Majin Buu's abilities are too underrated. - He can actually revive a dead creature. - He can turn anyone into a candy. - He can do a sneak attack and absorb fighters who are even stronger than him. - He can regenerate and only super strong attacks can kill him. - He can heal his teammates infinite times.

Buu wouldn’t be kicked out because he can always leave a piece of himself under a rock/rubbles

I really wanted Buu in ToP over Frieza, so I loved how this What-If tried to imagine the outcome of the events with him there.

I'm glad I've found this video, because I wanted to see Majin buu in the tournament. I was so pissed, and agitated that they kept having buu fall asleep before every fight.

What if universe 7 team was: Goku Vegeta Gohan Piccolo Frieza Android 17 Android 18 Buu (replacing krillin) Future trunks (replacing master roshi) And broly(replacing tien) Would they easily win?

Buu is super underrated after his saga ends, given the abilities he has are absurdly OP. I think they didn't put him in the tournament because it would be a walk in a park for our universe, or it would not make sens at all. Buu can heal others, regenerate himself without effort, turn infinite numbers of beings into candies and so on. He probably has god ki, because he absorbed gods before. He was before buu saga ending the strongest being in the universe, and probably ALL universes, because he defeated gods, and at that time Beerus was asleep. In the tournament he would be able to defeat whole teams at once turning everyone weaker than him into candy and eat him, becoming stronger and stronger. The only reason for buu to stay at his power level is that he was not given more powerfull beings to eat, well the tournament is a perfect place for him to grow exponentially! And even if he had any problem to defeat someone, he would learn during the fight. His magic powers allow him to learn all moves and abilities during the fight. Imagine he learned to scale his body from trio the danger, increase his mass and temperature from that metal guy. Bu is also impossible to be thrown out of the arena because he is sticky, and he can split and stretch his body. I think the scenario would look something like this: at the start buu would turn universe 9 into candies and eat them, immensly growing in strenght. Then he would proceed to absorb other enemies as his teammates fight with the stronger ones, occasionally helping them to recover. He would surely help Master Roshi, healing him and helping with opponents with unusual powers, as he could mirror and deflect them. Then when buu grows in strenght enough he would go battle the real deals, first he could take dyspo out, as Buu is a perfect counter for him, he has whole arsenal to slow down a fast guy like this. He would then ofc absorb him. Then he could deal with HIT, as HIT's time stop abilities would not make much harm, as HIT only punches hard in vital spots, which Buu does not even have, and even if HIT rips Buu apart, he will regenerate. Buu then would quickly learn timestop, which would be a GINORMOUS OP upgrade for him. Imagine Buu turning opponents in candies or absorb them in 0 time, while they can not dodge or do anything. The rest of the tournament would be a walk in a park for Buu up to Kefla, Toppo and Jiren ofc. With the power Buu already absorbed from all foes weaker then our top of the top warriors, his help would make those next fights much much easier. Honestly if Buu managed to absorb only 1/5 of tournament contestants, he would gain so much power that he would be probably stronger than GoD, and Goku UI, well if not then after Goku turns UI Buu would learn it. And if they would still struggle somehow against Jiren, they could even use stategy and let Buu absorb Goku, Vegeta, androids, which would DEFINETELY make him stronger than Gods of Destruction, even Beerus, and probably somewhere near Angels level. This Buu could blow Jiren from the ring with his breath only. Seriously Buu is an OP being made to kill gods and grow stronger with limitless potentiall just like Goku. He is also like a virus, and if he enters environment like the turnament, where he can grow, oh boy, that would unleash a monster the multiverse has never seen.

Buu is the healer: And just like in dungeon quest, healer always is the best

1. Can heal other people with seemingly no exhaust in Buu’s part 2. Can turn into mist(?) and float through the air to avoid elimination similar to when he was final explosion’d 3. Can absorb other contestants as it does not technically kill them 4. Can use transmutation 5. Can stretch and otherwise manipulate his body for purposes of stage recovery or to bind enemies

I have an idea: What if Goten and Trunks were in the Tournament of Power? They were too inexperienced for it in canon, but if Vegeta and/or Goku trained them in the Time Chamber to prepare them for it, they could have a better chance of doing somewhat well in the Tournament of Power.

I still got a feeling that Frieza’s troops would still gather the dragon balls like in the broly movie, except to revive frieza.

