Tatianna wasn’t eliminated during the season 2 makeover challenge. She wasn’t even in the bottom 2. That was jujubee and pandora where pandora was eliminated
@@stijnverkade354 Not really, no, Detox and Katya's makeovers of their sister and mum respectively were one of the best on the show as a whole, but I guess Tatianna would have been kind of the best of the worst in that case.

The Angel Forfax It’s getting to the point now where if you don’t win all stars, you are the most talented. Let’s be real All Stars 1 and 2 were made to be won by chad and Alaska. As4 was messy as manila should have won 5/7 challenges but the producers had storylines- that didn’t include manila- to push. We shouldn’t care about the winner because at this point it’s meaningless.

Kataya’s story of finding a way to love herself and see how great she is truly is beautiful and giving her the win would be actually really powerful and kinda inspirational in a way , but at the same time detox shown how her style of drag should be respected and how it’s grown during the season so I feel like her winning would also be powerful, In the end I chose kataya because her finding a way to love herself just would inspire so many people including myself
Would Tati instead of Roxxxy in the Read u Wrote u performance be better? Yes. Would it be more iconic? Tbh I don't think so. Roxxxy's part is the most iconic part, for all the wrong reasons, but still.

Detox really would gain more from winning than Katya, and she was over all very good in the season 🤔 while Katya had the story of coming from season 7 where she had terrible self esteem and issues that royally screwed her over - only to then grow as a person right before our eyes and in her own eyes... The choice is impossible 😖 i would guess that had ru had these two to pick from, she probably? Wouldve picked Katya bc story. But i couldve wrong and really, both could be worthy winners
Detox moght have gained more but thats not what winning is about. If you take into account how well Katya did throughout the season and also how she was easily one of the most popular fan favourites of all time I am pretty sure Ru would/should pick Katya
detox showed she doesn't have what it takes to get the crown when she eliminated very strong and talented queens just to save her friend, who had been constanlty failing to prove herself by the end of the season, as much as i love her you just can't ignore that. Maybe it was a strategy to have less competition who knows, but you can tell than even Ru was suprised when she eliminated Tatiana insted of Roxxie who was the clear loser in that episode
I mean I ADORE Alaska. She's one of my favourite drag queens, but even I think that she shouldn't have won those lip syncs. Katya SLAYED Cherry Bomb while Alaska was a mess. And her tantrum when she was in the bottom really sucked. But I do understand her win as her whole story was "Oh now that I am my own person, I can show the world what I have got" and I think she gained a LOT of support from her win. But I think Katya should have won All Stars. She was consistently in the top with only being in the bottom twice (and the second time she wasn't even terrible). Detox should have been in the bottom with the Drag Shark Tank challenge (I don't know what it's called) because she really did not execute a polished prototype and Tatianna's commercial was SO good! This basically makes Katya have the top track record. She also has the BEST storyline. I love Detox but Katya won in my eyes
I can't with people saying katya should have won. There's no bigger fan of katya than me, but she simply shouldn't have won. Detox did significantly better than her and so did Alaska.
I chose Katya only because she had more points. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Detox. But Katya had more points and honestly as we've seen the final lipsync doesn't really matter, it's pretty much just for the satisfaction of the fans. But yeah I chose katya solely because she had more points and more top two placements
@@Oh.Wow01 yes but she also won the comedy challenge with Tatianna, Alyssa and Alaska. It was the stand up comedy in pairs. But only the returning Queens had to lipsync (Alyssa and Tatianna), while Alaska and Detox did not have to lipsync.

I feel like Detox would win AS2 if Alaska wasn't favoured, we all know Tatianna is the skinnest legend from AS2 so she'd be who i would want to win but returning queens don't win; which is something I'd like to see change in future if it's deserved.
I'd love to see a queen return half way in a season after missing maybe only. One or two episodes and just fucking smash the 2nd half of the season to prove they deserve to be a contender for the crown
I just rewatched the season and Detox is so underrated. The most consistent queen in that season and outside of her Alyssa elimination, gave me joy the entire time.
I love Katya but I voted for Detox because I think she had the most to gain from winning, and that's what All Stars should be about (even though it clearly isn't sometimes!). And as you said, Katya already got the redemption she needed.
In her ru-caps from season 2 of all stars, Katya said she picked Tatiana because Roxxy did better on the runway. Also she said that she didn't put a big effort in the lipsinc because she didn't wanted to eliminate Tatiana. Great video, I think detox would in this situation.

