Canon-Bulma could’ve left Vegeta any time during their time as a couple all because of his stubborn attitude, but she didn’t. She stayed faithful to him and worked him into shape. I think this Bulma should do the same with Goku. She’s known him for far too long to end their relationship, and he does do his part as a good husband and father. What-If Bulma shouldn’t leave Goku. As for Trunks, you said it yourself, Masako. Future Bulma would’ve been upset if Trunks changed his feelings towards Goku and friends all just because he ended up in an alternate universe with different outcomes. They’re still the same friends they’ve known for years. She would encourage Trunks to suck it up and go help Goku in the past regardless of his relationship with Bulma.

I was thinking Bulma actually enjoys her marriage to Goku than vegeta, that's why she spoke to trunks about Goku more than vegeta so she was he was his son instead of Vegeta.

So we have Goku and Bulma's marriage starting to strain, Future Trunks considering allowing Goku to drop dead, and Bulma being tempted to cheat on her husband with Vegeta. I don't like this timeline.
Bulma doesn’t cheat on Goku, but she does get pregnant with Goku’s second child. Future Trunks comes back to see Bulma holding a baby girl with Goku’s hair named... Trunks.

Even if the strain itself didn't kill him, he'd get maybe one short burst to get one shot in on Frieza and then he'd be so drained of stamina and ki that he'd be a sitting duck. And, assuming the Spirit Bomb did kill Frieza, they'd be screwed when they got back to Earth because 19 and 20 would kill them all, as no one would be a Super Saiyan and capable of taking them out.
Bulma better not "give in to temptation" I mean, Vegeta and Bulma is cool and all, but it's extremely obvious it only happened to make Trunks happen, that's not necessary in this timeline, so don't do it
I don't think she'd cheat on Goku considering how long they've had a family now and all. After she married Vageta in the normal time line Bulma kinda chilled out, plus she wasn't married to Yamcha, just in a on again off again kinda thing. *shurg* I just think breaking them up over Trunks kinda ruins the entier point of the scenario if you ask me.
While I do like Goku and Bulma having issues I still want them together. I think it might help if Trunks tells them his version of history. I think Trunks should talk will HIS mother before going back to see how she feels about this. Also, I would love to see Bulma coming back in time to meet this Bulma that made different choices...and if she does I think Future Bulma and Vegeta could get together. I would love if Vegeta goes to the future with trunks to help protect their earth...I mean...What else is there for Vegeta in the present without a family to keep him calm?
Nightwing Shadow95 Bulma has always tried to use flirting for her advantage. Of course as smart as she is technologically her attempts in the flirtation department generally don’t work. Initially she was legitimately interested in people like General Blue or Zarbon but for people like Beerus/Whis and especially Zamasu...she flirts only for her sake at that point. She’s loyal to Vegeta just a bit of a Vixen is all, if someone did take to her advances and pursue more (like she doesn’t plan for) well...chances are she’d be screaming for Vegeta to save her.
If Bulma gives in to her temptation with Vegeta I have a feeling things aren't going to end well once Goku finds out, I think Saiyans are very territorial when it comes to their mates and just might go into a rage like he did with Freeza to kill the prince. Also if Trunks took his time to think about this whole situation I think he would figure out that he just not meant to exist in this partial timeline and still help them cause he's main goal is to stop the androids in a different timeline.
Regardless of what's happened in the Present Timeline, Trunks dooms his timeline if he doesn't go back in time & get stronger. Only way for him to win without the extra training is if the Androids just have an extremely bad day where they make tons of mistakes that give Trunks the upper hand. Besides, it'd be interesting to see how he interacts with the others, especially Gohan.
I just had a thought, technically wouldn't Future Trunks be Gohan's older (half) brother in this case? If so then there is real potential for some sibling bonding since Trunks has so much respect for future Gohan.
He'd still be the younger brother as his birth year is after gohan's he'd just happen to be older at the moment because of time travel. As far as Trunks goes though due to him being a contemporary of Goten he can still come to pass as the fraternal or identical twin of Goten, or they become a single person with traits from both who'd be named Trunks.
OMFG.......imagine goku black arc when goku learns future bulma was killed even though goku didn't marry bulma in that timeline the love is still there.....OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH this could be interesting ...when masako reaches the goku black arc with this what if he has got to give Goku like ssgssrage against goku black killing himthen Zamasu arrives and seeing black has died Zamasu realizes he has to stay in his normal body cause zamasu's immortality was negated after he swapped bodies with goku.... when zamasu and black fused they basically negated the immortality
I can see F-Trunks (Only-Trunks in this case) having the kind of relationship with Alt-Gohan that Rachel Summers had with Nathan, the alt-timeline half-brother who eventually became Cable. To paraphrase Jor-El, the Imouto becomes the Onii-Chan. I understand why Masako sticks with F-Trunks when doing most of these, but I still would have been intrigued by the changed future. Speaking of changes, Cell will have no 'Frost Demon' DNA in him - at least the one from this timeline that they likely end up destroying anyway. I'm not going to engage in Chi-Chi-bashing, since I agree with her canon-premise for Gohan while still finding her difficult, but I would have thought that the tug-of-war childhood main-Gohan had would cause rage issues, while Bulma's easy going 'sure, train!' approach would be a safety valve.
Captain Pacifist I agreed. Maybe if Bulma married Vegeta, gohan wouldn't take it lightly, and Goku might stay in the afterlife and marry princess snake (in the anime he mentioned she was cute).
I think after Bulma sees Goku about to die, she remembers back to when they were young and all the good times they had and how much she truly loves him. Goku in the meantime (like the anime) has visions of Cell killing his family, triggering in him a bigger sense of familial duty and care. This would then lead to the conception of Trunks (Bulma deciding to name him after the boy from the future) Trunks I believe would return, he wouldn't want people to suffer like he did at the hands of the Andriods. This gets him time to spend with Vegeta who Trunks reveals that the Prince is his Father. After some convincing, Vegeta believes him but Trunks refuses to tell him who is mother is, not wanting to ruin the lives of Goku and Bulma. This then jumpstarts Vegeta to try to preemptively figure out who his future mate is (he would take out of the picture the already married ones, Vegeta not desiring being second) This causes him to mistakenly assume Launch (who is currently following Tien around and being rejected) is the one. Her fiery temper (atleast in her bad side) is almost Saiyan like, she is a woman after his own heart, doing what she wants when she wants.
I think Vegeta respect himself he would reject the flirt of Bulma bcs he know that Bulma is the wife of Goku he has too much pride to steal the wife of the saiyan who fight belong him and considerate as a rival
Ok I'm gonna be honest here, if Bulma was to give up into the temptation it probably would be on the seven years Goku is dead as a way to cope, not while she is still with him and he is very much alive. And I also do think Vegeta and her wouldn't really end together, because Vegeta would always think he is second to best in Bulma's heart. As for Trunks returning.... I think be would return, yeah. His character is that way, I think he would reason with himself that even if he doesn't exist he can ensure that everyone he loves lives happily. That's a pretty selfless thought and I can relate his character to it tbh. I really like this series btw Masako, hahaha probably my favorite.

