What If Jibanyan (Shadowside) Was In Smash? (Moveset Ideas: 100) 

What a way to celebrate the 100th Episode by going back to the character that started this series off! Can't wait for another 100 episodes of this series I look forward to every week! Also, if you were to binge-watch every single episode from Episode 1 to 100, then it would take nearly 39 hours to watch all of them (38 hours, 51 minutes and 57 seconds to be more exact).

Isn’t it poetic that when the final Ultimate fighter was announced, the 100th “what if” fighter comes out right around the corner? What a wild ride this has been. I doubt I’ll be able to make to the premiere but I’m excited either way! Congratulations BrawlFan!

Jibanyan just fits smash bros, he'd be worthy of being the last dlc character.

The fact that he made a Yo-kai Watch moveset as the big special episode because he loves it even though many people don't know or don't care about it means so much to me as a long time Yo-kai Watch fan. I've been watching the "What If" series for about 3 years now and the first video I saw was the Jibanyan episode, so this was a great special episode for me on a personal level. Good job, BJ!

I’d like to request Nate Adams (or Keita if you’re Japanese). Most think he would be a Pokémon trainer clone, but I don’t think that really captures the essence of Yokai Watch, maybe he’d summon Yokai, and support them from the background, or even join the fight himself like in Yokai Watch 4.

POP FIZZ!! Skylanders recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and yes, pop fizz didn't originate from the first game, but he is a popular skylander. But you creating these videos has definitely inspired me to come up with my own what if movesets. Tho I'll be focusing on skylanders. Happy 100 mate

Now that he has more moves in his arsenal from his recently released sequel,I request Raz from Psychonauts. Due to his obscurity,I don't see a lot of people talk about him as a Smash character which is a shame since I believe he can have insane moveset potential with all his psychic abilities and could be a cool as hell platformer rep

I know you probably hear this a lot, but this series has genuinely meant a lot to me and countless other people. Being able to see movesets for characters that likely won't ever be given a chance for a smash debut is always a highlight of my subscriptions page, and you can always tell how much effort goes into each and every one. I've been inspired to discover media I wouldn't have looked twice at otherwise, and seen things I loved for years be finally represented. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything Sappy stuff aside, though, I have a few movesets suggestions I've built up over the years that I think would be really cool to see: - Marisa or Sakuya from Touhou - The Dragonborn from Skyrim - Lunatic Cultist from Terraria - Hornet from Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong (preferably after Silksong releases, as to have more to draw from for movesets) - Kris from Deltarune - OMORI from OMORI - Aurora from Child of Light

Also, if I may make some requests, I only have a few: -Jevil and/or Spamton -Marisa Kirisame (Or any Touhou character, but she seems like she'd be the most likely, being the secondary protaganist) -Some kind of Gen 8 Pokemon -Hornet (because we all know Silksong's not coming) -The Fun Gang (kind of like a Pokemon Trainer sort of deal, where they each have their own movesets for different things, like Kris is the average one, Susie is the heavy, and Ralsei is the lightweight, and you can switch between them)

My list of requests: Ganon (Legend of Zelda. Referring specifically to his beast form and possibly elements of Calamity Ganon if you need to fill in gaps) Spy (TF2) A new Mii Fighter class. Jevil (Deltarune. I know Deltarune isn’t finished and you want to hold off on its characters until it is. But Jevil doesn’t show up at all in Chapter 2, and you literally just made a second moveset for Jibanyan, who I assume didn’t have Shadow-form the first time. So, at least for Jevil, I think we should make an exception.)

So. I'm gonna get sappy here. This series has brought so much joy to me. It's kept me entertained and looking forward to each week. I've made some amazing friends and have branched out creatively by making my own movesets. I've been introduced to some of my now favorite things like Yo Kai Watch and Terraria and I wouldn't trade this for anything. This series mean a a lot to me and here's hoping for another 100 and beyond!

Dude, congrats on a hundred episodes! I'd love to see an episode on Tentomon from Digimon. I've been playing through Spirits mode and all the bug spirits (Pinsir, Heracross, Bugzzy, Buzzbomb, Agitha...) made it abundantly apparent that none of the current fighters are bugs.

This series I always had to look forward to every week or so, has reached such a massive milestone and I couldn’t be more happy about it! The 100th character was more than fitting, and I Am glad this great series has gone on for so long and still going! Congrats DJ!

Throughout this series so far, I have mostly requested more outlandish characters, as I wanted to see movesets more for characters that had next to no shot of getting into the actual game, like a Sim from the Sims. On that note, now that Smash Ultimate has announced its final character, I want to request Kazuma Kiryu, as some personal wish fulfillment.

