Love the idea of freiza unlocking gold, quickly heading to Earth, talks shit, sees Goku's kid, laughs at him, and midway just realized he has a hole in him and just goes "well shit"...
@@Scotthulahoopcawthon yes regular school stuff. he would be an AP student sure but TFS overblows that hes a mega hyper genius. gohan literally goes to a NORMAL highschool in buu saga and not college if he was as smart as hes portrayed in Abridged. you guys keep forgetting he was homeschooled and was at best a high end AP student and STILL ends up at a public school.
One lf my favorite what-ifs of yours and honestly one of the ones I think would be phenomenal in a written format to explore the trauma both Goku and Gohan went through. Great work Salad!!
Honestly I don't think Goku would be very effected by this. My impression of Goku is that he cares about his friends and family but for some reason doesn't really have the capacity to miss them. Even before DBZ Goku goes years without visiting any of his friends but he doesn't really act like they've been apart very long.
Saiyans in general seem to be immune to long term mental trauma. Think about it - the things that ALL of them go through are person-shatteringly bad, yet all of them are well adjusted and perfectly functional people... for the most part. And no, Gohan doesn't get his rage issues from trauma, he had them literally from birth. Assuming they don't just starve to death they'd come out of the time chamber after several years no worse for wear, imho, they'd probably just shake it off and after beating the everlasting shit out of Cell Gohan'd be perfectly willing to lose all the power he gained in return for getting back to his correct age before he has to go see his mother.
He might not miss them per se, but he would care about them being in danger and not being there to help. Remember the mad scramble to return to earth to face the saiyan invasion? Or how he was about to IT in to kill frieza back on earth before Trunks intervened? I think you’re probably right that he doesn’t miss them, but I’m certain he’d be panicking regardless since there’s still a threat on earth.
he knows exactly how much time he has to get back to them, and from his perspective, it's a fairly long time. He has basically 9-ish years to get out of the time chamber in time to face Cell. Really the bigger issue is the extremely limited amount of food. Honestly I think the best way to deal with that in this What If would've been if Popo had somehow found a magical way to refill their food rather than just sort of ignoring the problem and saying they somehow rationed a year's worth of food for 7 years and still had enough to feed two saiyans and train to SS3 level on top of that. That's probably the silliest part of the entire AU.
@@bananaslamma35 I had the same thought on food, you can’t train your muscles and ration your food at the same time, it doesn’t work. They would’ve simply starved to death. As far as time, I don’t think that matters when as far as you know, a hundred years might not be enough time to break out of a dimension with pure power. How could he know otherwise? It’s not like they got out with much time to spare in the end. So yeah, nine years was enough time, but Goku had no way of knowing that, and his panic is justified.
Goku is not prone to despair and he's knowledgeable enough to know that panicking is the worst thing he can do in this situation. Honestly I actually rather expect Goku to try to focus on the Instant Transmission technique as a potential avenue to get out of the pocket dimension, rather than fixate on sheer power alone. After all, he can use it to go to the afterlife in canon, so why not push it further? Could do an entire whatif about Goku perfecting Instant Transmission to the point he can use it reliably in combat and even to jump across universes, which changes the story dramatically. On top of that, since Goku needs to expand his ki sense to use it more effectively, it would actually give Goku a wealth of knowledge. Imagine a Goku who has felt Jiren's power as far back as the Cell Saga, and has that as his newest goal to surpass. Or hell, picking up on the fact there's another evil ki just as strong as Cell traveling across the universe. He could even pick up on Broly and Paragus. There's a lot of potential to a What If Goku Focused on Instant Transmission...
@@rckyourworlddon’t worry it’s obvious that this person only watches dragon ball dragon ball z and super on some of the most cringy TikTok and RU-vid videos
This is probably the best dragonball scenario i have ever seen. The fact that others besides Goku get their chance to show of their power and be amazing is simply extraordinary because i feel like that was one of the points of Z (passing on to the future generations and all). The mix up of powers was masterfully done and the execution of the plot and narrative was amazing. The Gohan Black Saga was probably my favorite part of the video. Also loving Vegeta in this story. Thank you for the amazing work!
tbh Vegeta is a rat in this one. to go and train alone at beerus place also another dumb thing was that beerus didnt go to the other saiyans to test them all.