Even though I think Trunks would never leave this timeline and never come back because he is a kind hearted guy. I'm extremely interested in what would happen during the Goku Black Arc of this timeline if Trunks would selfishly decide to never return. Would we get Trunks Black somehow? Or would we get an extremely angsty, and distant Trunks who regretfully returns to this timeline for help, or a Trunks who would return to the timeline with a vengeance so he could kill the Goku of this timeline with this timeline's Vegeta, so Goku Black would no longer exist. Future Trunks did violently lash out when he first saw Goku again because he thought it was Black, and but with the added angst of Goku stealing his mom from his dad would be so tragically and selfishly intense.
Can't see Bulma cheating. With Vegeta she wasn't even WITH him at first, since he seemed to just get her pregnant then skip town for months to train, but she still stayed faithful to him with the likes of her first love always present in her life. Shes loved goku for years now, and as fiery and hot headed as Bulma is, she is even more so loyal.

I say he does come back. He comes back and at the end of the arc, leaves, Vegeta tagging along with him so that they can defeat the Androids together. Vegeta stays there and marries Future Bulma.

I think Trunks would come back. He's the earnest type, so his guilt wouldn't let him do anything else. I'm not quite sure what he'll do if he learns that this Bulma is attracted to Papa Troll Doll, though.
I don't me any disrespect Masako, but wouldn't having a Future Goten make more sense than a Future Trunks in this situation? I know Goten isn't supposed to be born until later down the line, but having Future Trunks travel to a reality where the past is so radically different from the past he knows of doesn't really make as much sense as when Future Trunks travelled to the timeline in Super where he met Kid Trunks. If Goku had survived a little bit longer in the original timeline, then Goten could have been born and with Bulma being his mother, it would be natural for him to be the one to time travel. I actually came up with something similar when I came up with the idea for "The History of Goten and Trunks."
andrew garrett This is technically an "anchor" situation to our original present timeline. As Future Trunks came from a different timeline in the original where 19 and 20 didn't exist and 17 and 20 were weaker. The anchor is the same except the small change in this timeline is Goku not acknowledging Chi Chi.
Talk about a missed opportunity. Imagine if Future Gohan showed up. We could see how Gohan has handled his saiyan rage and we could have some scenes with him bonding with his younger self, who's going through a tough time trying to figure himself out. It could be like the interactions between Trunks and Future Trunks in Super, but even better.
Doubt much would change though. He still be destroyed by Frieza and Kakkarot goes to Earth and the DB and DBZ story still goes on like normal, only with Vegeta's "brilliant scientist" being true.
I would say he would be smart enough to know that he doesn't stand a chance against Freeza he would his family , have some space pods and destroy the scouters so Freeza doesn't know where they're

