@@josuerivera8015 Hahah I agree. Akira did Chi-Chi dirty by making her a housewife. She deserves far more love than Bulma. I suppose he has his reasons aside from prejudice, however. Consider this: Bulma had far more screentime in the earlier Dragon Ball. For all we know he didnt really consider her (It WAS only puppy love when she met Goku) but decided Goku needed a mate and thus she was shoehorned in. I would consider it more fixation on his adventure, as is what Dragon Ball is about genre-wise, rather than building a fundamentally stable relationship. Also, it matches: Goku is ditzy and Chi-Chi is persistent so the marriage thing and how they handled it makes sense.

Also, Id like to point out that developing Goku, Chi-Chi, AND Bulma would be a hard undertaking for a manga artist who has a very strict schedule, not to mention Krillin and the Tien redemption arc. I think it was stress and time constraint

@@josuerivera8015 Even were that true, his descriminations, Dragon Ball took place a long time ago and in Japan where sexism is far more prevalent, especially of that time. Its not me defending his past actions but its keen to note that who he was is not who he is. Personally, I disagree with the idea that he discriminated against women in his work. He gave Android 18 a dominant role. She even wooped Vegeta's ass and is a dominant woman at that.

Great potential if the Androids and Gero still emerge as enemies in this timeline. Bulma’s bigger role on the frontline of fighting and Capsule Corp being the more blatant beneficiary of Red Ribbon’s downfall that we’ve gleaned here as the story is told more from her point of view provides ample case that Bulma, and not just Goku, might be a specific target of Gero’s ire and vengeance. In canon, Gero’s survival and the creation of the Androids is addressed briefly and matter of factly as Goku simply being negligent, but what’s done is done. Iron Bulma on the other hand might blame herself, and overcompensate a la Tony Stark. Assuming she survives in the future, she may even go back in time to a different, earlier point. Thus far, she’s shown to be less reliant on Goku, so while she’d of course still want to prevent ills like Goku’s heart virus not all of her eggs are in one basket. She also has yet to exhibit the Saiyan/Martial artist’s code of letting the enemy come to you and fight only when provoked. A future Bulma could definitely attempt to bring the fight to Gero’s doorstep at whatever point in time she’d feel she’d have the best chances of victory. The woman who uses godly, magical Dragon Balls as bingo party favors, and reality altering power to age more gracefully definitely isn’t against using the Scott Evil method of time traveling back and ambushing someone while they’re on the toilet. Could be a fun, but in-theme monkey wrench to throw that has consequences for the timeline extending beyond just the bookends of the Android-Cell sagas.

Imagine the impact of that in the Black Goku saga. You have 2 mecha bulmas + future trunks, goku and vegeta Or even in the tournament of power. By that point bulma could probably rival android 18's power. Who needs tien now?

Perhaps Dr. Gero will even spy on her, getting inspired to start working on that tech sooner, resulting in a stronger version than the original timeline.

That sounds kinda fun. Given Black somewhat inherited Goku's love of getting stronger and fighting from his body, it could stand to reason a "Vegeta Black" could inherit Vegeta's independence and extreme self-importance, perhaps leading to more conflict between the two Zamasus. A Nappa-esque betrayal, maybe.

The thing is that the suit can only increase someone's power so much. A normal human with a base power in the single digits would never be able to operate a suit in the hundreds.

Honestly it annoyed me that they made Frost secretly evil in the original canon. Like he's bound to be evil just because he's of the same species as Freeza, really? Speciesism? I thought we were past that considering the difference between King Piccolo and other Namekians, and all the stuff with the Saiyans.
