There’s not a huge variety of combine soldiers, maybe the HECU could also find a way in to help fill it out, even if it’s just redesigning them to look like UNSC Marines? edit: completely forgot that Alyx brought in some new variants
Now THIS is a good idea, Could possibly use some of the HL 2 Beta Designs, But the best bet is probably HL 2 and Alyx (Possibly the HEV for use AGAINST the other Armour Cores)
@@LitmusPapyrus Perhaps we could have Synth/Overwatch versions of the Covenant races? Imagine the Combine turning a Grunt into a walking, cybernetic flamethrower/bomb? Or replacing an Elite’s arms with Combine-repurposed energy swords?
Halofying the Great Kanohi (Masks) of the Toa Mata from Bionicle. Bionicle and Halo were actually a massive part of my childhood since they were one of the few things my older brother and I had in common at the time
Bionicles and Halo literally had my childhood in a chokehold. If I wasn’t playing Halo I was pulling apart and combining Bionicles, if I wasn’t playing with my Bionicles I was kicking ass and saving the galaxy.
You should do the Hellfire(X03 power armor), the raider power armor, the hellcat power armor and the excavator power armor and the T-65 power armor.I think that would be an awesome 2nd halofying fallout video!
You know, the helmets are very reminiscent of different incarnations of the EOD, especially the advanced models having eyes nearly identical to Halo 3's EOD
I would love to see you do the Halofied version of the Warhammer 40K factions, not just the Space Marines (Both Loyalists and Traitors), but also the Sisters of Battle, the Tempestus Scions, the T'au and the Eldar.
@@WernissageSomething I started to think about this morning was what if X-com 2's advent and Halo's Covenant existed in the same verse. What would different aliens look like in each other's style like an Elite in Advent trooper styled armor or a Berserker in armor inspired by the Hunters.
All these look so cool. I love the power armor in Fallout and I really hope you continue this and do the Tesla Armor and Hellfire Armor from Fallout 3, Raider from Fallout 4, and Excavator Hellcat Ultracite and T-65 from Fallout 76.
I may not be into Gundam much but the Zaku II is one I find I like design-wise, other than the mismatched shoulders. (I prefer the shoulder armor on the right arm rather than the spikey armor on the left.)
@@elchjol2777 Thats fair. I just think its really cool that the reason the Halo armor is the way it is because Bungie love Gundam and was inspired by it. Thats why I think Gundams and other Mobile Suits would fit perfectly into Halo's armor designs
If there could be more with the Fallout series, would you consider Halofying the laser and plasma weapons of that series? (And having a good lore even if they might be a rare sight or even just prototypes that did not reach manufacturing status in this unique au lore.)
Love how these are made with my favorite fracture Entrenched. Just wished we had more armor for the core, and not the recent armor kit. Btw, Elder Scrolls armor (Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim iterations) for the Drengyr fracture possibly? ESO has too many armors to choose from for a video, it would had to be a series.
These all look really great The Enclave ones are my favorite The Enclave Hellfire armor would be sick to see what you could do to it :) Also would love to have all these in my game lol also would be cool to see you halofy the laser and plasma weapons from fallout
Dude that first redesign on the t-45 is exactly what I picture the NCR scavenged power armor to be, This is going to be great for my fallout d&d game!!
Love these so much. I was wondering what your take on Mobile Suits from Gundam would look like as powered armor suits rather than mechs, particularly the RGM-79 GM, RX-78-2 Gundam, MS-06F Zaku II, MS-07B Gouf, and the MS-09B Dom.
This suggestion is mainly because this game is on my mind right now, but I'd love to see Helldivers II Haloified. It already has some clear Halo inspiration, so it feels like a good option for this series.
now i know this is out of your normal wheelhouse but i would love to see you falloutify iconic halo armors heck maybe you could work with a modder who specializes in power armor like newermind43 to bring the designs you come up with to life in game. i know that would be a lot of work but i really do think it would be a fun project
Maybe it's too late for Infinite, but if the next Halo game has collaboration armor sets with other franchises like this, I have no doubt it would be a huge success. Once again, you really knock it out of the park. Keep up the fantastic work!
