Batman= you ether die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. Akira Toriyama= you ether die a villain or live long enough to see yourself become a hero.
After Hercule lost he just said to the media "This is my new prodigy! His code name is 21, and he is now your new World Martial Arts Champion!'' (Yeah, that'll do it.)
It makes sense he's mr. Satan and his students are demon monsters learning to be powerful in the light of good. Buu and 21 probably would give rise to fit buu a lot faster than the tournament of power. Reason being I feel mr Satan would have buu and 21 do shows so no one challenges mr Satan.
18: No matter what you do, you will always be a monster 21: Going by your logic, you would be considered a monster as well since the future you and 17 killed everyone on the planet just for fun but here you are, forgiven and trusted because your circumstances turned you good. However, when I get the same treatment, you two still think I'm the bad guy. I'm not the cell that tortured you and 17! I'm android 21 and I'm my own person!
21's reaction to Mr. Satan's lack of power was actually hilarious, and now i kinda want that to happen in canon (which unfortunately is probably never).
The ultimate sacrifice of the Androids. In order to try and stop buu, 17 and 18 ask 21 to absorb them, basically sacrificing eaches individual self's to create a being capable of fighting buu. Vegeta and Goku did the same thing. Maybe we can even get a Gotenks and perfect cell fusion with the earrings, since Gotenks would obviously have a strong bond with perfect 21. That would be some badass fan art.
Would that work, though? Sure, it would unlock the hidden potential of Android 21's Imperfect form, however would it unlock the hidden potential for his other forms as well, or would it only apply to his Imperfect form?
@@decimation9780 I feel like it would... perfect cell is his ultimate potential the make-up is already in his DNA he just needs the Android's components so that his perfect cell traits can be expressed. In my theory Elder Kai could unlock that potential without the components of the androids leading to the fullest expression of his DNA resulting in a transformation/power boost....but it's just a theory obviously
@@PoeticKing21 I would think no, as he can only change his forms by absorbing other entities, not drinking them, but absorbing them. Sure, these games aren’t canon, however it does bring up the interesting point of Cell only being able to change his form depending on who he’s absorbed, with 17&18 giving him his most notable boosts in power as well as his infamous handsome appearance. However I would consider the different forms to have differing levels of potential, as we saw that when Cell was destroyed and came back to life, he was Super Perfect Cell, or Solar Cell as Raging Blast has called the form in the English version. So I would say that each form has a differing level of inherent potential, and then a new level of potential with each subsequent change in form.
Imagine Future Trunks seeing cell again. Trunks:I-is that me playing with cell?? Krillin why is the android here?? What happened?? I have so many questions!
AngelusKnight I really love this idea it deserves more likes. But were we ever able to see what Young roshi was capable of at any point in Dragon Ball history?
@@Leon_Silverblood Yes he got the water from korin after 3 years. So he has effort and a level of strengh that can be useful if highlighted early on in the series.
i disagree, a younger (still immortal) roshi would have the physical constitution to train harder allowing him to increase his raw power. Consider the gains he made for the tournament of power in his aged state. Making clever use of his arsenal of abilities Roshi punched far above his own weight. Incorporate a younger physical form into his training and he could easily be the most powerful human on earth. Furthermore Roshi's decision to train in secret may come to him alot sooner if he considered the benefits of rejuvenation meaning he may decide to reveal his true power a lot earlier in the timeline than in DBS series. I wont entertain comparisons to Goku or Vegeta level characters as we all know better. lol
For some reason, this what if hits me in the feels unlike any other - #21's child-like naivety and desire to fit in is just heartbreaking. What if Goku married Bulma is still the most interesting for me but man this is excellent work, Masako. Don't go away for too long.
Masako, you really have a knack for making incredible stories from simple premises. This story is surprisingly good and compelling. Now I kinda wish you were a writer on Super.
Matthew Cavner ( Cells voice) And they have Cat God too!! I wanna pet the kittie god!! Hey guys do you think he'll chase a light like all the other cats do on MortalTube? Oh even better Catnip! No wait a Box! Oh a ball of yarn too! Weiss: I don't think Lord Beerus would like any of those things, In fact he may even try to destroy you.. Beerus: Did someone say catnip and a box? WEISS BRING ME THOSE NOW!! If I sits I fit.
OOOOOOOH I HAVE AN IDEA When super Buu (or fat buu) Shows up, you should let Cell gain the androids trust enough to where they let Cell absorb them to become a good perfect Cell to combat against Buu. And after the fight he can release the androids. And I believe he can cause he spit up 18 in the Cell saga. BOOM Edit: thanks for all the likes
Honestly other than how revolting and possibly invasive such a process might be there isn't much of a reason to not do it. I mean we saw that Cell could absorb the androids and then spit them back out while still keeping his Perfect form afterwards (even if he lost a bit of power). Alternatively there is always the Dragon ball excuse. Wish Cell to be perfect, wish back the androids if he does absorb them. Bulma could just make a few power cores of what ever super engine material powers the Androids that Cell needs.
