Miragedramon also seems fitting sorta to the story of Survive. It's body is mist or /fog/ which is a pretty big thing in Survive!

I love the potential of armor digivolution. Like what if the Legendary Warriors from Frontier could armor digivolve? Agunimon with Courage for example, add Miracles and Kindness to make it a round 10.

Darnemon is absolutely my favorite. Not only did I learn to love Kunemon in this game, I honestly whish we had a full line that uses the lightning like patterns on its and Flymon's faces. Plus the use of the leaves and blades is amazing

Miragedramon is incredibly clever and feels like such a Digimon thing to do! Love it!

As Saki is my favorite character in Survive, it sort of makes sense that Chlorismon is my favorite of this set. She gives me feeling of being an aid or a lower ranking angel like being in the service of a higher holy being or godly being. And given one of Floramon's megas in Survive (not spoiling anything), it makes sense. Also it's just straight up beautiful.

We need a what if we gave karns different armor digivolution as an April fools or for Halloween.

I really like how Takuma was handled in survive. We weren't exactly the leader starting off nor did we command others, we just somehow ended up as a leader as the game progressed because we usually had the final say in how we move on forward and people kept on relying on us more and more later on. The characters even acknowledged it and made several comments on how Takuma's the leader of the group even though we have Aoi and others older than him.

I love all the mythological ties with this batch. Miragedramon's clam shell and pearls are so perfect coming from Syakomon that you can just picture the evolution sequence in your head. It would also make a great segue into Hisyaryumon as an alternative ultimate.

You've got to appreciate, not just the Digimon knowledge (which is always top notch) but also the mythological research/knowledge in these videos. Good stuff Karn!

i kinda like that the digimon survive cast is now involved in your speculation rotation among the anime crews. It makes me very happy. Its a very good cast and a very good assortment of partner digimon. Also daaang i wish Chlorismon was a real digimon, so pretty!

My fav kind of videos; about armor evolutions for partners :3 I wish i could see Adventure 1 digimon partners but every single digimon with every single armor evo lmao!

I kinda feel like Aoi should have gotten Reliability/Sincerity, as that's what I personally associate her with the most. And Takuma should have gotten Friendship, as all of his decisions are made for his friends, for their wellbeing, and when someone does die, though he keeps it bottled up, I think he might actually be hit the hardest by it. He forces himself to move on, but to always check-in with people who he knows is suffering. Hope could have worked for him too, as the group tends to put all their hopes on him.

Great evolutions but I have made different choices in my headcanon for the crests: SPOILER . . . . . . Courage: Minoru is indeed a perfect fit for courage and has to overcome his fears towards Falcomon and the kemonogami to allow him to evolve further Friendship: Ryo is an outcast at first that can't open to others, in failing to do so he dies alone, his only hope is to open up to others and build friendship before its to late Love: Aoi, like was said in the video is the "mom" of the group, not unlike Sora was in Adventure Sincerity(jp): Shuuji is basically an older Jo and struggles with similar trauma towards his family's expectations and has to be honest with himself to overcome it and become a better person Knowledge: Akiharu as discovering and knowing things is his job and, like Koshiro in Adventure, is the main source of information about the world and the past. moreover his whole arc is to regain knowledge of his childhood Purity(jp): Miu is the naive but caring Mimi of the group, mischievious in appearance she eventually shows kindness and affection towards her "servants" and her brother Hope: Saki, secretly in despair with her illness she has to overcome this and start having hope again for the future Light: Miyuki, is litterally a priestess and reminds me a lot of Hikari, and Renamon is behaving a lot like Tailmon when she worked for Vamdemon Kindness: Kaito is brutal and full of anger in appearance and has to overcome his rage toward the world to just be himself , a caring brother Destiny: Takuma, its kind of a meta choice, since Takuma is the only character that can make choices in the game, being the protagonist, of him will depend the fate of the world and only him can save everyone.

I've always wondered what it would be like if the 02 partners never dropped the armor digivolving when reaching champion ultimate and mega levels respectfully each time they would have to armor digivolve at each level

Bravo. The Saki and Mui evolutions were my favourite. They’re my least used in the game so I would love these designs. I did achieve their megas on my plus game but floramon and syakkoumon weren’t very offensive. Dracmons armour flight mode needs to be a real thing

I think Takuma should have the kindness digiegg, he's not exactly the smartest, but he always manages to keep the team together and what he does the most is to go and see what the others are doing and help them with their problems.

