What happens when you are sent the wrong size in PR items? Are you stuck with that size, or can you exchange sizes or for a different item if you didn't like what u received? Super curious 😂 thanks for sharing, you have great taste in clothes. I love getting ideas from your style. Reformation has so many good pieces, you want it all but they are pricey. Does the white long skirt have a any stretch?...Never be ashame of your accomplishments, you work hard for what you have. I don’t entirely agree. It really depends what career/industry you work in, where you live, who you spend time with, etc. you could probably say the same thing about the US but again, it really varies by region. Sam is definitely one of the few fashion influencers in Canada, so it makes sense she might feel a bit alone in the fashion world. Her style is definitely super elevated! 👌🏾
