Hi, Im the guy who discovered the seed, thank you for showcasing it, I haven't actually seen it been played on gold stake yet! And yes, the deck is indeed caused by a bug in how erratic decks are generated, so anyone who wants to try it out, should do so sooner rather than later, as I so fully expect this to get patched. Nice video, and glad to see my find doing the rounds!

So the math behind that seed is like roughly 1/52^51.. pretty lucky

A bug would be if this type of seed was happening with higher than normal occurrences. By definition the randomness the Erratic Deck offers you would be bound to bump into at least one seed that gives you all of one type of card so long as seeds generate with at least 52^52 possible variations. They don't, seeing as they're stuck with a finite number of letters (26). If Balatro seeds had 63 possible letters there would be enough seeds to force (at minimum) every possible deck state Erratic could ever have

i found a 4 of a kind is 4x and negative pair for 2x so my best was 90mil

I doubt it is a bug, especially with walkie talkie... I would think it is an easter egg...

surely the best possible joker for this deck is Idol no? It can literally only boost cards in your deck, Thats a 32X multiplier, and with Showman or Ankh, in total its a 1024X multiplier.

the secret with this deck is to use your Discards early on.

10 is the worst because it's the hardest possible card to strength up for Cloud 9.

I thought I'd repost a comment I made here for more visibility. TLDR: the probability of the deck existing without a bug is not accurate, it's just flat out impossible. No "1 in X chance", just 0. This is something that is told when you're a kid in high school or something, but it's false. Just because an event has a probability of happening does NOT mean it is possible. First, you have to understand that maths is an approximation, a simplified simulation of the world. You cannot dumb down the infinite complexity of our universe to mere numbers. The human brain is just incapable of apprehending the infinity. When you shuffle a deck of cards thoroughly, you can very easily get, if not every time, a combination of cards that has never been done before and will never be done again. That's how unfathomably large the possibilities are with a deck of 52 cards. Now in our case the possibilities are infinitely higher, because you are not limited for each card to be unique. What I'm trying to say is, you can't look at the "1 in 10^87 chance" and say "well there is still the 1 chance so it must be possible". Because it doesn't work like this in the real world. It cannot and will never happen, even if everyone on Earth presses the "new game" button every second, without ever stopping, for the next millennium. And I can bump the speed or time however I want, until I get to infinite speed and/or time, it is simply and strictly impossible. Another example I can give is, it is at least as likely, if not more, for a meteor to fall on you and give you whatever superpower you desire. It is at least as likely for a hole to open up under your feet to make you fall through Earth and make you pop back up at the other side of the planet, or in a parallel universe. These seem like pure fiction because it totally is. It's not possible by any standard. BUT if you were to put numbers on it, you could get the same "1 in 10^87 chance of it happening" that we have for this deck to exist *naturally*. So yes, the only possibility is that there is a bug, an oversight with the seed creation. There was a very big case of "probability in mainstream media" going around with the youtuber Dream cheating on Minecraft speedruns. I really recommend the video on this topic by Stand-up Maths "How lucky is too lucky?". It's a great video of a professional mathematician explaining everything I said in a more visual manner. Thank you if you actually went through my entire comment. ❤ I'm working on that field and it's important to me that people understand the concept that maths cannot be accepted as an absolute truth.

Balatro is NOT poker, it uses poker hands to build combos, thats it. Its a deck builder and is far from poker as valve is from creating hl3.
