Like grandfather, like father, like eldest son. After Bardock’s journey of reflection he’s gone through, Bardock may recall these memories and for once, and realize he still has time to change and be a better father to Kakarot and Raditz. One not reeking of tobacco and cheap booze and supportive of both his sons’ growth in both Saiyan power and Earthling techniques.

Don’t mind all these people who say you’re going too slow. the reason I believe you make the best what if’s, is the details you add and how you make yours more of an actual story than “goku stronger” and no actual changes are made. All in all keep doing what you do best!

Plus Ultra tells true stories with this what ifs and I just love it. It feels like good fleshed out alternatives to the main story we know. And the worlds feel realized, not just ideas that are left to be improved upon.

I ain't gone lie. I was a little disappointed to get this because we last left off on a cliffhanger. But this was heat, got me excited for the future, and pushed my love of this version of Bardock even further. He broke the cycle and continues to try and break it. Love it

This was awesome! I really loved the dive into Bardock's past seeing a bit of what made him the man he is. If you're going to continue these side stories for this what if might it be possible we might get an episode for Gine and see her past and things from her perspective?

Loved this .5 makes me excited for the possible return of an “Uncle Turles” would be neat if he could somehow join the crew but even if he is just an antagonist, I’m excited for the impact it’d have on the family.

I enjoyed this flashback in showing off the Saiyan Society back when Bardock was a kid, and where Bardock get his drinking habit from unfortunately. 😕 Turles been Bardock's half-brother was a surprising cool idea. Plus it set Turles up for coming back back into the story later with having access to the Tree of Might fruit. 👍 Anyways another really good part, and will check out the next part.

Friend, Turles doesn't exist. I wouldn't care either way just cause its a non canon character with a non canon back story that can be changed as needed if a story could benefit from his inclusion lol

It's interesting seeing Bardock's past and how his relationship with Turles mirrored Raditz and Kakarot's here. I'm looking forward to Turles showing up and facing his brother and nephews in the future.