For anyone newly watching this, dw there's no ssj38 ultra egostinct Gokhan or whatever other abominations people have made with the whole TRAPPED what ifs lmao
This is honestly so sad for Gohan we always get mad about how he doesn’t train but he doesn’t like fighting like Goku or Vegeta does. Seeing Gohan just pushing through training to cope with what happened is sad.
Bro, thats even better then an actual dbs story, here Goku finally cares at least about gohan, he feels sorry for him wasting his childhood like that. Everyone go on theirs own path, not "zoo wee mama we, saiyans can go blue and gohan goes to hell cuz his not the mc"
I remember seeing Smugsticks one and it definitely did feel sad how Goku got betrayed by Kami, I even seen his what-if Vegeta was betrayed series and boy was it upsetting to see him betrayed by the woman he ended up getting with. Though I have seen the what-if Goku was betrayed and trapped in the tine chamber for X number of years videos from other channels that end up making Goku a lot more different in personality, throw in Vegeta as a buddy act for a few
And ssj god is above 16million multiplier Because it is stated to be stronger than a fusion, Goku x 40 Vegeta x 100 400 x 100 = 40000 40,000 x 400 16,000,000 Ssj 3 vegito is not enough for beerus Vegito ssj 3 = 16,000,000 Ssj god> ssj 3 vegito
@@superzockertvyt9630 let say there are two people they want to fuse the firsts guy power lvl is x the secound power lvl is y so the fused power will be x times y lets say x is 10000 and y is 10000 so the fused power is 10000000000
I can imagine goku and gohan crying in a couch as piccolo goes "how did that make you feel" ehile using his stretchy arm to grab a box of tissues for them
Your version of Goku and Gohan being trapped in a Time chamber was the most logical. I've seen other versions where it's been due to some type of a betrayal Bud Goku has befriended and earned the respect of darn near every God and his universe and others so I don't see them betraying him or trying to trap him.
This was a wonderful series! I really enjoyed your take on this scenario Salad, even if no one got Betrayed :P The journey Gohan went on to repair the broken pieces of his life was intense and it paid off beautifully in the end. Glad to see him get the happy ending he deserved. Can't wait to see what else you got in store, Salad!
This "trapped in the time chamber" is the best one I've seen. Most of the ones I've seen were pretty meh, and some were simply ridiculous - and completely not in the spirit of Toriyama's Dragon Ball. This one gets a thumbs-up. 👍
This is actually pretty good. Much better than I expected. Especially since you had goku and gohan accidentally trap *themselves* instead of them being betrayed like in so many of the other takes on this kind of story. I also like what you did with vegeta. Though, I feel like he’s almost too nice. Still better than him being too much of a jerk. But still. Makes me wonder what exactly made him change this much.
I think it was because he had respect for Goku and Gohan that they sacrificed so much in order to defeat cell, then he went in and saw exactly what it was like, also remember before he was bitter he could not fight with Goku and Gohan had slacked off, this didn't happen here, leaving Vegeta to just be motivated to get stronger but not in a selfish way, also they did not hide the form from Vegeta, rather they showed him and told him how to achieve it and just left it at that.
@RunicTree He understood the sacrifices the duo made, and that made him respect them more. Rather then just trying to get stronger for petty rivalries sake
It would be an absolute ridiculous amount of work akin to just being a whole fanfiction, but i would love to see a story that is just "what if Cabba and Universe 6 were the main characters of dragon ball"
So happy you did this always love your version of what ifs because you think of it as a whole change and don’t just focused on the main what if subjects.
