Turning the Zenkai boost into this torture device was a great touch. I can envision how Freiza would initially be gleeful as he crippled a saiyan before growing angrier and crueller over time. There might have been times where Nappa was thankful for a “swift execution” wherein Freiza just blasted him through the chest without a fight - meaning his fighting spirit had been broken.

Poor Nappa. He sufered what Tagoma suffered in Super. or maybe worse. at least tagoma was spared

This is a strange and interesting one. I feel like I'm not certain that Bardock, Casaba, and Vegeta would abide by the merely "freeing" the planets of Frieza's control. I feel like they would be far more focused on revenge, survival, and getting strong enough to do so. (Which they're not... yet). Also I'm halfway confused as to why Goku, Vegeta, or one of the other Saiyans (Or other alien races they've picked up through the interveening months/years) haven't asked Bulma if 10G's was the highest her gravity machine could go...

Alright you got me. This has been my favorite what if series you've made thus far and this may be my favorite one in the series.. I shall now rather impatiently wait for the next lol

Could be fun if they break through to Nappa, at least enough that he snaps and turns on Freeza, attempting to blow himself and the emperor up in a suicidal frenzy. Because Nappa is pretty close to Freeza's base form in power, and the combination of the self-destruction attack, it could leave Freeza in a state that forces him to jump into his third or even fourth/true form to recover (only just barely given the severity of Nappa's suicide attack), giving Bardock and the rest of the saiyans a window of hope that they could topple Freeza at that very moment. Obviously, it'll still require a Super Saiyan (or two or three) to really do the job, but I think that could be a fun way to end the tragic fate of this story's Nappa; a battered and worn beast that lashes out at its master in sad turn of events.

Nappa got an upgrade! I honestly didn't think Freeza would have that much patience...

My thoughts on how to beat Nappa... don’t. If the goal is the communications room behind him then fire a bending Kamehameha at him, let his overconfidence do the work for you he won’t budge, bend it around him and threw the door, destroy the array.

That’s interesting. If memory serves, Goku was pushing 300,000 in his base when he transformed into Super Saiyan in the original continuity. And from the way you talk about him being substantially stronger than Vegeta, who’s over 100k, Goku probably isn’t far from that figure now. All that said, if Nappa’s pushing half a million now with no power ups whatsoever, he’d be a frightfully strong Super Saiyan, even more so if he gets another zenkai sometime in this story. The only thing saving them currently is likely Nappa’s broken mind, since it sounds like he’s more or less completely dissociated at this point from trauma. If that changes and he suddenly finds his rage again... hoo boy, that’s going to be a bad time. Not even SSJ Goku would be able to save them, then. It does bring up the interesting question of how zenkais work. There seems to be some kind of diminishing returns with it in that seems to make it less useful beyond a certain level. The subject barely even comes up again after Namek even though you see Saiyans get pretty grievously injured, most particularly Future Gohan, who I have a hard time believing that he wouldn’t have gotten enough zenkais by the time of the History of Trunks special to whomp the androids on his own (though now that I think of it, has it ever been said that anyone besides full blooded Saiyans (and Cell) get Zenkais?). In fact, the only time I think zenkais came up post-Namek is with Super Perfect Cell. And he literally had to blow himself up to get a boost that was enough to provide substantial gains. I actually doubt the same trick would have been nearly as effective if used again.

For your next video in this story I gave you a new name for this United group of Saiyans ,Z Fighters, Resistance Fighters, and Defectors with Goku and Vegeta's families and friends: The Remnant Saiyan Confederacy (RSC). A new Dragonball faction that is Waging War against the Frieza Empire ,and later soon Cooler's Armoured Force.

Holy shite. This only gets deeper and deeper. Side note: I totally agree with "That Boy Ain't Right' that it would be cool (no pun intended) to see Cooler appear in the story somewhere. Maybe to help the saiyans just so he can undermine his brother.

This is probably my favourite what if, and I can just feel all the time and effort put into this, there is mush that can be done but so much that can go wrong, everytime I see another episode I am more than happy and as always you never fail the give us an amazing storyline.

This might be the best What If Episode you have.

The lack of Z Fighters and Ginyu Force in this story only serves to convince me that they have their own conflict out-of-focus from the rest of the story, possibly saving the Saiyan resistance battling on another planet. Best filler arc ever!

The Bojack Unbound Abridged movie may be cancelled, but we still have Masako's What-ifs.

Here's an interesting what-if. What if King Cold survived? What I mean is what if Goku spared Cold but he was stuck on Earth. Cold had a lot of potential and I felt that it was wasted with what Z did for him. If he survived for the Cell Saga, he could have changed the story a lot. I believe that you could do something really creative with Cold. Also, great job on this video.

This is my prediction for the end: he saw the suffering of the saiyans, he can't change fate. Probably not tho

I have a feeling that Vegeta being the way he is is going to want the Saiyans to do to him what Freeza did to Nappa, to close up and maybe even surpass the power gap.

Maseko it is about time that the z fighters resort to the dragon balls on earth and figure out something called as the planet namek and its dragon being stronger than shenron. Although the story must include krillin's demise as it does in the original which in turn proves the clairvoyance to be more and more accurate