I think that for Cell to even stand a chance in the upcoming fights he needs to see if Bulma can make some sort of device to artificially give him his semiperfect form if not perfect form AND he'll need some time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
That's what super perfect cell is, he does what's called forced adaptation (AFTER FINAL FORM) Meaning he transforms further depending on Zenkai boosts received. Like after he self destructed and came back perfect again even though he was imperfect durring his "suicide" Stint
Christopher dun Thats... Not possible, he still needs to eat 17 and 18 to transform, and the only reason Cell became perfect again is because his cells remembers 17 and 18's "taste"
@@Archadianite I know I was just explaining about why he doesn't use traditional transformations like ssj or namakian growth and or shell shedding like arcosians (frieza) Android 21 like you stated would have to absorb 17_18 to transform initially. (:
maybe he will get the other transformations like having some frieza cells to atleast do it like that since they took the negative parts of the dna so i bet that stuff would still be in there ready to be tapped into
I got another crazy "What If" *AHEM* What if all Goku's family Bardock, Gine, Raditz, and Goku all survived. This what if would start with Raditz instead of being sent to another world would be delayed or still be on Vegeta during the time of frieza's return. The story would be fairly similar to the Gine and Goku what if with the inclusion of Raditz. Bardock would tell Gine to run away while he goes to get help from *any* Saiyans that would listen to him(the Saiyans in the bar already showed that *nobody* would listen to him) and try to fight Freeza, but Gine would argue with him about deciding to stay behind. She would try to reason with him to abandon his pride and to run away with her off planet and would tell him that he should be around to raise his sons and see them grow up. Bardock and Gine were already "Odd" Saiyans from the start since they had a loving relationship and were married Bardock considers this and decides this to be the correct choice and that's where our story starts off. 2
cell has namekian cells of both piccolo and his father, so since he is technically a namekian couldn't he just fuse with piccolo the old fashioned way like nail did
I is human then 21 would be gone. Piccolo could have power on par with SSJ3, but no 21. It’d be an interesting way to end this What If, but I think people would want this 21 in the tournament of power.
Looking at how DB Fusions handles this stuff, it'd be Piccolo 21. Similarly, Android fusions would just combine the number, e.g. 1718 (pronounced "seventeen-eighteen")
Outstanding stuff man. I saw the 18 fight coming a mile away, and it *still* hit me hard. Cell/21 saving her was a fantastic opportunity to prove himself to her. That's an amazing subplot to have amidst all the Majin stuff. Great to have 18 and 17 around more in general too. Oh and not to mention 21 getting angry at Dabura for turning his master to stone!! Just all the emotional showdowns in this episode lol! I can see and hear that fight vividly.
How cool would it be if Android 21 and a way to try to beat buu came to an agreement with 18 and 17 to let him absorb down so he could reach his perfect form and fight on the level of buu
They'd have to be REALLY desperate to try that. Also: 21: "Alright, let's do it! .......um, HOW do I absorb you?" He probably has no idea his tail can do that.
@@Thoralmir I mean if they were really that desperate then Bulma could probably tell him I'm pretty sure she knows more about him then he knows about himself
Horrifyingly, Buu would probably end up absorbing 21 from the inside out because you have to remember that Buu is a magical creature where as Cell is a scientific creation. Buu is likely far stronger anyway you look at it.
Super takes place in between the majin buu saga and the end of z. So yes hes finished super but hes still got to cover the end of z when they go to the world marsial arts tournament with uub
Everyone would have died neither of them enjoy torture and playing with the enemy like frezia so as soon as the dragon balls are gone they'd blow up the planet
Thanks for keeping this one going, I really enjoyed it. The what ifs where a villain turns good are usually my favorites. Redemption being such a strong theme in these series, and is such a good message. I love the "anyone of them could have been a z-fighter" feel I get from your videos. Thanks again for what you do.
Masako, 2018: "It's not as unorthodox as 'What if Freeza turned good'. No, that ain't gonna happen." Masako, December 2019: "What if Freeza Turned Good?"
i love these series of what ifs. it really makes you think about the different actions they could of done in the series. keep it up and have a good day Masakox.
Matteo Carreri this sounds like a great idea but im really curious what he contribute? Was he included in the ability to grow stronger? Since hes a full android with zero organic makeup to him id love to see what masako could do with that
Freeza has become more neutral in the Kuriza storyline, which was a gag manga written by Toriyama himself. Would love to see a "What if Perfect Cell was in the ToP?"
Nicholas Snyder True, but I'd prefer Perfect Cell way more. Cell isn't as bad as most villains. He was really just doing it because he had fun fighting. But he did love seeing people in fear. There's no denying that Cell would be way more chill with joining U7, compared to how they convinced Freeza or any other villain that isn't down with fighting along Goku against strong enemies in a tournament! Cell would be interested in a different type of tournament. But 18 and 17 certainly wouldn't be happy. Though, if Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin could deal with the fact that Freeza is on the team, then the androids will be fine. But I could see Gohan being more unsettled. Sure, Freeza was a nightmare, but Gohan fought Cell way longer and Cell killed Android 16.
