I know some of you guys complained that you have trouble understanding the audio on the video I did on the Monsignor Zs channel, so I tried to improve it. Let me know if this one was easier to understand. Also, I should note that I misplaced some cities on the map. They are not relevant to the video nonetheless...
Awesome video, I really hope you do more of this kind of content in the future. And the audio was really well and better than last time, keep up the good work
Nice video Bulgarian empire mapping I really liked the videos and I really like your maps, it’s almost similar to Knowledgia and historymarche maps and nice video keep up the amazing work would you like some more alternate history ideas and real history ideas?
I would argue that the Normans would conquer Southern Italy from the Fatimids in Southern Italy, with the backing of the Pope and H.R.E. Why do you think they won't be able to? Like I am pretty sure a more central Italian power or maybe even the Pope would still invite them in.
In all fairness I think it's either the Normans or HRE itself. But I'd expect the latter one. HRE will be the one who conquered southern Italy with full backing of the pope. The result of it would be Capua and Speleto would be given to Papal State while the rest will be a member of HRE under dukedom/princedom and new republic will be formed. Definitely German culture will be more dominant in all Italy especially in southern Italy. Would be pretty interesting as a what if scenario
Hmm. If a Bulgarian tribe harassed the Eastern Roman Empire, what would have happened if all five tribes had repulsed the Khazars or descended to the Danube and started to fight with the Romans ?
That has a very little chance of happening, but if all sons of Kubrat except Bayan died in a battle or were poisoned, all Bulgarian tribes would have descended upon the Balkans as it is the nearest place to their homeland, which is attacked by Khazars. Then we would probably see the proto-Bulgarian culture completely dominating the Slavic ones.
Idea for a video: what if Bulgaria was a superpower (everything that could possibly go right for Bulgaria goes right) like they all came to the Balkan’s, no bad rulers, more success in the wars and more. I know that’s very hard and you can’t predict it perfectly but you can try. Do it with maps of course, it’s very interesting how big Bulgaria would be, it would be epic. There is a video called”what if Poland was a superpower” check it and good luck👌
If Bulgaria was a superpower it would be the only Balkan one ever closest we've gotten to that has been Byzantium later in its history and the Ottomans Now the Bulgarian Empire was a super power at its zenith but I believe you mean the 19th century or 20th WW1 WW2 that stuff well in that case it could be like the Austro Hungarian Empire a multi ethnic mess which won't be all that good
I don't wanna come out as aggressive but can you just tell him how would you put this alternate history how would it play out? Again not trying to be aggressive sorry if it comes out that way
@@rawka_7929 no you aren't aggressive actually i did in a separate comment i wrote that The krum dynasty would not ignore Bulgaria and would last longer
@@tatarkhan33 well guess that's the thing with History It could always go another route depends on who is the ruler as rulers are unique people So it could go the way you see it or the way he does
As always algerians trying to claim their neighbors history, the kutama berbers were simply mercenaries for the Fatimids, just like how the numidians are for hannibal, furthermore the land of the kutama tribe at the time were part of the Aghlabid Emirate of Ifriqiya therefore part of Tunisia
@@hamzahammami22 Read again the comment, and what history am I stealing? An empire created by an Arab from Iran with the help of a people that inhabited the region since before Aghlabids?
@@algerianchaouki5705 arabs from Iran ? The Fatimids are descendants of Fatima the daughter of the prophet Mohamed, but the origins of the ruling dynasty isn't that important, the capital and the center of the kingdom and/or empire is more important, and Tunisia was the center of the Fatimid caliphate for 70 years, and besides eastern Algeria was a core part of Tunisia until the ottomans era, it's not like the Kutama Berbers of that time would consider themselves algerian or from the central maghreb for that matter, they would've considered Ifriqiyian, and i have to apologize for coming out aggressively it's just that a lot of algerians like to claim the Fatimid caliphate as their own
He probably means Turkic but in Turkish there is no such word as Turkic because they are panTurkics. Turkic and Turk is not actually the same. Tbh countries like Kyrgyzstan Kazakhstan Uzbekistan are more Turkic than Turkey.
@@tatarkhan33 I wish we were 8m. Unfortunate times. Anyways in my opinion the Pechenegs or Cumans doing serious damage on Bulgarian land is beyond laughable. Their armies could probadly not win against Bulgar cavalty due to its experience and size let alone the best infantry in Europe aka the legions. Seems like this empire united doesnt really expand. Whole balkan could easily be taken and middle east will fall if 10l Bulgar light cavalry went to help the legions. The nomads there wouldnt be any better than us.