Surely Buu wouldn’t be aloud to heal under the tournament rules. They said no healing items and I’m pretty confident Zeno would have realised how unfair it makes the fights after it’s used once or twice and since it would take a lot of risk out of the fights, and from their perspective, a lot of the fun. I’m really confident they would forbid that. Great vid otherwise though.

I know some versions of Buu could teleport but could fat Buu? If so, that's a pretty huge game changer when it comes to Buu eliminating people even outside of his weight class. It also keeps him in the fight for as long as he's basically conscious and able to react fast enough after going over the edge.

" and lets say U6 seeing as they teamed a lot.. allow themselves to be adsorb too.. now u have all buus abilities.. plus super duper super saying blue vegeta.. ultra instinct goku.. with time stop from hit.. and piccolo/17's brain power.. freezia cunning.. kale and cauliflas extraordinary ability to adapt.. plus beserket.. plus a bald head with still no nose... etc etc.. boi.. U6/U7 merged buu would wreck both full power jiren and toppo and everyone else at the same time... and not lose any energy at all.. and be 100% health all times.. while nearly impossible to get thrown out cause he is just fking elastic and stretchy.. once the ring is cleared.. since buu is only one person.. he wins and gets a wish.. but it means there are still 10 u6 fighers and 9 u7 fighers in him not dead or eliminated.. its technically a draw butt still a single fighter... so its a loop whole so they cant all be erased for a draw.. cause its a single fighter technically butt at the same time 20 fighter.. 10 from each u6 and u7.. easy... let me get the script.. i need to make changes.. my only concern is buu's wish.. butt u have 17/piccolo and all the other fighters influence it... so im not actually worried.. realistically speaking... why would u not use this tactic first and foremost.. or to keep it interesting ... and let it play out as it did.. we could just have buu break off some parts and attach to each of the U7 fighters.. U6 too.. and have that act as a "latch" to keep pulling themselves into the ring should they get knocked out... like there are some many ways buu technically would be a game changer.. jsut because of what he is...

I also think we take into account that Buu still has a desire to take out or kill opponents. His patients is short so it’s possible he would have attempted to kill a strong opponent like Dyspo because his speed would’ve annoyed Buu.

Here’s a real good What If for you to do: “What If Both Buu and Broly were in the Tournament of Power?”

Ultra Instinct seems to require Goku being completely maxed out, fatigued, and possibly even knocked out for him to use. If Goku kept getting restored back to full health, and strength, than it might have actually made it much more likely for Goku to lose to Jiren.

This is awesome man. I would however, still keep God of Destruction Toppo and keep it to where Vegeta still eliminates him. But, because Vegeta has been healed and we most likely got a few zenkais, I would like to see him body Toppo after Toppo goes and bodies Gohan, Buu, and 17.

Even though Goku eliminated Jiren, how cool would it have been to see Goku and Gohan team up to eliminate Jiren the same way Goku and Frieza do in episode 131, an awesome father-son elimination.

This is a pretty shit what if. Your other what ifs were great but there's a lot of things that aren't well thought out. 1. Goku would not need UI Omen II because he would be able to handle Kefla if he could use full power SSB. 2. The thought of Tien and Muten Roshi taking down Frost is appalling. Frost is smart, he'd have reflected the Mafuba onto Tien and would've proceeded to eliminate both Tien and Roshi since even if Roshi managed to free Tien they both would be too tired to defeat Frost. 3. Someone would've noticed Buu healing U7 fighters earlier than literally the final boss of the tournament. More than that, Dyspo was too fast for Golden Frieza in his light speed mode and required both Frieza and Gohan to eliminate. No way Buu would be able to turn him into candy that easily, if at all since Dyspo is also way stronger than Buu. I believe Buu would be eliminated here, with 17 and Gohan having to face Dyspo and Toppo. 4. Even if Buu defeated Dyspo, Toppo would most definitely use his Hakaishin powers earlier than before knowing his universe is at stake and knowing he can't hold up against 3 fighters like that. No one would be able to eliminate him that easily, and remember, Golden Frieza is stronger than Gohan. I'm sure a depleted Toppo would still put up a great fight for Gohan. 5. Even if Toppo was eliminated like you said, Jiren would not forget how to count ffs. He'd know U7 has 5 fighters left not 4 this is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard wtf
