What if Walt never fell for Jesse’s text message? This is one that I always think about. Jack would’ve never killed Hank and Walt wouldn’t give Hank the proof he needed to arrest him.

I personally think that Walt would be more hurt by Hanks death considering how he reacted when Hank actually died in the series and what he did for revenge.

The only issue with this, in the actual story, Skyler knew Walt had something to do with the Twins attacking Hank and told him he would never be forgiven for it. So if Hank had been killed, well, she would want nothing to do with him ever again.

bittersweet ending considering that walt did not deserve an easy way out (or even a happy way out) but Jesse did, however, deserve it

I don't agree with your ideas: 1. Marie. When Hank's life hang on a thread, she was anxious and irritated to having to wait in the hospital. When Hank was confirmed dead, she was immediately shattered. This would be the case here. No family reunion at the hospital. Just Skyler accompanying her to the morgue to identify her husband's body. 2. Skyler. The hospital scene was one of the first where Skyler decided to lie for Walt in order to fix the situation. She was informed of the danger but stick to her story to launder the money. But she was only just starting to accept her role. Seeing Mary so devastated would turn the balance almost like in Ozymandias: The cartel killed Hank and Skyler would want to know how much Walt was responsible for destroying the family. Losing Hank is not a sacrifice she'd be willing to shrug off. Marriage counseling, divorce plans, all that would go to the next round. Where it goes from there, I don't foresee, but no more pretent family harmony. 3. DEA. They were quite lucky that Hank survived. But with Hank dead, there would be much more pressure on the investigations of this shootout. Probably an external high-ranking agent would look into the Salamancas and find some of Hank's leads. What with Skyler being so vulnerable, I could imagine the DEA discovering Walt's activities. This was always Hank's blind spot. Someone reviewing Hank's files might not be blind on that eye. The show would end early and unsatisfyingly.

Imagining Heisenberg and Gus teaming up to take down the cartel now and I really wanna see that lol

I think it would be interesting to see a variation where both the twins survive and walter would try to cook up a plan to kill them, (and succeed). This would result in either gus finding out walt killed the twins, getting mad and threatening his family (this would result in the original death of gus, only difference is that walt would stop cooking after the danger his family was in) or gus would realise walters capabilities at assasinating and work together to stop the salamanca's (this would result in the ending shown in this video)

Not sure if this has been recommended yet, but what if Combo survived could be a good one to do. His death preemptively causes many of the events in the show.

What if Jesse didn't meet Andrea He wouldn't find out about Combo's Killers and thus they wouldn't be killed by Walt. Walter and Jesse aren't enemies with Gus and at this point the timeline is like the end of this one

Can you do one of “if walt saved jane”. I feel like her and jesse wouldve moved away and spent all their money on drugs and eventually die of overdose and walt would’ve just worked peacefully for gus with gale and would have no issues, jesse wouldn’t be around to narc, and walt could’ve gotten away with it

(Or Howard never showed up) What if Jimmy and Kim bailed on the Howard scam last minute (Like Jimmy suggested) What if Walt never saw Jesse at the ride along?

I think Hank dying like this would leave to a worse ending than this, like Skyler blamed Walt for Hank's injury, right? Now imagine Hank's death, she'd think Walt had something to do with it and would be placed in similar situation to her in season 5: being terrified of him, and she may even tell everyone about Walt's criminal activities. As for Walt, he wouldn't get over Hank's death so quickly, we saw how willing he was to save him in Season 4 and 5, and he'd assume Gus had something to do with it and would potentially try do make some moves to get closer into finding out the truth or just flat out taking him out... well, no actually given Gus shares the Salamanca Story and that convinces Walt that they were fully responsible... As for Jesse, well... idk, I think Thomas would've still potentially been killed by Gus and the events of full measure could've still went down, but Walt wouldn't have to kill Gus bc there was no Hank to threaten his operation and the 2 would just never talk again... unless Gus made Walt his slave like Jack did with Jesse... Long story short, I don't think Hank's death would lead to a very good outcome imo.

This might be my favorite hypothetical for the series. Yeah it sucks Hank dies even though he didn't deserve it. But Walt makes as much money as he could ever want, his family *mostly* doesnt hate him, and his life never truly falls apart. Jesse also gets to have a good life and Gus gets his full revenge

What if Skyler told Hank or Marie, Walter was in the meth business when she found out? Instead of keeping it a secret, so Walter wouldn't most likely get locked up.

I think you made the situation to nonchalant if Walter heard that Hank died he would sit in the hospital chair and cry for hours knowing that he is indirectly responsible. And I don’t believe that skyler would have kept Walt’s secret any longer when she understood that her loved family members could possibly be in harms way. If she were to keep the secret (in fear of Walt or others) Walter would definitely stop working for gus and be in that depressive state (the one we saw in New Hampshire) for the rest of his short life.

Imagine if Walt and Fring actually did become close and good friends, they could quietly rule the world

Could you do a second version of this where Marco survives and the Salamanca cousins escape. It's a worse ending i know but i think it's a bit more realistic, especially because if that arms dealer didn't throw Marco the bullet Hank would've died, furthermore i'd like to see how that would effect Gus's plan to take out the cartel and Hector with them both being deadly hitmen enforcers who would not go down easily.

Here’s one that I thought of, what if Gus survived the bomb assassination that Walter set up? What if he actually managed to notice quickly, and run out of the room before the bomb goes off, and only Hector and Tyrus die, what would he do from there?

If the story went this route, we would have never been introduced to minerals.

