Let's say to balance it out and keep USSR in the same side as the allies, by making poland take the communist route and seek for Soviet aid since they feel threatened by the germans for taking land of theirs. The polish become a satellite soviet republic but they cede its most eastern states to the USSR and they get cored. Continuing with the partition of Europe, baltic countries become communist and join commintern in hopes that they end up in rather better terms like the poles did instead of being fully annexed. Finally, Finland becomes fascist and join Axis and Sweden joins Axis as well by following the obedient reichskommissariat path in fears of suffering the same fate of Finland and seeing them becoming safer under Axis protection makes them finally turn to that direction. All of this in the 1936 start date, of course

To continue Europe's partition, let's say that for balance and to be more or less realistic, Poland becomes communist as a reaction from ceding those territories to Germany, in an attempt to find safety under the USSR. In exchange for joining Comintern, Poland has to cede its most eastern states to the Soviet Union and they get cored by the soviets and also Poland becomes a satellite. The baltics do the same. In fear of the Soviet Union, they accept communist (soviet aligned) governments and they join Comintern, rather than being fully annexed in the future. All three become satellites too. Finally, seeing that Finland finds protection from the Reds under the Axis, Sweden becomes fascist and the AI follows the "Obedient Reichskommissariat" path.

Yeah, it makes no sense for the spanish AI to join allies. They should have joined Axis instead along with Portugal
