@thestarwarsgalaxy what if Vader froze Luke in Carbonite to take to the Emperor; Star wars theory made this one in the past but I would like to hear your point of view of the story
I have entered in the giveaway. i really hope you do the obi juan idea, star wars needs rock. Also what if yoda turned to the darkside and made his own clone army, during the clone wars, will palatine have to work with the jedi to survive.
This was definitely another amazing video with an interesting topic. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next. An idea I do have for a potential “what if” you could do is “What If Ezra was a Mandalorians”. I think it would be interesting to and it would make him even more badass. I’d still want him to keep his connections to the purgil and loath wolves somehow and I just want to see more Ezra and Sabine moments…#ezrabine4ever.
i kinda wised he had said "no mace, the Jedi does not serve the republic. we follow the will of the force! you are the one who has lost your way, you are no jedi, you are a puppet."
Plo with his caring dad energy would solve the issues either by debating his way to the result needed or (mostly unintententionally) guilt tripping the Republic into getting it's act toguether
I like this one as it's one of the rare what ifs that doesn't just ignore the corruption in the Republic and the Jedi Order in a situation where the Sith are defeated, but still deals with it as the central conflict. Well done!
Mace Windu is the true villain of the Prequel Trilogy. His hypocritical behavior, thinking he was above being corrupted by the dark side, siding with the Republic over the will of the force, etc. The Jedi Order was already flawed, but when he become Master of the Order, it was truly the nail in the coffin.
Im so glad that you had the Senate elect another corrupt politician as chancellor! I think it added more frustration with how restricted the Jedi order felt by the senate. Good stuff!
In Legends he was a near equal to Yoda in potential which is one of the reasons why Yoda took Dooku as a one on one apprentice which Yoda rarely did unless he sensed someone with near equal, actual equal, or even above his own potential so Mace was most likely a near equal to Dooku in potential in that case making Dooku slightly below Yoda and Mace moderately below Yoda with Sidious/Galen Merek, Abeloth, The Solos within Leias veins, And The Skywalkers being the only ones to surpass Yodas potential yeah.
i like the story, but i think there are 2 major flaws around the beginning of it: Palpatine kills Plagueis at the same time Maul dies, he wouldn't have the time to go and help Maul because he was busy, if he tried to help Maul then Plagueis would remain alive. The second thing is that Palpatine just wanted Maul as an assasin rather than a full on apprentice, I don't think he'd care so much to the point of going there and saving him to begin with, especially with him knowing that doing that would very likely expose him as the Sith master.
Thank you for the story! It was very well done and I liked that you didn't gloss over the fact Dooku murdered another Jedi, but didn't linger on it either. When a character redeems, its often easy to just gloss over their past misdeeds, I imagine for story flow. However, it would also bog down a story to just keep harping on what they had done before. Here, you stated it a few times, then moved on. Like the split on who sided with Dooku and who Windu, I'm sure each of us had our beloved character on the wrong side, but knew it was necessary for there to be a split. Like how you used Ahsoka to start a resolution, before it was resolved to allow our heroes to be the solution against slavery out on the rim. Nice story, great reading and again, thank you for making it.
Sidious went down too easy. I enjoyed the scenario overall, but I feel like Sidious wouldn't have lost to Dooku w/o some kind of outside circumstance intervening.
I'd agree that he went down too easily, although I think the one and only time Dooku had a chance of besting Sidious one on one is during or just after TPM (Not easily, it'd be a seriously close fight even then). Now if it were ROTS Sidious, then Dooku wouldn't have a hope of winning due to how powerful Sidious became by that point, he'd put up a good fight, sure, but never win.
Its such a cute reaction >/< ' my father is here, my older son isn't ready for the burden of raising his newly adopted brother, my father can do it though. '
MORE COUNT DOOKU STORIES YAYYY! I will be adding more to thus comment after watching. 😊😊 *added comment* really loved this story, and the way in which dooku repeats the line of "We serve the people of this Republic! " gave me chills, can't wait to see more stories, maybe a part 2 to this version of the timeline 😁👌👍👌
I love your stories about Dooku. Always some of my favorites. I know many probably think Dooku would stand no chance against Palpatine, but I think your scenarios are plausible. Dooku's skill as a duelist are often overlooked by many fans and you showed his skill multiple times in this video. Well done
Ahsoka is now inserted in the Return of the Jedi when Luke is Burning his body, she saunters up to him and explains who she is. This is something Disney would do.