I think that this being the Top 2, it would be commercially more interesting to crown Katya. Then, maybe on All Stars 3 there would not exist that twist and the winner could be other than Trixie.
Now, this is one of the most complicated questions in history. If Detox wins All Stars 2, she would get her rudemption/(ruvenge?) arc after being eliminated by Jinkx Monsoon on Season 5. She gave looks the whole season and she showed an improvement even better than Alaska's. However, I have been rooting for Katya since the first time I discovered Drag Race, winning All Stars 2 might not be exactly what she needed (because all of her time on the season was enough for her to grow), but it would seal her storyline as a queen that not only grew as a performer, but as a queen that showed herself that she is an amazing person. Both of them would be perfect, but I think Ru and the producers would pick Katya because she was popular, a fan favorite, a young queen in contrast to Chad Michaels and, her story would have connected with several fans.
I know detox deserves redemption but I think Ru would crown Katya due to her having a better speech. Also because she has a wider fan base. AND it’d also create the whole storyline of Katya doubting herself, overcoming it, and then taking the crown which Ru would probably push. Also all stars 2 probably would’ve been edited differently, if Katya were to win this storyline would most likely be more prominent and Phi Phi wouldn’t be such a raging villain because Alyssa isn’t going to return and eliminate her. I mean maybe that’s a bit much but the editors would find a way-

I think katya would have won bc she was top 2 in snatch game & detox wuz just safe, being that snatch game iz pretty much the most important challenge of any drag race season. But omg a top 2 with detox & katya would be so close like they both were so good on all starz 2
I charted this out, and I determined Katya would win for having an overall better track record, a better win/loss ratio in lip syncs, going longer before landing in the BTM2, as well as her fan favourite status.
i really thought katya deserved to win especially after her amazing performance in read u wrote u. also if they’re so picky on makeup and looks in general, why didn’t they drag alaska for her blue skin that didn’t entirely cover her body 🙄🙄
Picked Katya purely because she had more points and Detox didn't really have a storyline. I adore Detox and I'm glad in both scenarios she still made top 3, but she also was kinda plotless through the season
they both did incredible, but I think katya would have won because shes more of a fan favourite, and she would have had a great storyline of discovering her self worth.
Honestly, my money'd be on Katya then. Because it would have been a more even showing of her lipsync potential. More wins, better score overall. And, let's be real here. She's a bit closer to the Alaska type. The quirkier one, the one who has good looks but isn't The Alpha Queen of Runways like Detox is. While it would've been a hell of a lot closer than the favoritism-drowned AS2 we got, I'd give it to Katya in the end. The final performance puts her over the top. And her Read You Wrote You verse was, is, and always will be one of the most catchy and amazing ones in any song challenge we've had.
I don't know if Detox is *the* most underrated queen. But I'd give a tie to Katya and Detox. It's just so unfair not to give either a win, because they gave the reality performance of their lives in that season. But I personally believe Katya would do so much more with her crown than either Alaska or Detox, particularly with the strength of her brand and the appeal she has to people who suffer from emotional and mental issues.

Katya said on her podcast (there's like 150hrs of content there, I don't remember in which episode) that she picked Tatianna because she was the worst...BUT that she flunk the lipsync on purpose because she didn't want to be the one to eliminate Tati. So, in the end, Tati would have left anyway... I'm listening her podcast again from the beginning, so I'll let you know when I find where and when she said this Abrazos y besos Uckey :)

Katya: Would win because her Snatch Game was better (a win on SG is better than in a regular challenge) and she was the fan favorite. Detox: Would win for storyline (in S5 the fan favorite beats Rolaskatox, now one of Rolaskatox beats the fan favorite) and Rudemption. It would be really anyone's game.
I’d definitely agree they were pushing for Alaska to win. She said on her podcast that even she thought she would be in the bottom when she was wearing her blue alien look with the long nails, which is also the episode where they did the Baddest Bitches in Herstory challenge. And I don’t think her runway was bad at all, so I think she knew she didn’t do well in the challenge.
I think it would make the most sense coming from rupaul herself that detox would win because I remember ru saying that detox is one of the most fashion iconic queens to be on the show
I honestly think alaska still deserved to be in the top for sketches. But detox and Katya did better than phi phi imo (maybe because roxxy was just soo bad) so one of those and then probably Detox should be in the top (although Katya's ruveal was GENIUS). But i honestly except for Katya losing the cherry bomb dont think Alaska was treated unfairly.

I think that Katya would win for storyline reasons and to please the fans. Also she was in the previous season so most people had her fresh in their minds if that makes sense.
