I would've loved to see Anakin live up to his full potential, watching what badass adventures he would venture on. I would enjoy an alternate reality-movie, where we follow Anakin & Obi-Wan after Revenge of the Sith, as they fight back against Sidious, aided by Windu and Yoda. And in the end, Anakin might disagree with the Jedi still and try to reform them, resulting in civil war! It would be so cool to see Ewan & Hayden together again 🙏

I would love to see a "Star Wars Alternate" where exactly this happens. Would be extremly interesting.

Picturing Anakin living relatively happy with Padme and raising Luke and Leia with the help of their Uncle Obi-Wan just makes me really sad for what could've been.

If Anakin didn't turn then Palpetine would be dead in the fight with Mace since Anakin wouldn't have betrayed him. No order 66. The sith really would be wiped out (except Maul would still be alive) because Grevious and Dooku were dead at this point.

In order for him to not turn to the dark side, he would have to have realized that Palpetine was behind everything including the assassination attempts on Pedme. This would require thinking which is very hard for him to do.

-What if Darth Maul killed Obi Wan in "The Phantom Menace"? -What if Anakin beat Obi Wan in "Revenge of the Sith" and never got in the suit? -What if Luke took Vaders offer to join him and rule the galaxy as father and son? -What if Luke took the Emperors offer and killed Vader on the Death Star? -What if Vader killed Luke on the Death Star and turned Leia?

If order 65 and 66 were executed at the exact time, what would the clones do?

They should make alternate universe movies or tv shows, like a TV movie series that would show alt things each episode, and if a certain episode had better ratings, they would consider making it a feature film but under a different style title, instead as episodes it would get a name. Kind of like rogue one but as a different universe. Personally I would like to see what would happen, in a cinematic, Vader turning to the light side at the end of episode 6. Or a universe where clones didn't have inhibitor chips, or they weren't as strong as they were, and they still had some power over what they did. Or even a tv show based on the old republic. And not the same type of animation as the clone wars or rebels, I mean top animation like the trailers for that old republic MMO

I'd like to see another alternate reality "what if" about how things might have turned out if Anakin had still turned to the Dark Side but didn't get mangled and burned at the end of his first fight with Obi-Wan as Vader. I think it'd be interesting. On a similar note, I've gotta ask...when Sidious threatened Yoda by saying that Vader would become more powerful than either of them, was he serious, or was it mostly a bluff? I know Anakin is said to have the potential to reach levels far beyond the likes of even Yoda or Sidious, but Sidious seems like such a selfish character. In light of this, it puzzles me as to why he'd chose an apprentice who could one day overthrow him. Any insight on this? Great video, btw! Mace is one of the two other Jedi I wish would've survived through to the original trilogy (and possibly beyond), and I like the thought of having Anakin potentially reach his full power.

Screw this. I hate, HATE, the idea of Palpatine throwing his fight with Windu. It's no fun, at all, to have a character who's so good he is impossible to beat in a lightsaber dual. I believe Mace Windu would have won without Anakin coming in.

(I'm treating this video as if it's only working with current canon and not the older EU) I don't think the Rebels would have rose because I doubt The Republic would have fallen. If Sidious is focused on keeping away from the Jedi he doesn't have time to commit major war crimes. Order 66 wouldn't be about taking control (Assuming he survives Mace and Anakin which is...iffy at best) it would be about pure revenge. Remember many Clones discovered their chips and removed them. I think you'd have a sizable minority of clones that would remain loyal and follow Rex's example of removing the chips. They'd return then. More then likely so would Ahsoka. I don't think Sidious would run the raid on the temple as it runs a direct risk of running into Mace and Anakin. Instead of the raid being a full on attempt to kill the Jedi it becomes a distraction as Sidious heads to the Unknown Regions. While I agree with you that Vader isn't essential for the Empire. You failed to take two major things into account. The Empire loses Vader. But the Republic also gains Mace. Sidious would have no chance in a situation of Kenobi, Windu, Skywalker, and Yoda. And at best he'd escape Windu and Skywalker. But he's intelligent. He wouldn't try and stay that fight. He'd go to the shadows. With that many Masters I don't see the Republic falling because Sidious wouldn't confront them. He'd take a sizable portion of the grand army with him. But The Jedi would explain the situation. Hold a new election for Sidious' old role. And the Republic would be ready for Sidious to return. But honestly if he failed I don't think he'd try again. I think he'd become more patient and create a new plan for future Sith. If Anakin didn't fall. Mace doesn't die. Sidious has no shadows left to hide behind.

great vids man been watching for a couple months and i can believe how much the channel's grown

this is one of the best channels I've ever watch and thought what the star wars universe would be if one thing had change and its awesome and detailed in all of these's videos and i cant wait for more to come out to see your the best and greatest man keep the up the great work