I doubt she would become a fighter (Chi-Chi is her mother, after all, and her father is barely able to survive his fights), but she could become a potential supporting character (becoming Bulma's apprentice?) or love interest for one of the younger characters.
This is brilliant so far. I’m on the edge of my seat the whole time from beginning to end. I want this relationship to continue to the end, but the way things are going, I always wait for the next part in earnest. Also, I commend you for that name. Tousa. That’s just brilliant!
This is still future Trunks's best chance to meet and get to know his father, so I definitely reckon he would come back - though it might be for less altruistic reasons, and it may leave him feeling like he has nothing left when Vegeta rejects him.
I don't think bulma would give into a temptation. She never did with vegeta and I'm sure they had their rough patches, I like to think that they'd stay happily together the whole way through. Besides, their relationship had been successful until now! Its gonna take a heck of a lot more than a fit Saiyan to make Bulma cheat
I voted "yes". He might be from a different timeline, but let's not forget who gives Trunks orders. His mom. And do you think Future Bulma would give up on a world she can save, where she's not exactly the same but still herself? So what if she married Goku, so what if there is no Trunks? She still created the time machine to make a future with hopes and dreams instead of fears and nightmares of Androids. What could possibly make her change her mind? Trunks be like "But mom, I don't wanna go back. You're with Goku, not dad, I'm not gonna be born, Master Gohan is completely different..." and Bulma be like "Oh stop whining, what if the roles were reversed? don't you think we should give them a chance we didn't have? they might need your help, and if things go well they could come with you to help us!"...
The beans don't work on wounds that have already healed over. In this case Vegeta's eyes were freshly wounded. Plenty of time for the bean. But something like Future Gohan's lost arm. It had already been healed over. He'd need it to be wished back.
Of course Trunks would come back, wouldn't he want to know if he ended up being born or not? I also don't think Bulma would cheat on Goku. She might break up with him and subsequently get together with Vegeta if Goku proved unbearable / put everyone in danger one too many times, but she doesn't strike me as the type to give in to sexual desire over the safety of her marriage and her son's mental health.
Future Trunks should come back for sure, he needs to get stronger to defeat the Androids in his time still after all. And there's no better way to get stronger then to come back and train with the rest of the Z-fighters. And Bulma does NOT give in to temptation. If she cheats on Goku with Vegeta that'll completely derail and ruin this otherwise very good what if.
If anything trunks could still potentially exist in this timeline, just not as Vegeta's son. I mean who knows maybe later bulma could have twins, with one of them being trunks.
Or what if Trunks could still be Vegeta’s son, but not Bulma’s? Future Bulma could have adopted him after that timeline’s fallout, but not told him who his biological mother is.
I actually made my own comment about that, in DB Multiverse there was a Trunks that was Yamcha and Bulma's son. So why can't Goku have his own Trunks with Bulma?

I think Trunks would still come back, especially if he tells his mother what's happened in that time line, you could also potentially introduce Bulma's sister into this what if as someone for Vegeta to get with, she takes a lot after her sister after all, but it could be interesting if Bulma cheats on Goku seeing as how that could potentially spark some anger towards Vegeta, especially if he only finds out, say, around the Buu saga?
dude its not just ssj2 with diff aura, it definitely had some god ki, it could keep up with rose and zamasu, likely acquired through fighting with vegeta

First of all props for all these episodes, especially coming up with names. Anyway I VERY much think that future Trunks is too good hearted and too curious to not come back to the past, although his questioning nature may make him suspicious of the time machine's capabilities, and strain his relationship with both future and present day Bulma and Goku. ("Has the time machine malfunctioned? Is there something mother hasn't told me?")
Hey man you could simply have trunk become the son of bulma's sister tights and Vegeta instead of Bulma and Vegeta this would make Trunks and Gohan cousins and well in all of your videos I don't think I've ever heard you mention tights who is Cannon after all since she's mentioned in Dragon Ball super numerous times

After video thoughts: 1) Trunks' future still has androids, so he needs to be stronger: or he comes back or he trains alone (or goes to neo Namek to resurrect people died many years before) 2) It would had been intresting to see the continuation with a blinded Vegeta, that (without the sense of sight) must rely on the other senses... Future timeline: Goku dies from the heart virus and a distraught Bulma seeks comfort in Vegeta. This results in the conception of Trunks (although about a year later than the in the original timeline). Making Trunks and Gohan 1/2 brothers

I think Future Trunks would come back as it be the wishes of his mother. Though perhaps it may turn out to be an envious pseudo sibling rivalry for the time traveler?
Since Frieza didn’t come to earth in this one, this timeline’s Cell would be free of his cells and influence. Could even have a chance of reforming him. Future Cell would still be as is though.
He'd go back. Even if he hesitates, Bulma would find out something's bothering him and convince him to go back regardless. It may not be *his* world, but it would still be tragic if it turned out the same as the one he's in. Edit: Plus, he's still not strong enough to defeat the androids or cell yet. Even if he can't save Goku and the others in his world, he at least needs a way to stop the androids.

