I find it funny how recently in FighterZ Black says that he finds Super Saiyan 4 primitive and that he would never go to the lengths of reaching that form himself. As always, amazing work!

Imagine Goku black telling the canon Vegeta this: Goku black: “Oh Vegeta? In another timeline, you kicked my ass. But you won’t be doing the same to me this time.” Vegeta: “Did my other self at least did it really cool?” Goku black: “...*sigh* Yes.” Vegeta: “I regret nothing if I die, Kakarot.”
And they make very convincing performance. Goku Black always seemed to really be getting into the saiyan mannerisms. He always seemed a lot more saiyan like than other saiyans we've seen. While Vegetas bravado always seemed through the roof, where since he attained the likes of godhood he's been more refined with it like displayed here.
Well, Goku Black was actually still learning, and he robbed a body from a Goku that didn’t had zenkais anymore, which made Goku Black learn a lot of the Saiyans and always keeping that in mind, since Goku and Vegeta were born like that, they didn’t went to know more about their races so, let’s say Goku Black went for the easy way here since he just had to learn and almost die and that’s how he got stronger, Goku and Vegeta can go the same way without zenkais tho
Not really pretending to be a Saiyan he is one and Vegeta is not a god he just has the ability to use a form that can combat gods, kaioken could be used as an example.
So, Goku Black's powers include: -Ki Manipulation -Ki Decoy -Healing -Super Saiyan (Mortal Route) -Super Saiyan (Divine Route) -Kaioken -"British Accent" Did I miss anything?

By leaving the events prior to this fight ambiguous to the viewer, we can imagine what's going through Vegeta's head right before he starts his monologue. I like to imagine that it took quite a bit of convincing from Goku’s side in order to get Vegeta on board with ascending to god (rather than how events went in the movie). So whenever Black tells him he can’t win, he flashes back to that conversation he had with Goku. Goku putting his faith in one of his past enemies - someone who basically turned cities of his home to glass - to defend the place they now both live. I feel like this would definitely be enough of an emotional nudge to usher Vegeta into ascended God form. Either that or Hyourinjutsu just wanted some flare to add to the battle. Either/or is a win/win for me!
It was pretty much like anime . He did say a couple of things more like they both worked hard for it and black stole goku's fruits of training Basically it was " YOU FILTHY BODY SNATCHER ! "
I think you've missed some details that imply he's not only more cooperative than ours, but outright stronger as well. Let's start with the obvious, he's using techniques he shouldn't have access to, like hellzone grenade and those surprise ki blasts from the ground, piccolo and Goku moves. Not only that, but he and Goku were fighting beerus in the flashbacks, something that doesn't happen in either version of that fight in the original timeline. This Vegeta therefore is less arrogant, and willing to accept help... But then why didn't they use Goku for the ritual? And why wasn't he in ssj3 fighting beerus. Call it a hunch, but given he has more training partners due to cooperating with other's and the fact Goku was on earth, there's a chance this Vegeta is outright stronger than that goku, and even the original timeline Goku by this point in the story. I mean he was already being debatably stronger in the og timeline with less, so why wouldn't this Vegeta be stronger than that one?

The stories you've painted, giving Vegeta a much-needed win and improving upon a very unexplored character in Goku black. Creating suspense for the next episode, all the while giving an earth-shattering fight that leaves heaven breathless, this was a masterpiece in the truest sense of the word.
@@Bluesit32 Black achieved his goal, that's true, but he did that by losing the fight. Vegeta would have probably killed him right there if he hadn't retreated.
To Hyourinjutsu. Just being frank here , your what ifs are THE most entertaining thing to consume compared to the vast arrays of DBZ fan creations that exist out there. (Believe me there's a lot) From Fanfictions, to fan-animation, abridged series , live-action creation and even games i have consumed a lot. All of them are great homages to this franchise but they never elevated the franchise itself (Team Four Star DBZA being the only exception) . Point is, your work on these what ifs has been fascinating to watch over the years , seen them grown in quality and now with this narrative hook to it i can confidently say that every DBZ fan should watch your what ifs to get the full DBZ experience. Your what ifs in my eyes genuinely elevates the franchise. I haven't felt this giddy to watch something DBZ related since the Broly movie two years ago. Do not stop with this Goku Black story, its at the best part right now and i can't wait to see what happens next. Keep doing this, your work is unparalleled and unique even among the sprite animation sphere. These people however are only fan fiction writers. Since they dont necessarily have rules limiting them on what they can or cant add, they can do whatever they want. They tend to always have some flaw. I will admit I've never been this intrigued by anything dragon ball in a while. Since broly at least. Dragon ball deliverance was heat. I always appreciate the offical one though even if it's hot buns.
not gonna lie, together with his personality, Goku Black's journey to get stronger is pretty dope. almost makes me wanna root for him. oh, and super saiyan god evolution makes total sense btw.
Y'know the more I think about it, the more I realize Hyuorinjutsu is a master of very tiny details. Like I feel when future Gohan's theme starts playing it is a callback as to what he said before he was killed by the Androids and Goku Black in this what-if series. That Vegeta is the "someone stronger who will take my place" and for that I deeply respect Hyourinjutsu for that. Thanks a ton for this wonderful series and keep up the good work 👍
I like to think that Vegeta from this timeline got, for the lack of a better word, "inspired" by Black going Rose for those few seconds at the end, letting him know that an SSJ + SSG combination is possible, and he eventually reached Blue on his own. I mean come on, he even gets a glimpse of it during the fight itself!
Golden Frieza about to get clobbered by an early Blue Evolved Vegeta. And whatever the Zamasu of this timeline decides to do, I imagine Vegeta will be pretty quick to put him down.