This was pretty interesting. You should do one where Vegeta and Future Trunks were trapped in the Time Chamber; it could have easily started in the Cell Saga, when they first went in, with Vegeta biting off more than he could chew, and they have to get strong enough in order to escape. Of course, it wouldn't be just a battle of raw power, but also a battle of ideologies between Vegeta and Future Trunks, with the 2 bouncing off each other while also trying to kill each other, but with neither dying.
@@r.k3618 Well, think about it: Vegeta was acting like an asshole throughout the whole Android Saga, because he was far too prideful, even after being humiliated time and time again; imagine trying to put up with that after being trapped with him for years on end. Not to mention in the original story when they were facing Cell, Vegeta didn't expect Trunks to punch him dead in the face, before chasing after Cell; this only angered him further in response, because, again, he was far too prideful. They would try to kill each other at least 1 time while trapped in the time chamber, because of their conflicting ideologies, but neither would really die, because their strength would cause the fight to result in a stalemate; if not a death match, then Trunks at the very least would literally beat some sense into Vegeta.
I would love to know what would have happened if young Goku had been able to stay in the hyperbolic time chamber the whole time when he first started training with Kami.
He probably have a power level between 500 and 750 by the time of the 23rd tournament. Which would lead to an easier match against Piccelo Jr and be about even with Raditz by the time he showed up. After that it gets a bit harder to predict cause Raditz could join them, Goku could go train with king Kai if so his Kaiocannon would be about times 7 or 8 cause he had a head start with the ten times gravity, maybe Kamitells the others to go into the time chamber as well which could boost them to about 6,000 to 8,000 power level. Point is their many ways that can go
I understand having Dabura go for Goku as he would've been the weaker of the two, but I feel as if Gohan would be the better victim for the story. Super's made Goku look like a child with how he drops his guard constantly and is too relaxed, but he learned better than that through DB and DBZ. Gohan is far less experienced, and in this scenario was never humbled by his mistakes against cell. Even so, I feel like neither of them would be caught off guard by Dabura, unless perhaps Babidi used some magic to make him stealthier somehow. Failing that, Vegeta would be a good target as a SSJ2 with an extra year or so of training (assuming Babidi strikes that much earlier, otherwise 2 years extra. Vegeta trained alone in that time anyway)
Technically no one knows what beast it my theory is kinda like how goku and vegeta combined god with super saiyan gohan was probably training to do the same but with 2 and ultimate why i think that is because of the hair really
Honestly tho, i hate these kinds of unrealistic and cringe stories, but i gotta say as someone who has watched all the parts, you did a really good job at this, Salad. It didn't feel too over the top and had the characters grow and develop. So, props to you for that.
I appreciate the ridiculous events taking place in these What Ifs, because while they make little sense considering the personalities of the characters, they are still crazy fun. Unless you pull something like Gohan SSJ being stronger than Gamma 1. Isn't the whole premise of the Androids to be built to be able to effortlessly beat the fighters they had data on at full power? And Cell is supposed to be even beyond that. I mean, that's the whole reason why we got Orange Piccolo and Gohan Beast. In this scenario they should have data on Gohan Beast because its power was sensed throughout earth and he has been training there since. He even fought PU SSJG Vegeta, and you are telling me a mere SSJ is putting Gamma 1 against the ropes?
Something ive entertained in idle ideas was "What if Vegeta was a hybrid" as it would change a lot of things about the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta being prideful, his son Trunks, and maybe even who is top dog in the grand scheme of things. But hey, who knows, maybe it wouldnt change a thing?
Gohan having to repeatedly knock out buu is the funniest shit ever! Just buu waking up then boom Gohan knocks hi out again and again just makes me laugh 🤣
I had a what if idea that’d I’d love to see done. What if Shin trained with Whis? The premise could be something like, after losing the other Kais to Majin Buu, Shin decides that he won’t lose anyone else and he needs to be a better Kai. He contacts Whis to train him to be better and stronger.
didnt finish watching but it crushed me how 2 of my favorite characters lost a piece of themselves. Vegeta - Being the stongest(Goku Rivalry),Gohan - being a scholar Im only at 46:05 so who knows what can happen
Probably not cause when the door breaks it completely separates from the universe and I don't think Goku can travel between universes with instant transmission
Love the video! The only gripe I have with it is that you gave Gohan his new Beast form without giving him his Ultimate form. Beast Gohan is his Ultimate form evolved just like Orange Piccolo is Potential Unleashed Evolved.