Masako! I'd love to see a what if video on what if you appeared in Yamcha's body during dragon ball, like in that comic. I think it'll be really interesting to see how you think this would change events, and also interesting to see if you can become a powerhouse as Yamaha using your knowledge of the DBZ universe. Ground rules: no wishing yourself stronger, immortal or into a stronger race or other hacky wish related methods of getting stronger Objective: Keep up with the Saiyans in terms of strength and contribute to victories in significant ways.
I have been enjoying this series immensely. This is a serious thought that I have pondered ever since I watched all of Dragonball for the first time. I really appreciate the fact that you are taking the time to do this. I voted that trunks shouldn't come back, as I believe it would make for a more interesting story. As for how I feel about Bulma looking to Vegeta for comfort, I am extremely against this idea. I really don't believe in this scenario you have created that Bulma would waver in her faithfulness to Goku after years and years of friendship and love. She is strong willed, as you said, and would resolve to get through the tough time she is dealing with, and hopefully see that everything works out in the end. She is also intelligent, as you said, and would see that even though Gohan's rage is dangerous, he is absolutely not beyond help and just needs his parents to be there for him and help him through the situation. Bulma doesn't need a moment of weakness like that to simply have a reason to add trunks to the story, I would much prefer seeing what you do in the story without him being a thing. Ultimately, your decision, but I had to say something since you asked lol.
Why would Trunks fear the past continuity? If Bulma didn’t birth Trunks then he wouldn’t of been able to go back to see that she is married to Goku, and then he wouldn’t of feared that he wouldn’t be born. And the threat of not being born would not have come to Trunks because he wasn’t born. But he is born and therefore saw that they were married and so does not need to fear anything at all.
It's actually much simpler than that (and more complex at the same time). Trunks is from an alternate timeline altogether. Even in the canon timeline, it's shown that no matter what Trunks does to fix the past, his timeline's future is already set and can't be changed by him going back.
I think Future Trunks does come back. But you know Trunks is born not long before Goten in DBZ so I think like how Goten was born when Goku died rescuing everyone from the cell explosion so maybe instead of Goten it's going to be Son Trunks (Goku's second son) and knowing Bulma she'll think of another way to stop Goku from dying so Goku will be more prominent in Son Trunks life than Goten's. I also like what your doing with Yamcha in this series keeping him doing his martial arts training. Hopefully this will be good for the story

CrystalGreymon , check it itd be so fitting if launch ended up with vegita after launch came over to bulmas for some tea or something and noticed vegita training she sneezes and blonde haired launch comes out and has the hots for a sweaty fiery vegita they end up dating , with their fiery relationship the way that it is all their problems end up being taken care of in the bedroom so a child comes , she suggests naming it tango ( tango is basically goten), the child comes out and about the time hes walking and talking they realize he has the same condition as launch , so they name the other personality trunks . eventually training with vegita he learnz to control it in battle at least and a 3rd personality is born when both trunks and tango are in sync his name is gotanks .
Why not make Goten and Trunks twins? It’d be hilarious, Trunks would come first, because we all know that Trunks would play the “I was born a few minutes earlier so that makes me the older brother” card, it’d be hilarious 🤣
Plus it would make their Gotenks Far more in sync than the original Gotenks, they’d most likely be a bit more powerful since they’d be even closer in age, height, and power levels
I think i could get into the mind set, i went back in time, ended up in another timeline, realized i don't exist but my mothers friends still exist, i go back and tell her of the latest development, i think she would try to encourage trunks to go back, it may not be their past, Goku may have only been just her friend but she still cares about him, she still cares about Vegeta even if they are in another timeline. i think in the end Trunks would head back per his mothers wishes. at some point while he is back maybe it slips and Trunks reveals that he is Bulma and Vegeta's kid from a different timeline and his Master Gohan was Goku and Chichi's kid. could lead to some interesting character interactions. sayians have a different concept of marriage after all. Bulma gets the 2 sayians to share her? she gets both her beef cakes and gets 2 sons

future Gohan should come back. in the original trunk's visit altered the original timeline, creating a new one, he doesn't technically go to a new multiverse... also awesome story man. love tuning in for this
