Ah, so that's how Goku gets the Ultimate Form here makes sense for this idea to work. 👍 Although Goku having the Ultimate Form wouldn't be as power as Gohan with Ultimate because Gohan's latent potential is higher than Gokus, but still Ultimate Goku would definitely curb stomp anybody at this point in the story. 🤔 I'm just hoping with Goku alive again, and after defeating the Androids, he will help rebuild Gohan's confidence through training with him here. 👍 Anyways another good start to this story, and will check out the next part.

Good story telling. I was surprised this was the future version. I was expecting trunks to go back in time and the supreme kai comes to inspect the time traveler which would be how Goku meets him. Now I wonder what's gonna happen to cell

The ultimate form has to be more than the max form of the user because later on we see gohan is equal to that of base goku and later on we see he powers up to ultimate and now he is on the level of ssjg to ssjb levels of power without having any god ki or god form so it has to be more than that

Having Vegeta stop training after Goku's death is a dumb idea, sure Goku is his "goal-post" but the Prince of All Saiyans has his pride to uphold and if anything, Goku's death should actually push Vegeta into training harder than before cause the man who used to be princes rival died as a weakling, succumbing to a virus and not dying a noble death like a true Saiyan warrior. Also Goku's death should serve as epithany for Vegeta meaning it would change Vegeta for the good and make him Earths sworn protector in honor of rival who changed his arrogant life. That's where Toriyama messed up Vegeta for real

The ultimate form really has a bit of a stamina drain because if you pay attention to it in the fight against cell max when gohan's tired he revers back in ssj and only after piccolo gived him a senzu that he retrasformed in ultimate