Please do What if moveset videos for these guys when they get more votes: Death's Gambit- Sorun Galbraith Unsighted- Iris Metroid Dread- E.M.M.I. Tales of Arise- Alphen and Shionne (either as 2-in-1 fighter or separate fighters)

Imma request Spamton now before everybody else does. I think Spamton NEO should be his final smash (like Wario-Man and Giga Mac in SSB4) though, not a normal fighter, because he's Spamton's ultimate form and that feeling would be lost then.

I have a fun idea: Six and Mono from the Little Nightmares series How this would work would be simpler than it sounds, Six (The Main fighter) would be a very lightweight and fragile fighter who prioritizes evasiveness over aggression (Like in Little Nightmares 1 where all you could really do is run away from monsters), while Mono (The Echo fighter) would be more aggressive (Like in Little Nightmares 2 where you could fight back against some of the monsters like the Bully's and those creepy hands), and if your wondering, the Run Away child from the DLC's would just be a costume for Six as the only difference between them was their source of light. Also, for Six and Mono's Final Smash, they would both have explosions!! Six would use the power of The Lady and use dark magic to suck the lifeforce out of opponents, giving her back some lost percentage and possibly even giving her an extra stock if she had enough percentage when activating it (This only happens from, like, %20 and under, and you have to get at least %50 from other players), however, this is like Monica's Final Smash, it just deals damage and stuns players for a few seconds, no launching what so ever. Mono's Final Smash on the other hand is the opposite, he uses his strange glitchy powers to deal major damage and send people flying, the upside to this is that it gives you a lot of breathing room as other players are sent pretty far, but the downsides are that it doesn't deal as much damage, it doesn't stun, and you don't gain any health either.

I was introduced to this series on your Papyrus and Sans moveset, and I have stuck with it since then. Even though I don't know anything about Yo-Kai Watch, I really enjoyed this episode and I am also kind of interested in getting into Yo-Kai Watch now. Here's to another 100 episodes! If I could choose a character that I would like to see a moveset for, I would choose Starkiller / The Apprentice from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game series.

Congratulations on 100 characters! And I love the way you've bookended the first hundred with two forms of the same character. On that note, and in the vein of characters with multiple forms, how about Trevor Belmont? We've had Simon and Richter, so Trev wouldn't be a stretch. Back in his heyday, he could be switched out for the vampire Alucard, the mage Sypha, and the pirate Grant--so this could be a fun Pokemon Trainer-type character, perhaps! What's more, interpretation of the characters' looks could be derived from the original game's art, from the Netflix show, and from the Wii game Castlevania Judgment. Sorry to infodump, I just get excited when I watch your videos. ;)

Hey BJ, I have one request for you this time the E.M.M.I (Metroid Dread), its final smash should be "Pursuit Mode", it would enter pursuit mode for a few seconds and within that time frame, you can freely control the EMMI. When you catch an opponent, a cutscene plays like in Metroid Dread of the EMMI preparing to strike down whoever it caught, and it can be an automatic KO at certain conditions.

I’m so glad that I stuck around your What if series for a multitude of reasons: Edit Requests: Sonic Werehog, E.M.M.I (Metroid Dread), Robonyan, Hovernyan, USApyon 1. It looked interesting. 2. You have the most creative ways to turn their abilities into smash move sets. 3. It also shows anyone who aren’t or weren’t familiar with any of theses characters a nice head start within research. And the fact that your first character you did was Jibanyan from Yo-kai watch (a series that I love, and sad that people either don’t know or would give a chance with); so to see you do the shadow-side version just warms my heart and gets me pure joy (and not going to lie, this did feel like a smash direct to me, because I both got excited when I saw Jibanyan again, but also I forgot about Shadow-side so that adds to my excitement). So, even though the real smash bros roster is finished (for now anyway, until a new one comes out), I still going to be looking forward on whatever is coming next; let’s get those requests coming and the number of fighters rising.

My first experience watching your movesets was with the first episode jibanyan because I remembered him from when I was super into yo-kai watch and watching that video got me back into yo-kai watch and now that we gone full circle I just wanna thank you for the movesets I love this series and I'm so glad it's not going away so once again thank you.

Not even done with the video yet, but already loving this! Absolutely wasn't expecting it, but as someone who was partially hooked into this series because of me discovering the Jibanyan video, since I've pretty much always wanted Yo Kai Watch in Smash Bros, this was a great choice! I would totally love a way for these forms to coexist as well, maybe with Shadowside as an alt for normal Jibanyan if we ever do get him in smash. Here's hoping for Jibanyan in Smash sooner or later! I hereby request the creation of a moveset of equal complexity, polish and beauty as the very essence of the genius, the bold, the _xXRealGamerXx_, Berdly! In other words, yeah, a Berdly moveset would be sick. Extra side stuff: -When he's at high damage, his idle animation would have him crushing his Smart Scouter™ out of frustration. He can only do this once per stock because it's already broken after he breaks it once. Obviously. Also, when he's at over 900 damage, he'd say: "My percentage...