It's important to keep in mind the production history and intent of each model of Fallout power armor. T-45d was the proof of concept, the initial "good enough", in the era when battle tanks were no longer tenable assets due yo shortages of steel, fuel, and other materials. It was rushed into the field in numbers to make up for the shortfall, analogous to the Soviet T34 tank of the previous century, but only barely lived up to the needs of the Army. The T-51b was developed years later, making strides to design the ultimate personal war machine. It offered the highest possible protection available, but was too expensive for mass manufacture due to the materials used in its construction. The T-60c was the last full-production model, set into motion right before the end of the War. It was a redesign of the T-45d, using lessons learned from the 45's deployments and from the T-51d to achieve a balance between protection and cost-effectiveness. It saw only limited deployment, with only around 50,000 units being produced by the time the bombs fell. The X-01 experimental advanced power armor was in design even before the T-60c's full rollout, attempting to solve the issues of resource costs versus viability through different design methodologies. It was eventually finished and produced as standard by the Enclave as the Advanced Power Armor Mk.I, and was functionally only barely better than T-60c. The APA Mk.II 'Demon' was to the X-01 what the T-60c was to the T-51b and T-45d, a streamlined middle-ground design combining effectiveness with resource management, as the Enclave's diminishing influence and resources made them look long and hard at their spreadsheets. The APA Mk.III 'Hellfire' was meant to be the ultimate pinnacle of Enclave power armor development. Offering protection rivaling a medium tank and extremely exoensuve, its design and prototyping drew resources from multiple different Enclave coffers across the ruined United States, all but bankrupting the organization, forcing multiple asset reconsolidations as regional branches shut down, and limiting the armor's deployment to only a few dozen units that were guven to heavy special forces teams. Remember: recruits study tactics - veterans study logistics.
I think Entrenched is the perfect Fractures timeline to have multiple armor cores. World War 1 was a war of experimentation. There were so many different guns, types of ammo, vehicles, uniforms, etc. Each nation had something different and unique, and I think Entrenched should really play into that more with new cores. I wish we got more Fractures lore in general; it's such an underutilized concept outside of marketing and updates.
I’ve always wondered what the Fallout Power Armors would look like as Halofied Spartan armors, and now I know. The APA MKII is probably my favorite out of the five armors from this video. Really great work!
Havent seen a comment about it yet, but halofying the different armors from dune would be great, like the different harkonnen armors, sardukar, stillsuits, and atreides
Expanding on the suggestion of Halo-fying BIONICLE (of which there’s an enormous selection of Kanohi mask and character designs), one way you could tie in the different mask powers is to have each suit include its own dedicated A.I. assistant. I.e., Tahu’s Mask of Sheilding could generate a personal bubble shield, much stronger than normal energy shields. Awesome vid as always! You always manage to smoothly integrate the designs of differ universes into Halo!
Transformers as Halo armor would look so freaking sick but it would also vary massively based on which continuity. I would suggest either G1 mixed with that clean Halo 3 look or if he really wants a challenge, Fall of Cybertron mixed with the Halo Reach aesthetic to really capture that war-torn vibe of damaged and burnt armor.
I'm so glad I was recommended this video. Seeing as how you've halofied real guns, itd be cool to see you halofy fallout weapons, some great ones would be the 10mm pistol, 10mm smg, fatman, railway rifle, gamma gun, laser musket, powerfist, and laser rcw
I love this I feel like all of these could be found in the halo universe and not just something that is shoved down your throat that doesn’t belong great job!
I wanna see a take on halofying the various Federation mobile suits from the Gundam franchise and see what they could look like as Spartan armor, such as the GM, the Guncannon, and of course the Gundam itself.