This battle was animated so good. You can see why it took so long. Not only does the animation have different features and qualities to it but it's actually developing into a really good story. This is awesome, I will be here for the next one
I think it’s safe to say Hyourinjutsu’s Goku Black is an absolute genius. He is constantly flying under everyone’s radar, learning new skills and transformations, growing stronger. All while strategically time hopping across the multiverse just to find good sparring partners. This guy is a psychopathic chess master!
This would actually be a good storyline in Super if its executed right. Obviously Black is gone but they could do this with the first time traveler they talked about in the series.
Honestly what's the Endgame. This Goku black is possibly the most dangerous villain in any Db fan-story ever. Plus the script and the details are just surperb!!!

Black is not holding anything back, he’s pulling out all the stops, he is determined to take Goku’s and by extension the saiyan race’s potential power to its logical extreme and it seems that nothing short of a God Of Destruction might stop him, and eventually not even that. Hell, Black might actually try to go after Toppo and Jiren eventually. Like that other guy said: he’s actually trying to speedrun to Super Saiyan Rosé 4.
Everyone talking about Goku Black but Can we take a minute to appreciate the timeline he's in, where Vegeta becomes the first SSG? It's such an amazing idea and I'd adore to see more done with it!

i think we're also forgetting that Vegeta now has Evolution god as well, which while still weaker than blue, would set the seeds for Vegeta to get Evolution blue *far* earlier than normal, with Goku himself possibly going for it as well now that he knows such a thing exists...especially since Vegeta ALSO got an early heads up on the idea to combine God with ssj thanks to seeing Black do it.

@@simplysupreme1030 not really. Remember Goku: Xeno in SSJ4 who has had God Ki before lost to post TOP SSGSS Goku. So as much I love the Xeno characters and backstory I don't think they would win due to what has been said in Heroes.
Personally the only bad part of the Goku Black Arc was the infinite zamasu ending, like they had a awesome ending with Future Trunks and the Spirit Sword and they ruined it by adding that.
Hyourinjutsu is a legend making all these hyped fights and having obvious power scaling and badass music i really hope this channel wil go on for many years it is a great channel. Respect Hyourinjutsu

Just a little tid bit I liked in the beginning. When Goku Black launches the two cars and Vegeta catches them and saves the people in them, really shows how much his character has grown. He may not be the Prince or Possible King of Planet Vegeta anymore. But it shows he's definitely found a planet he sees that's worth ruling as the Prince of, albeit us weaklings earthlings can be seen as to him sometimes. It's a nice detail I noticed that made me go "Vegeta kick this poser's ass and SHOW HIM who exactly he's testing the patience of!"
Honestly Hyourin, I noticed how good Goku black felt about beating Vegeta in SSG. Now, I don't know if you're THAT good in detail, but I vaguely remember in the manga that Vegeta in the future was beating Goku black with SSG and rapidly switching to Blue in between intervals, which made Black completely furious. If you planned that intentionally, then my respect for you has increased ten-fold!
To be fair it'd piss me off too if I'm using a much more powerful form and I can't even see him changing to Blue but he's still kicking my ass. It's like being on a motorcycle and still losing in a race to the guy on the Bicycle. I imagine that was also an ulterior motive for getting 4 as well. He wanted to flex on Vegeta the same way Vegeta flexed on him.
First, I love how Goku Black is just hopping across timelines, making all the fights canon to the Hyourinjustu Multiverse. Second, with all the explanations, it really makes me think. These fights really be making sense, more so than some DB episodes. Awesome work.
I still find it interesting that Heroes ended up exploring Goku Black tapping into the true power of Saiyan Biology like how you did. Though I do think you've been handling it a lot better so far. What I like about your ideas and writing is that it makes super saiyan 4 more interesting. The way you talk and think about the transformation doesn't make it sound like just another transformation but what the super saiyan form was meant to truly be. You make it seem like the super saiyan 4 form is the actual TRUEST form of SUPER SAIYAN.