I've got one for ya: but this is one that should only be done after you've really sat down and chewed on TOR, and I seem to recall your Old Republic chops aren't completely there yet. What if Darth Imperious returned during the Clone Wars era? Darth Imperious is the light side version of the Sith Inquisitor from TOR. He's got a kind of scoundrel mage with a heart of gold personality - charming, diplomatic, quippy, self assured, and utterly uncaring about breaking the rules. He's a fairly well designed character and represents an interesting thought experiment of a powerful and ambitious Sith who's mentality is stepped in a more traditional 'good' value system. Though I think the Light Side Sith Warrior does this thought experiment better, Imperious just has a much stronger characterization than LS Wrath does, who's genuinely more generic Jedi than most of the Jedi in the game are.
Could he hide his dark side from the Jedi by using his double brain to switch between light and dark? A Sith lord on the Jedi council would be extremely dangerous.
Good one. I enjoyed this one. I just think once the Light Saber' ignited, Yoda should have put a stop to it. Light "The animosity between you too are well know. It is at the core of this, but the second layer is the truth to what and who we are. We are loyal to our word, but beholden to protect the weak,,,, the innocent.... We will help the ppl now and let the council know what we do." That's what I think. I do love your stuff man. The Skywalker as a Mandalorian was great too. 💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
WHAT IF Anakin join Dooku in Geonoses, achive balance in force, together kill Palpatine take control over republic and start new force order WHAT IF Venrtess and Qui-lan Vos kill dooku settled down start family, achive balance in force and start new force order and train Luke, Leia, Mara Jade Galen Marek, Cal Cestis and Merrin ( Luke start family with Mara, Leia with Galen and Cal with Merrin) WHAT IF Yoda and Dooku go to Naboo with Obi-wan and Qui-gon and all died from hands of Maul and Plagueis( he kill dooku from hiding and after attakin yoda kill him and Maul kill Qui-gon and Obi-wan), Plaugueis kill Maul to convicen jedi about he was last sith.
What if anakin was found by jedi belonging to another sect like corelia or those nomadic jedi who allow attachment. What if anakin went to dathomir in revenge of the sith to search for ways to save padme. What if yoda decided to swap the masters of ferus olin and anakin. So anakin with siri. Obi with ferus What if ahsoka and anakin crash landed on bendu's planet. Also what if darth vader joined thrawn in meeting the bendu and went on a spiritual journey back to the dust ball tatiotene.
For the record: there’s been a debate on who would win a one on one match Dooku or Maul. Your video shows an interesting result. Good story thanks for sharing. Favorite part is how Ahsoka became Obi Wan’s apprentice. Day 76 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
What if darth vader went to darthomir to learn. New suit or perhaps more unique powers. Resurrect talzin maybe. what if Vokara Che became a mentor to anakin as anakin was being treated for bullying and trauma from being a slave. What if anakin fell in love with luminara unduli, serra keto or bultar swan. What if anakin was taught by agen kolar or sasee tin or adi gallia.
Really like this tale of Dooku not turning to the dark side I like that he trained Anakin and was able to lead a civil war to reform the Jedi and the Republic
Probably the only point in time that Dooku could rival Palps would be around the phantom menace, so I could see this outcome, albeit hard won. Though ROTS Sidious is a different matter. Really enjoyed this one regardless. Loved how Dooku and Anakin brought the jedi out of their stagnation and unproductive politicking.
I am quite surprised that Yaddle wasn't mentioned at all in this one. I figured she would appear in the fighting at least. Buuut, Nice Dooku W! A very cool video! I do think in their prime Dooku would beat Sidious in a fight like that. Dooku has just trained for it so much more.
What if Jango Fett survived the Battle of Geonosis? What if Darth Maul was redeemed on Naboo? What if Lando never betrayed Han on Cloud City? What if Luke died on the second Death Star? What if Rex killed Ahsoka? What if Ahsoka killed Rex? What if Boba Fett joined the Rebellion? What if Kanan survived? What if Obi-Wan died on Utapau (either against Grievous or Order 66)? What if Han Solo never met Chewbacca? What if Darth Maul killed Kanan on Malachor?
I'm thinking that Palpatine would've used his power of the force to try to defeat Dooku when he determined he couldn't defeat him with a lighsaber as he did with Yoda. I think Palpatine was overall stronger in the force than Dooku was. I'm thinking Dooku should've been at least injured in his duel with Palpatine. Also not sure who is the better duelist between Dooku and Windu this is an interesting topic. Definitely think Windu has an edge on a darkside wielding Dooku. Not sure otherwise though how well Vaapad stacks up to Makashi if the Makashi user is still wielding the lightside of the force. Kind of like a Paladin in D and D trying to smite a good or neutral aligned swashbuckler maybe?