Layla109 he could get a head injury from one of the doctor’s experiments. My question is, how would Goku learn martial arts from a family a scientists?
@JJ R Yeah, that's possible. :) As for learning how to fight, I have a thought but it's a bit stretched. This might not be much to go off of, especially in the dub but remember when Bulma and Popo journeyed to the vacant Namek spaceship just before or in the beginning of the freeza Arc? Bulma was paranoid of being alone with Popo at first and threatened that she took jujitsu or something since she was eight when Popo made a slight glance (or something that put her off)? My thought process would be that Goku would probably receive some form of self defense classes, especially if he would be going on adventures with Bulma since i can't see him not wanting to go on a dragonball hunt. The Briefs i think, especially Bulma would want to be as best prepared as possible. Then this theory gets nuked when we know Bulma showed no signs of knowing how to fight in Dragonball. I guess i just wasted your time. Opsy. We could also use the "experiments gone wrong, accidents happen" approach as a way to indirectly tap into Goku's saiyan instincts. Maybe he accidentally trips an alarm or triggers a defensive action of one of the doctors robots that instantly causes Goku to show how keen his own defensive instincts are by reflexively dodging lasers or landing a crushing blow of rage onto one of the Briefs' machines, breaking it. Dr Briefs and Bulma could become curious and fascinated about the unnatural strength of such a small boy and may run some tests, perhaps finding out that he isn't human even earlier. That could prompt further testing and Goku himself would probably enjoy the combat testing over time as he grows addicted to the adrenaline of a fight as Goku does. I still think we'd see a very different Goku than what we know but still has the innate instinct and fulfillment towards fighting. Like i said, it's a stretch but conjecture is often fun.
I think someone else is doing that What If, up to part 5 and Goku's name is Boksa Briefs. That being said: I wouldn't object to Masako's interpretation of it

It would be cool for when majin buu becomes to strong for everyone that it eventually leads to android 17 and 18 letting cell absorb them, It would be cool to see perfect cell fight buu. He could eventually spit out the androids so everything in the end would be okay.
Interesting, so 18 might let him absorb her (temporary) to give 21 a huge power boost to fight equally with Boo. It would work just like Namekian fusion, by conscious absorption she could decide how much power he will get. I would like to see this scenario. :)
after cell recovers from a near death experience he should change form because the original cell became perfect again after losing 18 because of the saiyan cells
The reason that worked that way is because he'd already achieved perfect form and was unnaturally knocked back to his last form. 18 and 17 basically became a part of him and were like additional organs for lack of a better comparison. What happened was the equivalent of a kidney or a lung being knocked out of his body, and when he regenerated thanks to his Piccolo DNA his body remembered the functions 18 and 17 served so his body recreated a substitute that provided the same power. Basically he'd have to have achieved Perfect form before he can regenerate back to it.
I love this so... so... very much. 21 is just a perfect little cinnamon bun. I swear he just sounds like the most genuine guy.... he just wants to be loved!
What if this story came to a close in the tournament of power where during one of the times 17 is going against Jiren, likely around the time of his "sacrifice" he pulls 21 aside who would probably take Krillin's spot in this imagining and 17 basically says "This Jiren guy is a monster and if we lose then our entire universe will be destroyed. So believe me when I say that I wouldn't suggest this if I saw another way. In order to save you universe. You may have to absorb me." Which after a bit of coaxing 21 would and it would be Semi-perfect cell vs. Jiren.
zZSkyNinjaZz by the time that happened, she’ll be useless. Yamcha, Tien, and Chaotsu are all useless after Buu shows up due to scaling. That’s why they show her being The Great Saiyawoman/Saiyaman 2.
gameing hunter in that case no one but final form Frieza would be a threat, the z fighters separated would be much weaker since they would relay on fusion (sayian saga tiencha vs nappa would be a slaughter and should be even stronger then ginyu, if they let Vegeta survive we would see Vegito vs Frieza would would be semi difficult until he goes Ssj which would make Frieza a joke (note that Ssj Vegito in the nemek saga would be even above super perfect cell), Vegito would let cell reach his final form and then humiliate him before finishing him off, buu would be a joke, Vegito would be weaker but probably above his base self in z as Ssj and bog would go the same.
Amaan Tunio probably a dumb question but original broly? Or new broly? Cause either way theyd be screwed but if its current broly jesus christ theyd be screwed thered be no chance in hell
Masako loves his cliffhangers... And I love this episode! Still antsy for R&R episode 2, of course, but I have patience, and we're getting good content in the mean time.
Yes!!! Been so looking forward to the 2nd part since the first one. This is one of my favorite what ifs(,if not my favorite). When 18 was having that emotional breakdown,I felt that.