That Goku needs an actual fight. The sort of techniques he could pull with that experience and the fact that he was stronger than one of the Gogetas are enough material.
What we can expect from this Goku Black: - unite to Baby Vegeta for a big future plan - regrow his tail again, because he stated it was crutial. Maybe Baby Vegeta could get one too. - try to combine the powers he discovered and learn news like UI I wish he fights against the Super manga Goku that was fighting GT Goku. One after the Moro Saga that haves a tail (a idea he had because of his fight with GT Goku) and a control of UI like manga. It would make a great villain. I also expect then to fight against Beerus as Baby Vegeto Black, the fusion ends, Beerus breaks the potara and they fuse again with the dance, creating Baby Gogeta Black.
@@leirbag1595 yes,like,according to the official power scalling video he is superior to even beerus and he can be even stronger by what we know,since he can use the kaioken x10 or x20,and since he has much more experience than all the other versions of goku we know perharps he can use even greater levels of the kaioken,x30,x40,perharps even x100. if this is not enough,thanks to the battle of baby and black vs broly we know that with the transformation of ssj4 and enough zenkais,one can theorically achieve a ssj5,perharps this goku can achieve it and combine with the godly ki the same way he did with the ssj4. We can go even further and speculate that this goku trained and achieved the evolution forms that vegeta has achieved,and we too have the detail that he did became a kid,so he does not have his full power like his adult form GODAMMIT!!! this goku has an unbeliveable amount of potential
God <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="285">4:45</a> can't stop watching it, so good at how they charge up making it seem like they both equal to each other however, black powers up ever father showing the gap between them. And the music choice was godly

I LOVE THIS GOKU BLACK/ZAMASU! Saiyans are naturally power-hungry and battle-thirsty, so we've never truly gotten to see something like a Saiyan Genius. If Bardock lived longer he probably could've been, but this is why I love the concept of Goku Black; a Saiyan wielded by Zamasu gets rid of that pure battle mentality. His end goal isn't just to reach endless power and continuously and become the strongest, that's more or less just his goal by proxy. His true goal is achieving his "Zero Mortals Plan", by having that main goal instilled, he's not held back by the natural Saiyan tendencies of honor and fight-fight-fight, and instead _abuses_ the heck of the fact that he is Saiyan. I love the concept of Goku Black because it provides a Saiyan Genius while _not_ breaking the lore of what a Saiyan is like. Goku Black isn't a "One-of-a-Billion-Special-boy-who-doesn't-want-to-fight" pure Saiyan, but a God abusing the Saiyan to their own desires. Goku Black literally answers _every_ single creative application of what a Saiyan is without being hindered by battle hunger or blood lust. Sure he's still hungry for power, but with his main goal he's much more flexible with his desires and training than that. He may not have honor as a fighter, but damn does he do his homework and exploit Saiyan abilities like an absolute madlad. The animation is stellar! I love how the Ki blasts and attacks are so vibrant and how it feels like every attack does have an impact both on the receiver and the environment around it. Every action, both during non-fight scenes and dialogue/exposition feel meaningful, every action having an equal reaction, the faintest wind ruffling hair, IT'S *GODLIKE!* I'm sure you've already heard this a million times before, but again, I just love everything about the presentation of your sprite battles, especially how you use Ki from different parts of the body. If I had to have a complaint it's that attacks like the Ki Blade and Ki Scythes don't really feel like they have an impact on the opponent like a blade would, it just feels like they're being smacked with blunt bats. That's understandable in my opinion since Goku Black's ki-blades are a unique attack to him and would further display the differences in how GB and Vegeta use their Ki, and that it just allows for more varied scenes to play out. It wouldn't do well for a fight scene for the blades just cut off their limbs, so its understandable that they act the way they are, but it's just irks me slightly. i was thinking something very similar, he basically is just biohacking saiyan capabilities to his own ends. Vegeta goku and the half breeds did it to a degree with human ki style training(able to take it to the next level that old school pre freiza saiyans never could), but zamasu really accelerated it.
I love the Super Saiyan Blue Evolved parallel, and this fight paralleled Goku vs Baby Vegeta where both kept transforming throughout the battle! This is genius, man! Plus, you have a whole continuity! I LOVE IT :D And they were using cars in battle!!
I love how at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="363">6:03</a> Vegeta thinks he can turn his back and be absolutely unharmed. Then Zamasu goes Kaioken at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="365">6:05</a> and all of a sudden it's a problem. Prideful punk gets a wake-up call.
