I always thought of Snoke as just another version of the same trope. Ah, here we have the menacing wizard overlord, mocking and insulting to both his enemies and his angry, masked muscle. I bet he wants to rule the galaxy from his spooky, yet stylish throne, using a giant, round, mega-laser equipped 'secret' Base. All while communicating his will to aforementioned moody, malevolent, second banana, ultramysteriously through the use of his Intimidating Halloween Hologram System(now in HD!). I did notice that while Sheev preferred 'Sith traditional' black , maybe a little bit of red thrown in for flair in the early years. Snoke, on the other hand was Supreme Leader of Flexing Some Bling

Yeah, cause George Lucas himself, you know, the creator of the fucking franchise, and the person who made this movie said so. Mace uses the enemies dark emotions against them with a style called vapad, so it's not hard to believe he would win against Palpatine, but just cause he's stronger than Palpatine in terms of lightsaber dueling, doesn't make him stronger than Palpatine in the force, and battles are situation, I don't think Mace would EVER beat Yoda in a genuine duel, but he did best Palpatine because that was what Mace trained in most

The Resistance was reduced down to a handful in an old smuggler's freighter. A psychopathic manchild ends up in control of the most powerful military force in the galaxy. Said psychopathic manchild is humiliated in front of his entire force. That's just the big things but if they couldn't make a great third movie out of just that setup alone they don't deserve to call themselves filmmakers.

Well, if you go by power alone you are right of cause but Sith Lords have the tendency to be arrogant! Think about Maul beeing cout in half by Obiwan. He was just a Padawan and Maul a Sith Lord! A Jedi-Killer with years of ruthless training under his belt! He had the Young Obiwan but because he played with him....And Papatine himselfe? He could have killed Luke Skywalker in RoJ but he wanted to enjoy it, cause him pain! And then he was caught of guard by Vader who was not at his best after his fight with Luke! I think it is possible to come up with a convincing Story. It will take some creativity.

I don't think he would myself. I don't think he would have allowed Windu to kill him. The movie is kind of deceptive, but it still suggests that even after absorbing his own lightening, Palpatine is basically fine. He's not even weakened, he's just uglier. There's even a theory that the form Palpatine takes after his duel was actually his true form all along, and his normal human form was just a disguise. Either way, the novelization makes it clear that Windu was really struggling and says that Palpatine's lightening was too strong for him. He could not have held on much longer. Its even doubtful Palps was using his full strength, and honestly, he had so many opportunities to just kill Windu before that. He's also the epitome of the evil mastermind. Sure he had a backup plan or two that didn't hinge on Anakin's intervention.

Most likely would have been confusion in the ranks of the clones. The ones who didn't obey the order would take the gunning down of the Jedi as an act of treason while the ones who did execute Order 66 would think "insubordination".

Cody Rex070 The clones whose inhibitor chips malfunctioned would either be frozen in confusion or fire on their comrades in defence of their Jedi. The Order 66 clones would then see their fellow clones as traitors and fire on them. The whole clone army would have malfunctioned and the Jedi who survived for even a minute would be able to take advantage and escape to safety.

The few Cone Wars novels I read, Anakin was always off Coruscant. Most of the time the writers don't shove the Force Tricks right into your's the readers face. In one novel when Anakin was 15 years old, he was stress out over something or another. Palpatine pored him a water down brandy cause politicians like a good drink but they still want to keep their wits. So Palpatine was explaining the facts of life to Anakin, Kenobie, and a few other people. Used the right word phrase to make them relax. Kenobie compliment Palpatine for his diplomacy skills. Palpa waves his hand holding his brandy and his response the writer/ printer for the sentence letter shifted into a slant print. And Follow by Palpatine thinking to himself, " All to easy..." Everyone at my game shop notice, or said Palpatine just pulled a Mind Trick/ Affect Minds force skill on Kenobie and everyone in the room. a.) classic Star Wars TESB: Vader said," All to easy.." b.) The hand wave, and others agree with him on what he said. Honestly Palpa just gave them some that they could not disagree with. c.) when the text of the letters shift on the page, something Is going on there. d.) From the EU novels over 20 years, most of the writers wrote in a way you nearly had to " read in between the lines of dialog." The Thrawn trilogy gave written clues about the plot on how Thrawn was setting everyone up the best he could. The big revelation in book three left readers in doubt that the writer was just " pulling a rabbit out of his @zz," Then you realize the plot final/ set ups were being recap from the first book. Anakin, in his heart, is a kind person. He'd likely take Farmer Lars, Owen, and Beru along with Shmi. It'd definitely lead to an interesting dynamic of raising Luke and Leia with their uncle there to watch them when Anakin had to be a badass Jedi Knight.

The Library, I agree. I don't think she would have gone without her family. I think that would have changed Anakin for the broad well. He would have had a loving father and brother (and possibly sister-in-law). Kind of odd that it wasn't touched on in the video. That would be big issue. Would the Jedi have even allowed for him to bring his mommy back home?

Shmi would be fully aware of how worried Anakin was about her safety. There was no guarantee that another group of Tusken Raiders would show up to grab her again. She'd go with him to make sure his mind was at ease. There's truth in what is said in part of this fan fiction. More specifically, Anakin talking to his mother about what was bothering him. A problem is only, truly, serious when not even the parents can get someone to open up about it.

My exact thought watching this. Others have made good comments too, but I am disappointed the video didn't mention Shmi's connection with her husband and other son. At the very least, Shmi would hesitate in leaving them behind. At the most, she would insist the whole Lars family come with her.