I enjoy these, I might not always like the direction, some things could be changed for the better, but these have been some comfort during my weird mental days. Can I suggest one? I've had a quick search and couldn't find anything, but What If the rule of 2 didnt exist during Palpatine's era?
What if Padme somehow got a force vision of Anakin having nightmares of her dying, turning to the dark side, order 66, the Jedi dying, Anakin in vader suit, her actually dying and her twins being separated?
I just want to say, ive only recently discovered this channel, but i am about halfway through binging every single playlist. My favorite what ifs are the ones where rex and the clones remove their chips and betray the empire. Now my suggestions for what if: What if the rebels were able to reactivate a sizable portion of the droid army and use them to fight the empire. What if Plo Koon showed up to rescue Grogu, Mando, and company instead of luke on Moff Gideons ship What if Obi-Wan was the chosen one What if paleptine had a health issue that wouldnt kill him, but make him slip up on concealing his presence in the force and the jedi picked up on it
I'm not sure what's scarier anakin refining his swordsmenship with the help of dooku or a team up of anakin and dooku leading a separatist movement with clone troopers and grievous against the republic with battle droids with a reluctant jedi order conflicted on who to side with, the republic and droids or or dooku and anakin.
What if in Attack of the Clones, the Jedi joined the CIS after Dooku revealed everything to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan returns to the Jedi Counsel with what Dooku revealed and they join the CIS because taking on Palaptine and the corruption in the Senate was too dangerous to do within the Republic. Being the Jedi know of the Clones and Order 66 from disclosure from Dooku how would things play out.
You guys remeber star wars battle front 2 video game how in the campaign in the jedi temple their was temple vanguard infantry soldiers armed with blaster rifles and pistols I kinda they were cannon and it gives the idea their are non jedi republic militias serving in protecting the temple. But I also imagine how tragic it be in a jedi civil war or an order 66 scenario because the vanguard soliders would die defending the temple lr be force to pick a side ij a jedi civil war.
Why does every other Star Wars story forgive and forget murder just because the culprit is sorry??? You can forgive accidents, duels and skirmishes due to various degrees of recklessness, and e.g. the Tusken Raider incident could be rewritten as such, but murder, let alone of innocents or fellow Jedi, MUST be addressed by proper justice.
Anakin: We're ignoring Windu to go on this rescue mission? Dooku: Nope to the temple. Anakin: Screw the Temple I'm going, these are innocent lives. Dooku: Good point! And that's how the Zygerian Slavers are sentenced to life in Republic Prison.
What if Dooku actually betrayed Palpatine and created a new Jedi Order, a Dark Jedi Order. Instead of letting the Republic hold the Clone Army he would use the Clones once they were complete to lead the Confederacy of Jedi Systems. Believing the Dark Jedi Order he has created shouldbe leading the people and protecting the people of the galaxy as leaders. Or perhaps Barris Offee found like minded Jedi and created a group of Jedi who were against the Jedi Order. Becoming Dark Jedi. Maybe turning to Orange tinted lightsabers. And creating a Jedi Civil War. Not sure if Clones would side with Barris or if they would use soldiers for their war. But Jedi vs Jedi vs Sith would be interesting
The Jedi "Order" should have been more like a church, with the temple being a private church school. The order itself would be entirely separate from the republic and help the people of the galaxy with aid and disaster response missions and sharing about the force. However individual Jedi like Mace Windu could join the republic judicial forces, and individuals like Anikan could Mary Padme and raise a family, while Dooku could return to his home. Jedi could join at any age and family could visit their kids who become younglings or padawans. Once they reach the age of knight they can choose to "graduate" and go out into the world to live their own lives or study to become a master like going to seminary school. Once you become an "ordained" master you could start your own jedi temple, or if you are invited onto the jedi council you could serve more like a church convention, with the master of the order more like a pope. Jedi masters could also marry, but some still choose celibacy. Dooku becomes Martin Luther, writes a 95 thesis and puts it on the door to the council chambers, but rather than leaving it's like he became pope. This "jedi reformation". Where the new order focuses on the will of the force and are not afraid of attachment, but teach how to have healthy attachment.
Good story. Knowing dooku charater this plays about right if he stayed in the light. I do love how anakin is a more discipline jedi under dooku training. I also loved the civil war action. Great story over all.
