Hi friends! In today's video, I'll be sharing with you what i wish i knew before taking the NCLEX! The NCLEX can be really intimidating and with this pandemic, it's constantly changing. To understand what to do before taking the nclex, we have to really take a look at how to take it. The most recent exam changes were made this past October 1st and I'll be reiterating some important ones.
To be fully transparent, it took me a few more than 75 questions to pass my nclex. I passed in roughly 108 questions! Wherever you're at with you're studying, it is possible for you to pass. I try to see describe what it is exactly that I’m fearing and that’s helped me to channel fear into “excitement” obviously no one is excited to take the nclex but understanding the fear has helped me to prevent the fear from crippling me. Hey guys I am just so happy I finally passed all the steps in NCLEX Exam after failing 2 times but thanks to my friend who recommended me to Mr Smith who provided me with some materials.that Help me proper I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many others but failed two times but than to GOD today am a proud doctor woking in USA with good salary, to all those who are still struggling to clear thier. @@McDzy I studied off of uworld and Kaplan mostly and some other resources. To tell you the truth if you really study and train yourself to control your nerves is not as bad. Hi! Do you mean that you switched from PA to RN? I think right now the authorization to take the NCLEX has been slower because of the pandemic but they have been trying to get them to new grads ASAP. My advice would be to apply all over! Different hospitals have different needs. Some are more short staffed than others. Other places have frozen their new grad hirings. You can always transfer to other places once you have experience! And thanks for watching! ☺️

I think whatever your nursing school inculcated is what is important for NCLEX. So long as one studies diligently in nursing school then NCLEX should not be a problem. The NCLEX questions is doable. Let no one discourage you. All those question banks are just a booster to upgrade your morale for the exam but honestly to my opinion it is nursing school that made me sail through.

When do u take the NCLEX exam is it after your nursing program or is it when you transfer for your BSN when your about to graduate? I took the community college rout i am almost done with my prerequisites after that i have to apply for a nursing program to get my RN license and also take my TEAS test.

After you complete the ASN Nursing Program, you can take the NCLEX. You can apply during your final semester, but you cannot take it until they approve you (which means you need to graduate). Most BSN Nursing Programs require you to be licensed, in other words, you need to pass the NCLEX first. I took the community college route too. After two years I have my ASN, passed the NCLEX (second try), have two job offers, and will complete my BSN in December 2021. If you ask me, it's faster to go to a Uni and graduate with your BSN, THEN take the NCLEX. But at least I don't have college debt to worry about ya know.

Hi! I tried to do a 9-3 schedule. At most 8 hours. It’s really exhausting to do a full 8 hours every day for one whole month so I recommend lots of breaks if you decide to go that route!

What were the majority of categories of questions they were asking?. Was it similar to the NCSBN test plan ? Like more client needs or priority ?

The questions depend on who takes them. Especially on how well you answer the questions so it’s really hard to say what you yourself will get. I had a lot of maternity in mine and some of my classmates didn’t have any maternity at all!

I don't know how some people study in a library but for me the bed is the most comfortable and calm place to study. Nursing school makes it hard to procrastinate because everything has a deadline and not doing what needs to be done could lead to unimaginable consequences.

I’m the opposite! I put a lot of pillows on my bed so I always fall asleep right away. But yeah I agree! nursing school is quite tough and it can suck when you procrastinate 🥴

Thank God I finally passed my #NCLEX after 2 attempts. but thanks to Mr Collins who provided me with audios and answers papers. I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many methods but failed two times but thank GOD today I'm a proud nurse , to all those who are still struggling to clear thier #NCLEX also never give up seeing in your self and give a try to any opportunity you got. I took my NCLEX 15 October 2020 and I made it. Just going through RU-vid I saw many viewers commenting and giving testimonies so I decided to put Mine with intend to inspire that friend frustrated cause he/she missing opportunities cause he/she has failed NCLEX once twice or more, not give up. I tried uworld, kaplan, met numerous tutors got scammed and finally at God’s time. A friend of mine introduced me to Mr William he helped me and now I’m officially RN. The test can be hard! Honestly it’s a mental game especially with the select all that apply! I suggest sitting through and having the mental stamina for it. Taking lots and lots of practice tests after you’ve reviewed materials by systems! Either that or find a study style that works for you by experimenting a different style each week? Every two weeks? Good luck!
