This is just my opinion, but even having this subject matter brought up is bewildering to me. First; I am a B.P. supporter and even with all of B.P.'s past baggage I am glad The University of Arkansas football team hired B.P. as there offensive coordinator. Having said this it appears that most Razorback football supporters don't mind sharing their thoughts on wanting Coach Pitt out as early as October, and hoping Coach Pittman fails record wise so B.P. can be be hired as the interim football coach to lead this 2024 football team. WHY? For that to even be a consideration the Razorbacks would have to be struggling and off to a bad start. Who cheers for that? I want success. I don't want to hope that the Razorbacks do bad just so B.P. could potentially be asked to take on the head coaching responsibilities. The goal is to have B.P. be the great offensive minded coach he is and have Coach Pittman succeed as well, . I understand the Razorbacks can't continually have 4,5, and 6 win seasons. Improvement is imperative. I just don't know why we cheer for a coach to fail because that means another season has gone down the drain. I like Coach Pitt, he loves Arkansas and he wants to win just as bad as the next man. Here's hoping that Coach Pitt is successful this upcoming season and that Coach Petrino plays a big part in that success; that means everyone is doing the job they are intended to and everyone can enjoy the season.

I think Pittman and Petrino will have a good relationship. Sam is giving him free reign on the offense. It will be about the chemistry between those two and winning of course. Winning cures everything. WOO PIG!

So I hear a lot of talk abt how Pittman missing on all the top rated instate kids, but if I was a prospect I would never go to my home state school when the only thing you see and hear is negative! Freaking season hasn’t even started and they already talk abt him being replaced, he game to Arkansas as a first time head coach from being an o line coach for so long. It’s called a learning curve and nobody is willing to take that into acct.

I like coach Pittman I believe he's as honest as a coach can possibly be I also believe petrino is exactly where he is at his best but he would take the head coach job if offered.

The reality is we have to have a solid amount of NIL money flow in order to land good players. Our staff has champagne needs on a Keystone lite budget...and it's just not going to get it done. Petrino may pull a rabbit out of the hat or it may go down in flames. Who knows. Glad he's back where he belongs though.

I am Bobby's age. He might just enjoy being OC and not have the stress of being head coach. I could see him thinking " let them put hate signs in Sam's yard if we lose."

Sam P still there is a testament to indecision of the guys with the keys to Arkansas athletics. But after coach Cal's hire, as a fan since 1949, I will cut the Hog management some slack. Hire a successful black coach. Most of your team is black, and just watch the success of Prime Time/Colorado this year!
