One possible thing I could imagine is that Katniss and Peeta probably would have become famous people in the history of panem because of hers( Katniss) two actions and his(Peeta) actions. Famous people who would most likely be talked about and remembered for Generations. Also….loved this video!

@@YarnsOfChaos Also do you think it would be possible? That Katniss and Peeta would become famous people? I Even commented my thoughts that Coin probably would use Rue’s Death against The Capital….do you think Coin would do that?

@@adammartinez8061 Yes to both. Commander Paylor would probably be a decent person, and she fought alongside Katniss when District 8's hospital was bombed (according to the books). She would probably want Katniss and Peeta to be remembered for their heroism. And Coin was a manipulative person, so yes, IMO, she would use Rue's death against the Capitol. She may have even been planning to use Rue's death at the intro of the symbolic Hunger Games that she wanted to do with the Capitol's children, if she'd gotten the chance.

@@adammartinez8061 Oh my gosh. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I made this video so long ago and I just finished rereading the HG books again, so I totally blanked that you probably were asking if they'd be famous if they'd eaten the berries (and died). In that case, it's hard to know for sure. It would depend on a lot of variables. We know the Capitol likes to bury their embarrassments, but it would be hard to bury that since the whole nation watched. But I still think Coin would've used Rue.

I think it it was necessary the government would include Capitol children in the games. Without the games as a form of oppression through comfort and entertainment the Capitol citizens could not be controlled. The Capitol would become a police state like the rest of Panem just one more District.

Tbh they should of not done anything If they weren’t bluffing and actually did eat the berry’s the capital would monitor both victors to see who lasts longer and then try to save them , fail to save them but overall show the public that there was 1 winner If they didn’t actually eat the berry’s , they would of just left them there to see who dies first

I believe that if they (meaning the Gamemaker Seneca) had a choice on which tribute to have spared, it would have been Katniss!!! She had the highest score during the training session and she knew had to survive a lot longer then Pita would have. Pita was gonna eat those berries anyways if Katniss hadn't stopped her. Katniss has been the star ever since the beginning when she volunteered and President Snow saw her more as a threat than anything, but he wasnt going to just kill her. He was going to torture her, torture her family and starve them out. Because in his sick mind, that's how he prey upon Katniss weakness the most. They would have easily killed off Pita because he was the weakest!!

I love this video but I don't really understand one of your points. The games aren't fair at all...and I think the capitol citizens know that since its obvious. There have been a lot of rigged actions which had a big influence on the outcome of games (floods, avalanches etc.) and no one complained about that. Sure, it's something different to rig one of the finalists out but I don't think it wouldve led to an uprising.

Hey, Anthony! No worries about criticism! I appreciate feedback. 😉 I'll expand my thoughts: There are two types of people who'd be upset with the Capitol for how they'd rigged this game. 1.) The Gamblers. People who are angry because *nobody* won the bet! Each person would've likely been refunded what they'd gambled, but nobody would've been made rich with a final victor standing. 2.) The Romanticists. People who feel sentimental, because when Katniss showed strong emotion at Rue's death, several people in the Capitol would've been awakened to the atrocities of the Hunger Games' murders and felt bad. They would've felt more sympathetic and protective of Katniss and Peeta. While rigging the games through "natural" disasters and mutts was normal and accepted, it still allowed for one victor with some semblance of chance, without the Capitol's involvement being too obvious. In this situation, the Capitol's involvement was much more obvious. And with a chance that no victor would make it, the Gamblers and the Romanticists would've been upset for the reasons listed. Anyway, though, we are still free to disagree! ✌️
