Luxembourg wasn't a part of the empire. I think you mean the now Belgium state of Eupen.

Regarding New Brunswick and Nova Scotia: they used to be the French colony of Acadia before the British took it over in the 1700s, and Cajun culture is partially thanks to Acadians who fled to Louisiana after the British conquest of the region.

The German tribes was not germany neither united. For example the visigoths and ostrogoths were Germans but 2 different nations. Sweden and Germany belong in the german race but it does not mean that they should be united

There‘s a mod for HOI4 you can make multiple parts, it’s called 2030, it starts in 1936 and you can play until 2030, it’s complex, has many big and unique focus trees and you should check it out, thanks.

Alex, in this world I assume the Acadians sign their allegiance to the English in the 7 years war and retain all of their land. Then when Confederation came around they refused to sign on but were later able to gain their independence from the UK. Aka why Acadia is a separate country from the rest of Canada.

France didn’t just control Quebec and the Louisiana territory it also controlled Nova Scotia and the surrounding provinces. These provinces were French speaking but after the seven years war the populace was forcefully relocated to Louisiana.

3:14 New-Brunswick also has a french speaking population called the acadians which make up roughly half of it's population, and I'm pretty sure Nova Scotia gots a few acadians pockets here and there too
