full auto guns are high priced because of restrictions in the US making them basically collectors items, im not sure about riffles but most smgs are easier to make full auto if they are using an open bolt firing mechanism so i dont think they would be much more expensive if bought by a police force

the price difference between auto and semi-auto would be essentially nothing for a military or for a terrorist organization. The price you gave would only be if you wanted to own it legally as a civilian in the United states. Also some of the prices that seemed way too high are because the exact version of the gun is no longer in production so they are much harder to come by but if you are the military you can get them to make more of them which would really bring down the price for the CT's but the T's are stuck with the full price.

Cool and interesting video but I wish that rather than look at prices for civilians buying firearms you looked at something like manufacture costs which I'm sure you could find for most firearms online. In my opinion even better than manufacturing costs would be looking into military contracts. I know in CS you're either a counter terrorist or terrorist neither being military's but im sure swat and isis have different arms dealers with differing prices. So I do like the idea of comparing CS to the real world I feel like all automatics getting drastically more expensive because civ's can't buy them without proper paper work and licensing kinda soil it a little bit. The idea of looking at manufacture prices isn't gonna exactly be fair considering the company obviously wants to make a profit but I feel it's a better source. It would help with struggling to find a consistent price and for the CT's specifically it would fit more. Anyways like I said good video brother keep it up just wanted to share my opinion.

It's pretty easy to understand why CT's would be able to afford expensive $3000 pistols and get it at the price of $200. Tax dollars, direct manufacturer contracts, and none of those pesky restrictions on Automatic weapons. The real question is where are all the T's getting the money/weapons from. Also the m4A4 is probably just an AR15, you can pick up an semi auto version from just about any pawn shop for about $1300-$3000.

Semi auto saw from fn brand new out the box is $10,584. A nice little truck gun.

I doubt valve had any specific idea. They’re known for play testing really heavily and they likely just pick some numbers make some changes and then play test. Rinse and repeat!

they didnt just pick numbers , they literally hired ex government financial minister (forgot which country,maybe greece) to make the economy of the game