12:29 There was that time War Greymon X used Poseidon Force in Digimon X Evolution. Other than that, I wonder how Takuma and the others would react to finding the Digi-Eggs/Digimentals? How would the group react to finding themselves in the other Digital Worlds/Human Worlds seen across the anime like Ghost Game’s Human World or the Digital World of Adventure?

I'd be honest, I'd like to see another out of the box digivolution choices on ideas such as "We Gave Digimon Survive a Different Jogress Forms" or "What If Digimon Survive Have Spirit Evolutions".

Funnily enough - I *also* commissioned some fan Digimon designs after playing some of Survive. In my case, a custom ultimate for the wrathful champion. For a theoretical line: Agumon > wrathful champion > custom ultimate > BlackBlitzGreymon

Hey Karn, loved the video. And while watching it, it gave me an idea for you. Creating brand new Armor Digi Eggs. Like you had said, there was no egg of leadership. So what about creating a new set of Armor Digi Eggs? Could allow new digivolutions, new element affinities, and new powers altogether. Like, imagine Agumon using the egg of leadership to become... I don't know, GeneralDramon? I'm not sure but the idea is there.

This is awesome, I love this of giving these armor digivolutions, it would be cool to see other seasons to give the armor and crests as well. Like the tamers and frontier.

I love that Barghestmon has a muzzle. I imagine it trying to talk and it coming out muffled since it’s mouth is stuck shut.

I like how the friendship crest works. Gabumon is fire based, Garurumon is fire based, WereGarurumon is for some reason earth based, MetalGarurumon is ice based, then Raidramon is electricity based. What is with he crest of friendship man? Like seriously each line of the digidestined has a special element theme for it, Agumon fire, Biyomon fire, Gomamon water/ice, Tentomon electricity, Palmon grass/plants, Patamon light/holy, Gatomon light/holy, then Gabumon fire fire earth ice electricity.

As someone who just beat Survive for the second time, wooooo boy do I love these. Makes me wish Bandai did more with the Armor Evolutions, as they have such great potential. Picking a favorite out of these is difficult…probably Floramon’s. It’s adorable as heck and Saki is one of my favorite characters from the game. Always love seeing the custom art stuff Karn! I'd like a dlc were a new main character is an estranged sibling of one the characters, possibly as a Kari rephrase give them a Digimon that was an enemy in the main game, I'd personally give them the big bad as their partner. Maybe have a plot line be were the siblings have to deal with whatever caused the rift in the first place and how they deal with their issue can have a major effect on the game or ending.

I haven’t played the game yet but I’m looking forward to playing it, the armor evolution were cool I would like to see a hyper spirit evolution of the rest of the spirits and a truly corrupted version of spirits that worked for Cherubimon I even have some ideas for names for those corrupted digimons

I'm a big fan of fan made official Digimon and I really hope one day Bandai recognises Karn EX and 9th DigiDestined's fan made Digimon as being official. We already have it as being canon that Digimon stem from the heart and can be brought in to being from a person (Takato and Guilmon) so why not show that love to us long time fans.

Video I’d like to see: I’m a big Frontier fan and I know that month is already past but I’d like to see a video showing EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon equivalents for all the spirits.

I'm on my second playthrough right now and I was just thinking about what crests each kid would have! I like the picks you gave everyone, though I know where you're coming from with some of the kids fitting more then one crest or end stuff making it hard to pin down. I'm excited to see how your choices might change in later videos, especially when you can start doing more spoilery ones!

Personally would of gave the digimental of fate to Takuma, him and Agumon believe strongly in their fated bond no matter what as the game started and ended but reliability was also a great choice and maybe I just wanted tonsee Agumon have a golden armor. Fell in love with these designs the moment I laid eyes on them. They feel natural! Except Agumon because he's my favourite rookie but that's just the nostalgia talking - the design's grown on me and makes a lot of sense as well.

i think it's cute how all the partenrs in survive are like the "we have digimon adventure at home" squad of b-list mob digimon with no context and for no reason, i think the "we have adventure 02 at home" versions of hawkmon and armadillomon would be penguinmon and elecmon

I’ve seen a few people talk bout biomerges but what if, since there’s 8 of the kids we do jogress for them or if they all had their own special jogress with takuma, once enough time has past and you feel comfort doing spoilers for Megas. Like i can just imagine a wargreymon and let’s say if labramon evolves into anubismon like we all theorized. Dragon dog god of death/reincarnation sounds pretty cool to me. (I beat the harmonious ending but didn’t get a mega for anyone besides Takuma & kaito so anubismon is a wild guess for me)