Wern: “I’ve never touched an FO game, but I’ve done my research and am now a power armor connoisseur!” Me: “Cool!” Wern: “Now, to start, the first canonically used power armor: the T-45.” Me: “Ope.” Edit: I was totally wrong please be gentle.
okay but he's actually right, canonically, timeline wise, the T-45 was the first. The T-51 was more advanced. Yes, the T-51 is the OG power armor, but Wernissage is still correct. EDIT: I watched the video. He says, "The T-51, or the T-51B is actually the first set of power armor we got from the fallout game series." So you're still wrong. twice over.
@@Wernissage It is depending on how you mean. Canonically the first time a player character uses power armor it’s the vault dweller using T-51. I could be wrong though
you done a good job of redesigning the fallout power armor in the halo universe, my favorite is the T-60 one, I'd like to see you combine the titans from Titanfall 2 and halo together, but that's probably just me since I'm a bit of a Titanfall 2 fan
Gutreaction? I could place the different armours regarding the usage... 1: Snow armour 2: Cave armour 3: Diving armour 4: Chemical warfare armour 5: Deep space armour
I like to think of these designs as the Mk1 ADS Prototype seen in Halo Legends *Prototype* episode a way to simplify a Spartan but for use on regular human infantry, thats just me of course! My personal faves are both The T-51b and T-60,loved them
This is so badass man, you NAILED it! My two favorite worlds! Halo 2 and New Vegas are my favorite games of all time! You have to play New Vegas bro, you’ll love it. Trust me, and anyone else here that tells you
Honestly for the APA-MK1 you still could've had the larger shoulder pads, Jorge (Halo Reach) has a rather large shoulder piece attached to his torso piece iirc Also, you could potentially shrink down the muzzle buff around the beak to give it a little more room, but that's just a relatively small nit-pick These are some awesome designs
I know this off topic but I wonder if you have talked to any mod maker for mcc as your designs and concepts are perfect for mods for the game, I love to see your “iconic weapons redesigns” and “if halo had gunsmith” as mods for mcc, I can see them changing the game in awesome ways
Honestly, despite how much hate it got when it first came out, I think seeing the Combat Rigs from COD: Infinite Warfare being tweaked into Mjolnir would be pretty neat. The designs are already awesome as they are, so having them be made even more awesome would genuinely be a blissful experience.
I'd like to watch a video where you just slap a bunch of franchises into one video. Like iconic figures that can totally work but not enough for their own video.
Fallout power armor does exist in Halo. That's the Mjolnir Mark III. After they fixed the power issue the Mjolnir suits were still rather bulky. Too bulky for a spec ops group like the Spartan IIs. If I remember correctly there is a chapter in Fall of Reach where the Spartan IIs steal a flag from a base full of UNSC soldiers who are inside the Mark III s. All they did was get all black clothes and decend from the ceiling of the hanger the make shift base was in. In the blind spot of the Mark III s. Then steal the flag. Mission impossible style. Yeah basically the armor goes like this Mark I: big power armor hooked up to a generator Mark III: big power armor hooked up to a generator Mark III: big power armor with it's own power supply Mark IV: slimmer Armor that is almost human size with it's own power supply Mark V: slightly more armor, shields, AI compatible Mark VI: slightly more dense but less bulky armor, shields, self healing of wearer using bio form, AI compatible Mark VII: same armor but with nano machines to help repair armor over time.(Supposedly)
I’d like to see all the base power armors from every mainline fallout game (only the base armors are allowed from fallout 76, if it changes from paint, it doesn’t count) imagine having a Tesla X-02 Spartan.
I was gonna make a suggestion... But everyone's mentioning Bionicle and I GOTTA vote for that. The original 6 are the absolute go-to's, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Mask of Light or Mask of Life. Past that, my instinct would be a Rare themed core, with Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, and maybe Conker: Live & Reloaded inspirations.