@@shakeebhussain8611 No information on any of that. Beast is assumed to be an evolved form of Ultimate/Potential Unleashed, but it is just as likely that Beast Form is Gohan’s own special ability.
nice, full story, also what if the pendulum room was modified to be better, if you watched the third part of what if the z fighters used the time chamber from Plus Ultra man, you'll see why.
Cream cheese includes several closely related products including single cream cheese, double cream cheese, Neufchâtel (spelled Neufchatel in the United States) and bakers' cheese. In Germany, Rahmfrischkäse (‘rahm’ means cream) is a type of single cream cheese while Doppelrahmfrischkäse is a type of double cream cheese. Cheeses that are closely related to cream cheese are produced in other countries, e.g. Petit-Suisse, Gournay, Bondard, Fromage à la crème and Carré (means square) frais in France (some of these cheeses have a white surface mould). In the US Standards of Identity, cream cheese must contain a minimum of 33% fat and a maximum of 55% moisture. Cream cheese is very popular in the United States, with total sales worth approx. US$750 million during 1999. Neufchâtel cheese must contain ≥20% but less than 33% fat and a maximum of 65% moisture. Bakers' cheese is produced in the United States and widely used in the bakery and confectionary trades; hence its name. It is made from skim milk and has a soft, dry, pliable curd. Neufchâtel cheese is made from milk containing 5% fat but otherwise by a procedure similar to cream cheese; owing to its lower fat content, it has a grainier body and is less smooth than cream cheese. Manufacturing Procedures Single (fat) cream cheese is made from milk with a fat content of 3-3.5% while double cream cheese is made from milk containing 8-14% fat. Milk is standardized and homogenized (e.g. 12-17 MPa at 50 °C) and cooled to ∼31 °C for a short-set (incubation time, ∼5 h) or ∼22 °C for a long-set procedure (incubation time, 12-16 h). Starter is added (e.g. 2%); the level depends on the incubation period and temperature. At the end of incubation, the pH is 4.7-4.8. In some processes a small amount of rennet may be added (e.g. 5 ml of standard rennet per 1000 litres milk) with the starter but is not essential. The gel is broken using agitators and heated to 40-55 °C (to encourage syneresis and efficient separation), when whey is separated from the curd using either a cream cheese separator or UF (operating temperature is usually 50-55 °C to reduce viscosity while concentrating). Traditionally, whey was drained using cloth bags. There are two main product types, cold-pack and hot-pack. In the manufacture of cold-pack cream cheese, after whey separation, the cold curd (∼10-12 °C) is salted, stabilizers are added and the product is packaged. Typically, around 0.3% of a combination of several stabilizers, such as locust bean gum, guar gum, xanthan gum and carrageenan, is added. Stabilizers are added to help prevent syneresis and the appearance of free moisture on the surface of the product during storage. In some cream cheese products, whey protein concentrates are also added as a stabilizer. In the hot-pack process, the curd is mixed with salt and stabilizers in kettles or scraped-surface heated vats and heated to 65-70 °C. The hot curd (∼65-70 °C) is then pumped into packages, in which it subsequently cools. The curd is sometimes heated to as high as 80 °C to aid in the mechanical separation of whey and this further heat treatment may be given to the curd in a tubular heater. Instead of going through a tubular heater, the hot (∼70-75 °C) product may be homogenized at 12-15 MPa. Cream cheese is also made by direct acidification (using organic acids) of milk. Equipment Essential equipment for cold-pack cream cheese and Neufchâtel includes: basic mix pasteurizing vats, homogenizer, plate surface or tubular heat exchangers, fermentation vats, balance tanks, mechanical separator or UF unit, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fillers, blenders and packaging lines. Tubular heat exchangers are often used to cool the viscous cheese for cold-pack products. For hot-pack cream cheese, large jacketed vats with agitators or a scraped-surface heat exchanger and an additional homogenizer for the hot mix are required also. Double cream cheese separators have a different design to quark separators because the higher fat content results in the whey being heavier and ejected towards the bowl wall and the cheese product being ejected towards the centre. Texture and Defects If the pH of the cheese is too high (i.e. >4.7), the texture will be soft and the cheese will lack flavour. At a very low pH (
