Very pretty February manis 💜 Yay for Don't Bossa Nova Me Around being a fab formula 🎉. I only have about 20 indies, (2 orders over two years) and I Believe I Can Chai is one from my most recent order (paid an arm and a leg for shipping to NZ - think I need to look for different indie stockists that post internationally). Rogue's Tomorrowland was another in that same order and I'm wearing it today...wow, it's gorgeous!

i've seen a pink flake topper over a navy blue and it looks so pretty. i've been wanting to pick up a pink flake polish so i can do that combo. i really loved the red with black topper. It's like a lady bug 😊 i just got Batsy so i can do a copycat mani of that one. so fun to see what you wore ☺
i like ice and bubbles on its own built up as an accent nail. i havent played around with it yet as a topper. i like it because its not gold and its not silver. a little bit like orlys just an illusion.
May I ask why you won't be purchasing from Moon Cat again? There was a little drama lately but I stay out of drama these days lol. I have one (and two more coming), but unless it's a really special one, they're just too expensive to buy here. They're about $18 here LOL
A few reasons. Too expensive for what they are. I wasn’t overly impressed with the quality to match the price. But mostly because I did research (after everyone raved sooo much about the blue hades but it was just meh to me) and apparently they are notorious for having batch inconsistencies. So one person will say the polish is a perfect two coater and someone else will say the same polish is streaky and takes 3 coats with bald spots (like me with the hades polish). Reviews said this happens with every batch they do. No consistency at all and I’m not willing to spend that much money and then have to hope I get a good batch.

It says topcoat so I’m guessing you don’t need a topcoat. I’ve always done a topcoat though not really thinking about it. I’m curious because the flakies suspend nicely and don’t sink so I’m wondering how it could be a topcoat and the ingredients don’t sink (you’d need a glitter base for them to suspend)
Great manis! Two questions: how often do you do your manis (I tend to do every 3 or 4 days), and is there any particular reason why you won’t purchase from Mooncat again? I like what I see from the brand but have never purchased. Thanks!
Hi thank you. I try to do my nails every 2-3 days. Sometimes if I have a lot I want to get to, I’ll do them every day. Other times I get too tired or busy and keep the same mani or naked nails for 4 or 5 days. I bought from mooncat one time and just overall wasn’t impressed enough to want to buy again. A ton of reviews say they have inconsistency in their batches. So one polish will be perfect 2 coater for one person but 3 or 4 streaky coats for another. I just don’t feel like wasting my money on a brand like that.
I’m not impressed with the formulas or the prices. Plus they have a ton of reviews that say they are very very inconsistent with formula in batches. So the same polish will either be 2 perfect coats or 3 streaky coats depending which batch it came from.
Very nice manis!! I have OPI Never Hut Up and was so disappointed in it. Not a destasher so I've put some shimmers over it and they really transform it! 🩶😊
Yes pretty disappointing. I hate shimmer polishes when the shimmer doesn’t show up. What’s the point 😂 but the grey is pretty so I’ll keep it this time