WOT WOULD HAPPEN TO LUKE AND LEIA

In all honesty. That would have probably in the longer run have been a better success than what Star Wars currently is. Because in Episode 4 to 7 so far, it has only been the "evil" who has been the conquers. And then you have less than 1 percent who are the good guys who is resisting and building up before it falls again to nothing(episode 7 starkiller killing the republic again). I honestly think that it would have made a good story how everything was good. Then the tide turned to where evil was for the most in control, but the amount of "good" guys were still huge. Like it would have been better if for example Anakin died as a good guy in the battle against evil or was betrayed or something like that during a war against the empire and Luke, Leia and Padme would be the ones suffering from this. Instead it is actually a very squished story(episode 3) where things turn way too fast and a lot of things just doesn't make quite sense. And then you literally only have 2 Jedi left waiting for 1 specific force user to grow up in order to face his evil father. I think that is a story which has more holes to it than the prequels to be honest. Even though the story in Episode 4 to 6 is amazing, then that must be one of the things which annoy me the most.

Anakin turning dark was the only thing i really despised in the whole Star wars franchise, such damn awesome character, a good guy by nature who fell in love with a girl turns evil on false promises, suffers horrific burns, becomes a cripple and is later killed by his own son...there was so much potential, the hope of all that is good, but no, they had to make him bad...i mean come on...:(:(:( It really screwed up my interest in the movies, even the upcoming episode 8

You have a great sense of the individual movements of th pieces involved as well as their motivation which in my opinion makes this 'alternate future' extremely authentic and easy to digest in relation to a 'What if?' discussion. Personally, I would love to see this version made. Canon is canon, but there will always be a part of me that pushes for Ani to stick to the Light. Props, dude.

I fell in love with Padme and the relationship of her Aniken. I actually liked the prequel and liked the cheesy love story of them..and yes I am a straight guy...sigh.. Palpatine manipulating Aniken by implanting those dreams of Padme "dying" into his head (which is my belief) and maybe even orchestrating the love between Aniken and Padme's by suggesting Obi wan (inadvertendly Aniken) to be her bodyguard in the Clone Wars movie is disgusting and truly evil. He manipulated Padme and Aniken's beautiful love story and then destroyed it. Just imagine how much suffering Aniken went through.And to think how little their perfect love story lasted...all because of Palpatine. I hate Palpatine, although from the dark side point of view, he was a God. And to think that if Anakin didn't turn to the dark side, Padme most likely would have survived (bc she wouldn't have died from heart break or be killed by Palpatine)...it's heart breaking... Fuck Palpatine...

This is something I've wondered about for a long time.

I don't believe Palpatine would have advocated for the creation of more Sith. Palpatine was a stalwart and dedicated believer in the Rule of Two. The Inquisitors of course being an exception to the rule since they're not really considered Sith.

I've often postulated an alternate reality, that I somewhat wish the Film Makers had gone with. What if Anakin DID become Darth Vader...but didn't turn (or wasn't intending to turn) to the Dark Side? This alternate universe features Anakin learning of Palpetine's plan, much like how you said. BUT realizing that they face the overwhelming odds, the Jedi take on a different strategy to a more clandestine approach to taking him down. So...realizing that Palpetine must be looking for a new apprentice, Anakin decides to fake his own death, and take on an alternate persona, to get close to Palpetine. This would essentially mean that Anakin would be playing the cover of Darth Vader for about twenty years. Maybe after that time, he would succumb to the power of the Dark Side, or worse, his spirit was broken realizing that Palpetine was too powerful for him to defeat.

Imagine if Anakin never turned to the dark side in the movie then Padme would never have died at all. She only died from child birth because Anakin joined the dark side and broke her heart, which had caused her to lose her free will to live.

Another piece that could be factored into this: the Separatists. The Separatist Council would still be alive on Mustafar, but with their location known to the Jedi, they could likely convince or coerce them into joining the movement against the Empire, since Palpatine merely used them as pawns and never intended the Separatists to win.

i strongly believe that if anakin was able to balance both dark side and light, he would be most powerfull character in history past present or future in star wars universe, both mentally and combat. neither in dark side or pure jedi he would have achieved that, it all about balance...

The only thing I would change in this, would be for Anakin to have been made a Jedi Master when he was appointed to the Jedi Council. I think that was one of the main things that pushed him to the dark side as it reinforced his belief that Obi Wan and the other masters did not see his skill nor value his contributions. I think that, if they had done that, it would have gone far in keeping him from turning and would have probably been the thing that got him to side with Mace instead of Palpatine when the time came. but that's just my thoughts on it.