My God, the ending to this was so good I would love to see this animated even though you know, literally impossible. This was a good one. Had me engaged the whole time. Saiyaman Squad😂💯
Actually love this. Lot of the other what if they got trapped stories suck, and even if well enough written usually makes no sense people would betray goku like that
That’d be interesting, tbh I think everyone would be killed by Cell besides Vegeta and Trunks depending on how long they were trapped in there for and AGAIN depending on if Krillin pushed the damn remote
Hmm... y'know, I kinda wonder, 'What if Nappa was smart?'. Think about it; a lot of the events the Saiyans were involved in had him in a sort've "executive" position, where he just let things happen until he got arrogant and killed off by Vegeta. From the destruction of Planet Vegeta, to the events of the Saiyan Saga. If Nappa weren't dumb, then, much like the Saibamen he plants, he could've done several small things that would grow into a viable threat in no time at all. Not trusting Frieza on Planet Vegeta. Not giving his opponents a chance on Earth. _Not being warned about Goku by Vegeta and ignoring the warning._ Hell, he could've even convinced Vegeta to fight Goku from the get-go, instead of "after Nappa falls". Just needed a bit of cunning.
11:00 I think they coulda just wished for the years lost to be added onto the end of their lifespan instead, even if just for Gohan. Asking for a handful of years instead of immortality is definitely doable.
Instead of adding extra years to the end they could just ask to pause their aging temporarily. That way Gohan could catch back up in his studies without any negative side effects.
a few what if ideas: "what if gohan died instead of goku during the cell games" "what if saiyans never had tails" "what if goku or vegeta never had children" (maybe doesnt apply to the future timeline so that there is plot progression) "what if mr. satan actually had strength comparable to the z-fighters" (and it passed down to videl too)
only "what if goku and ___ were trapped in the time chamber?"i wanted to watch since i know this is a db what if quality assurance channel so i trusted it and i enjoyed it
2 Ideas. 1) What if Piccolo, Goten, Trunks and Super Buu COULDN'T escape - and trained for an eternity, kept alive by Buus powers just so he won't get mad from loneliness? 2) what if Vegeta and Trunks were trapped? Same base as in this WhatIf, but those two saiyans have much different personalities. Trunks would kill Cell and save his timeline, but Geets? Who knows. Perhaps another What If Mini?
you do realise if trunks and vegeta were trapped everyone would be dead right? no vegeta or trunks means cell gets his perfect form and the only one thats a z fighter even a percentage strong as cell at this point is piccolo, and he lost badly to cell In his FIRST FORM. even if vegeta and trunks were to escape cell would of 100% already blown up earth and once vegeta and trunks find a way to exit they would just exist into the vacuum of space dying themselves and if they saw the portal led to space they might of just stayed In the room forever eventually going crazy and killing each other. the only possibility is goku noticing vegeta and trunks not leaving decides to take piccolo himself tenshinhan and Gohan to king kais planet, then they go to new namek and who knows what would happen there, the dragon balls aint able to do nun to cell so they are literally doomed In this outcome no matter what
tbh the only what-if creator im willing to watch with this scenario, 'cause salad doesnt make 69 quintillion parts with bullshit like SSJ 58 FULL POWER MAX ULTRA GOD FINAL BEAST, smh
Lifelong dbz fan but it truly got watered down after the buu sage no transformation is really all that important because it gets surpassed literally immediately the red original God form shoulda been the end of it and building off that