What if Gus's plan to poison the Cartel didn't go through? He did so much in advance such as taking the medicine even when taking the poisoned alcohol with Don Eladio and his crew. Jesse stepped up in that bit taking out the grandson who shot Mike so when Mike told Jesse "Either we all go home or no of us are" means something.

I think this is a really cool and interesting what if. It's really surprising to see just how drastic of an effect one seemingly small(ish) change can have on the entire series as a whole. I'd have never expected for the death of Hank to be what could potentially lead to Jessie actually getting the happy ending he deserved. Here's a Salamanca related What If? I would like to see you potentially explore: What if Walt actually killed Tuco when he went exploded that fake meth in Season one, and to save his ass bluffed his way into becoming the new Don of the area? Later being recruited by the Salamanca's, as while he did take out one of their own, it would be extremely impressive that he was able to so quickly take over Tuco's duties with such efficiency. Especially with the quality of product that Walt would be making. Or, if Gus heard of what Walt had done, and recruited him in his war to destroy the Salamanca's forever? I think either way could be a really interesting take.

I think it's funny that Hank has to die in order for almost everyone else to have a happy ending.

The axe wouldn't need to land on him for him to die. If his leg is cut off like that he'd bleed out in seconds

This ending, Walt could’ve kept his pride shut and admit how he loved to chemistry cook and enjoyed it. For his family to gain something long term at his end.

I mean the whole "too easy" thing just seemed contrived and forced. Even if Hank had loaded the bullet into his gun as he hid and then was faster than Marco, it would have been more convincing. Like no, sorry. I don't care how much of a flare for the dramatic you have―if the guy who killed your cousin is right there and you have a loaded gun, you are taking the shot. It was definitely one of the show's weaker moments and it stands out as being significantly below the usual Breaking Bad caliber.

I'm very very positive that not only would the trail to Heisenberg run cold forever but Walt would feel a crap load of guilt in ever getting involved with Gus and his empire and that the guilt would eat away at him. Jesse no doubt would feel great, considering after getting his ass whooped by Hank no less than two episodes ago. I'm in huge belief that Gus would have rid the twins soon after regardless, I mean his war against the Salamancas is understandably personal so that's two less Salamancas. Overall tho, Walt would never get caught and cook as much until the day he died and his family's future is secured

What if Jesse sided with Gus and Mike instead of Walter? The time being after Jesse found out about Brock being in the hospital, he’d call Gus instead, assuming that Walter had poisoned Brock. This would give Gus the go ahead to kill Walter.

What if Hank didn't kill Marco? (1/3) Gus tries to alert Hank that Marco and Leonel are coming, but he laughs it off completely as a prank, or he doesn't answer the phone at all. Hank sees two sharply dressed bald men walking past him. If he was with Gomey or Walt Jr. he'd crack a joke and say "Hey check these two guys out- They're like Mexican agent 47, eh?" or "Look at these two guys, chrome domes and chrome suits huh?" Instead, as Hank was leaving, Leonel has the foresight to bring gun surpressors north of the border. Hank hears the shot- In the real world supressors don't make a gun silent, just harder to identify as a gunshot, but Hank recognizes it from his DEA training. An instant later, he feels a sharp, searing pain in the back of his neck through his throat. Hank's been shot in the vocal chords. Gasping for air and choking on blood, he tries to back up and find the guy who shot him, but between the burning pain, Hank's choking on his own blood, and the fact he's driving in reverse, he misses both twins completely. When Marco and Leonel were getting their hollow point bullets, their dealer correctly assumed they were from México and told them that being done fast is the name of the game in the States. Marco walks to Hank, Hank's eyes already glassy, and slits his throat before putting a supressed .45 to Hank's forehead and pulling the trigger. They leave before the cops get there, and if there are any witnesses, "A couple of bald guys dressed conservatively who had facial hair" just about sums up a quarter of the men in Albuquerque. They return down south, but not before telling Don Hector that the man who killed Tuco is dead.

Walter White's "I AM THE DANGER" speech is a little misinterpreted I feel. Yes, he can *be* dangerous, but he's also the biggest victim of his pride. Walter should have died several times over in the series. The people who could have killed him like the many Salamancas, Mike, or Gus, had bigger fish to fry. Walter's easiest prey were Gail, the two gangsters, and Brock. He's a giant insecure bully.

This is honestly a better ending, I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s sad that Hank dies, one of the good guys, but Walt doesn’t become corrupt, overrun by the money, Gus lives (as well as Mike) and Walt’s family gets the money. It’s perfect. Also, Jesse getting the life he wants is the cherry on top.

The best ending for breaking bad Walt’s family doesn’t hate him completely and he gets to live out his final days at his full happiness cooking with zero bad blood between Jesse Gus Mike Jesse gets out and has a family while being clean in a completely new country Gus frings empire spreads across America all the way into the Carolinas hell even some parts of the world with so much money coming in and in typical Gus style he has been smart with it making sure the right people get paid and stay paid so yeah this is the best ending it only requires hank to die a brutal death but he goes out swinging

i never understood it Walt said to Gale the entire its you not me after the good releationship they built he could've said "yeah my old partner Jesse Pinkman is you're replacement but the reason why is bc he got beat up by my brother in law and now he wants to haunt my brother in law for the rest of his life and get him fired and he wants to see him die and this was the only way to help my brother in law i hope you understand" to be fair he should've told Gale the truth but i kept thinking about this idea *what if Jesse died instead of Jane* and *what if the salamanca twins picked up walt and jesse before hank arrived*
