Nagato Uzumaki, better known as Pain, is one of the most compelling and tragic characters in the "Naruto" series. Created by Masashi Kishimoto, Pain serves as both a formidable antagonist and a complex, multi-layered individual whose life experiences shape his worldview and actions.
Pain's backstory is one of immense suffering and loss. Born in the war-torn village of Amegakure, Nagato was orphaned at a young age when his parents were killed by Konoha shinobi during a mission.
