For anyone looking for a "soupier" ramen texture, esp if you've added milk, I'd recommend bringing the liquid to a boil before adding the noodles!! But I personally like my noodles "drier" too, and that looks so delicious omg
Emily don't feel weird putting creamer in your tea! I do everyday! With a little bit of honey or maple syrup. If i dont have creamer I do a oat milk. Makes it very creamy and delicious
@@violetjade64 girl sorry but talking like this to people isn’t going to make them turn vegan. How about be kind and understanding to others even if they don’t have the same eating habits as you.
@@violetjade64 i honestly dont care. Im not vegan. Nor do i want to be vegan. I make decisions that I personally see fit right for me and for the earth. To survive weve all got to make sacrifices and go through some pain. But in the end hun. We all die. Lmaooo so imma eat what i want to eat and do what i want to do. Thank you very much
Your fear of getting jelly in the peanut butter is valid and something I think about too lol, so I always do peanut butter first so that way I get peanut butter in the jelly instead of the other way around!
Your timing is incredible! I literally was looking for a vegan "what I eat in a..." video before ending my procrastination on sleep (it's 3 am here) lol love the vid
Omg so I am living on my own (I'm 20) and I shop at Aldi often - helps me save money . Could you do more Aldi hauls and meal planning? I struggle with this, especially when purchasing produce. I would love to hear what you come up with!
i swear to god at the very end when you said "true friend," I thought hannah montana AND THEN YOU SANG IT lolol zillennials unite. also, using the insides of the tomato as dressing is a total chef-y move. tomato seeds are the most flavorful part.
I’m newly vegan and I’ve been watching all your videos, they make me so excited about cooking a variety of creative, yummy vegan meals (even getting better at using what I have) and you have a very relaxing vibe :))
Frozen veg is a must.... it's usually on sale somewhere if you have a few grocery stores nearby (and most stores have an online shopping function since the pandemic started, so you can double check their sales). So convenient & lasts forever. You can roast broc and cauliflower from frozen as long as you preheat the baking sheet... and corn/peas/beans all steam perfectly from frozen. Frozen spinach/greens are also the easiest thing to throw in a sauce or soup at the end to bulk it up. :)
I love your energy and videos. They make me feel like we’re friends. We cook the same and have the same mindset on using things up and trying to get our veggies and protein in. I just love it lol thank you for what you do! 💛💛💛
Omg yes that Boursin spread is the BEST. My sister and I keep it stocked in the fridge at all times!! It’s incredible spread on Matzo crackers or slices of toasted french bread/sourdough bread! 🤤
my older sister got me the peppa pig food paint tubes last year as a cute gag gift for my birthday or a holiday (can’t remember 😭) and they were actually SO GOOD. they weren’t just sweet jelly, it was actual fruit purée! and it helped make some sweets more enjoyable for me since I don’t always have the biggest sweet tooth, the fruit purée provided a nice co contrast of acidity to liven up ice cream or cake ahaha. pretty sure I also squirted it onto/into everything possible, even a smoothie ! the pb&j I made with them was also good. if you see these and you wanna buy something fun to make your day, try these !
Hi! Fellow lentil-eater here! If you need to get rid of some lentils I recommend trying out a “Mujaddara” recipe It’s so good :) (it’s basically a lentil n rice dish)
I can't drink coffee (heart problems), which is really sad because I LOVE the taste of coffee. After 6 years of being coffee free I recently tried roasted tea.... and OMG is it amazing. It absolutely would support creamer, I like the Brown Sugar OatMilk. I so far have tried Teccciano Vanilla Nut and Hazel Nut, as well as Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma, which I like best.
I personally take a spoon to put the tea leaves inside, way less messy !! Also for the pizza I put the cheese underneath the toppings ;) better looking that way
My "getting all the tea leaves to stay inside the mesh" tips : I put less tea this way 1. I can leave the tea leaves in the cup for a long time without it tasting bad 2. my tea package lasts longer. Thank you for coming to my tea talk.
10:04 definitely would fold that in half to keep everything together, although in the bite you’d get double crust which can be a lot , that is why I eat with bowls to make scooping it up easy and less frustrating💚
it's so annoying when veggies are packaged with so much plastic!! our bell peppers are like that at a lot of stores. we do have bunches of different types of lettuce without plastic tho if you wanna see if your store has that too! great video as always btw :-)
I could not keep that bag of kettle cooked chips around for more than a few days. Doesn’t matter the size of the bag😭😭 I’m bad with proportion control when it comes to junkie foods ex: faux meats/cheese, chips, crisps Emily, how do you do it? I admire your self-discipline🥺💗
these comments aren’t super helpful even tho i know you didn’t have bad intentions! she doesn’t have self-discipline & they’re not junk foods - some foods are just more processed than others ❤️
this is an old comment but as someone who's struggled a lot with eating i've found it helpful to get rid of assigning morals to food. some food is more nutritious but it's all inherently neutral having food rules, or telling yourself you can't have a certain food i find only gives food more power over you, and sets you up for binge eating or intense food guilt when you do eat that food. i'm not sure how deep your struggles run but for me i used to think about food 24/7 which isn't normal. food isn't supposed to have that much power over you. food is.. just food. instead of eating from the package you can portion it out with baggies and put it in bowls. more mindful eating can be helpful, like eating without distractions, or chewing and eating slower, or putting down your fork after each bite. when i eat i check in with myself a lot. am i satisfied? am i full? i feel a lot more in tune with my hunger signals now
Hey girlllllll! Have you ever had vegan pho? Its so so soooo good! It had all the same spices as regular pho, but no animals. And it’s like a legit viet food bc of viet buddhist monks!
I feel so sorry for people who don’t live near farmer’s markets! Nothing comes in plastic, you can get just the amount you need, you can get to know and trust farmers who say it’s organic, and the veggies are super fresh!
HI I HAVE A GOOD TEA RECOMMENDATION, use condensed milk. That's what my dad does and he is a British Arab and has two large cupboards filled to the brim with tea so,,, you can say we he is somewhat of a connoisseur.
This video was very inspiring!! But as a French I'm always shocked about the amount of plastic that comes with the veggies in the US. In France it's really not like that at all 😶
Pls help me guys. Finding vegan snack food in the USA is so easy, but I can't find basically anything here at Hungary. Thrive market doesn't ship to here either. Any ideas besides baking for myself? Any EU based (and cheap) vegan online shop where I could order from?
