@@doctoravi has to be develop diamond hand skills and meeting the students and faculty. Side question: did you wait until after dental school to get a tattoo? I know many are still weird about that

@@victorschlatter3357 Nice! Yes meeting students and faculty is going to be a great way to build community! I got my tattoo last year - so it was after school. I only recently wanted it but if I wanted it in school I would have gotten it. I had classmates in school with tattoos - do what you want and live your life!

Hi! I was in the pre dental ASDA society at my school. This helped me get exposure to information that would help me apply to dental school. Another thing I was active in was the intramural sports league!

Dentistry is not what you make of it. Dentistry is what insurance company make of it. Delta dental ruined my life. I have been a dentist for 36 years. Reimbursement is low and new dentist now a days hire companies to negotiate w insurance companies to get a higher rate. This you do every year or every other or every third whatever … many young dentists come out really in debt and they work for DSOs. Many were owed money 10,000- 50,000 dollars. Don’t go to private dental school or private college ! Do everything as state residence in state school. Save your money. It cost a lot to buy a practice or start on your own. good luck !
