What if Anakin Skywalker was Born in the Old Republic? 

Hey guys, I haven't played the old republic games but only read all the books so I don't think I've gone in depth as I could have. I will be playing both KOTOR in November, and do a remake of this video. Let me know what you would like to see in that!

I like that Darth Malgus, the Darth Vader of the Old Republic is basically the Sith Obi-Wan Kenobi to Anakin in this timeline.

I would like to see a light side version of this. Darth Vader of course takes over the galaxy, with a master like that. I think you could do a lot more if he were discovered and trained by the jedi.

Dude, this is one badass story compared to the other stories out there. This is probably one of my favorite AUs of all time.

As others have said, it would be interesting for an alternative story consisting of the Old Republic Jedi finding Anakin instead of the Sith.

Also personally, I feel Anakin would’ve betrayed Malgus and killed him at some point, it’s just how the Sith do things. Also, it’d be crazy to see a version of this with Palpatine. Palpatine would’ve been literally unstoppable if he had access to the Old Republic era Sith knowledge and no Sith could’ve stood against him

An interesting story could be "What if Revan woke up from stasis during the prequels"

That was amazing! Great work! I would like to see a "What if Anakin lived during the Mandalorian wars!" Would he had joined Revan? Would he had fallen? Or understood Revans true intentions? And would Meetra Suurik might had be a love interresst for Anakin? So many ideas! And...befor i forgett...when do you plan a part 2 for "What if padme was a Sith lord"?

A second part to this could potentially be a What If but for Luke and Leia in the Old Republic

What if Anakin had been born the same time as Palpatin? What if Plagues took both as apprentices. Trained them in secret from one another until the moment was right to put them against one another. Both in their prime both unspoiled by injury both ready to be the next lord of the Sith!

You should do another version of this, where Anakin was found by the Jedi instead of the Sith. Basically, insert Anakin as the main character of the Jedi Knight storyline. I would reccomend watching some playthroughs of the Jedi Knight storyline to know the story.

Anakin had the potential to be twice as powerful as Darth Sidious so his power would be unrivalled even against Darth Vitiate. Anakin’s pride and arrogance might get the better of him just like in Revenge of the Sith but with a teacher like Malgus it’s likely that he would learn to control it

Very very cool Video but could you also do a "Light side" version of What if Anakin Skywalker was Born in the Old Republic?

This was awesome because if Anakin reached his true potential he would have no rival in the galaxy.

The only thing I would change is I would have be discovered by the Jedi first, would become a Knight, and then turn. Possibly after facing Malgus in battle multiple times. By the time he finally joins the Sith, he's famous throughout the republic as a war hero, and infamous throughout the empire as one of the strongest Jedi. Malgus eventually turns him, then comenses the rest of your story. As a side note: I think Windu would have become a Sith in the Old Republic era too. Possibly even Qui-Gon.

He would be such as massive threat that a party of Heroic OC's would have to intervene to oppose him.

My favorite Star Wars character (Anakin) mentored by my 3rd favorite Star Wars character is exactly what I needed. I wonder how Padme would fit into this timeline. I imagine her being an Imperial Moff that Malgus tries to kill to push Anakin into the perfect Sith. This is the wedge that drives trusted master and apprentice apart.

Honestly this has more potential and makes more sense than the fate anakin originally had. The jedi and their whole suppressing emotions and essentially acting droid like is such a major flaw that its no wonder anakin had so many issues with them. Anakin would truly have been better off being sith from the start and being born during the old republic era. He had so much potential that was squandered on the the prequel and original trilogies.

i feel like the jedi would have found anakin if he was born in the high republic and his training would have been allowed much easier than in the clone wars anakin would have even become a master before he reach his 20

Anakin Skywalker was born in the old republic, though they simply called it the Republic. It wasn't until the formation of the New Republic that it became the ruling body before the empire became known as the Old Republic. What if Anakin was born 4,000 years before the fall of the Old Republic or born before the Ruusan reformations ?

Amazing story bro 😎 also loved the fact you kept Anakin and Malgus bromance going till the end instead of Malgus growing jealous of Anakin power (also purple lightsaber Vader for the win 😈) As for other ideas , how about what if Anakin had a twin brother/sister ? We could see the concept of force dyad of the new movies mixed into this : two chosen one , one for the Sith and one for the Jedi

i like what you did here, its not perfect but it is interesting. I don't really think Anakin could have defeated Valkorian 1 on 1 though considering how many people on both sides had to join forces to defeat him in the SWTOR story (since arcann was mentioned i assume you were using valkorian in the story since vitiate never met him before transferring to valkorian's body). maybe in valkorian's previous form as vitiate this more powerful version of anakin could have defeated him, before vitiate increased in power and transferred to valkorian's form. i say this because there's a pretty big gap between valkorian's power and the next most powerful character in SW (which most consider sidious to be in the #2 spot)... (of course this more powerful version of anakin still would probably have been able to defeat sidious, considering he did so as vader even if he wasn't exactly at full strength).
