If they make a Bowser-themed dlc pack, it would be really cool if they revived the Koopa Kid character. Now that Jr takes all the roles it used to have, we can have a Koopa Kid as a nostalgic playable character.

I can’t imagine Boo or Toad or Goomba or most of the other characters playable in SMP being playable as they already retain their original roles so it wouldn’t make any sense for them to also be playable. New boards and minigames would definitely make sense though!

I think boo isn’t a playable character because there are boo spaces on the board. Plus, it would be pretty odd to have boos steal coins or stars from another boo. Same goes for goomba. He takes coins from you in Peach’s Birthday Cake and is happy when you lose the flower lottery.

Good idea for the DLC. Nintendo will definitely do that for Mario Party Superstars, and all the fans will enjoy it so much. In fact, you deserve a thumbs up for that my man 👍

Two minigames from MP8 is very upsetting. There are some amazing ones in that one and MP8 in general deserves more love. Sick and Twisted, Picture Perfect, and Rotation Station in particular come to mind.

I really do agree with your DLC ideas in this video. If I have to share my own preferences, I believe that the number of boards needs to be increased to 9, consisting of three boards from each N64 Mario Party. On top of your picks, I would like to add Luigi’s Engine Room and Deep Bloober Sea to fill out the missing spots for Mario Party 1 and 3 respectively. As for new characters, I wouldn’t mind Diddy Kong and Pauline making appearances. They’d be much better choices than Pom Pom or Kamek.

If I were to ask for some DLC for mario Party superstars, I would honestly Ike to see something from mario party DS. Since that you're now in micro size (because that was one of the main factors of mario party DS) it gave the developers more ideas to work with when it came to boards and minigames. Maybe two boards could be toadette's music room and kamek's Library. Mario party DS was my first mario party game so I would honestly be surprised and excited to see something like that for DLC.

Sorry, Nico. But I don't believe Boo will be playable in the future. Boo already has a role as a stealer and so has King Boo in Horror Land. Maybe Dry Bones would be a better option.

For DLC, I think there should be 4 packs. 4 boards, 2 characters and 32 minigames. 1 board and 8 minigames per pack (I tried to do 20 but there are just too many good minigames that got left out). Characters: Dry Bones and Diddy Kong Dry Bones is the only likely enemy besides Spike. Boo and Shy Guy already play roles in the boards and minigames, and it would be weird to have Boo get a Star stolen from Boo (no, I doubt NDCube would replace the regular Boos with Pink Boos and Shy Guys with Tribal Shy Guys). Dry Bones doesn’t serve any purpose in any of the boards or minigames, and he’s practically the only likely enemy, so I’d say he is really likely for DLC. Diddy is a different story. I still think he’s likely, but there isn’t much to cover unlike Dry Bones. Boards: Mario’s Rainbow Castle, Bowser Land, Chilly Waters and Spiny Desert Mario’s Rainbow Castle is definitely one of the better designed Mario Party 1 boards, plus the amazing music and aesthetics. Bowser Land is easily the best N64 Bowser board and as you said, and has lots of things happening that I think would be translated well into Superstars. Chilly Waters would be cool to see in HD with the cracking ice and since we don’t have any snow or desert boards I think this one should be in along with the next, and since we need a more gimmicky board, I’d say Spiny Desert for the Mirage gimmick. Minigames: 32 Since N64 minigames take up over half of the selection I’ll focus more on the GCN and Wii minigames, particularly 7-9 since those were just robbed. Mario Party 4 1. Toad's Quick Draw 2. I think Chilly Waters would be a better pick than Waluigi's Island, since we already have an island themed board + winter is coming up. Also since Boo and Toad have roles on the board, I dont think they would fit in. I think Shy Guy and Diddy Kong should make a comeback!

Dry Bones and spike would make more sense. Boo and Toad are already NPCs so there's that. but Dry bones appeared in 7&8 and spike was in 10 so they were in the classics too. but here's the real proof: neither dry bones nor spike are in the game as of now. BOOM.

I think for Boo, they could retroactively make the NPC Boos pink if they make Boo playable again. Pink Boos were in Mario Party 6 in certain mini games and one of the boards, I think. Obviously I think King Boo would stay the same but he’d probably command Pink Boos instead. Also, one thing for mini games that I’m surprised wasn’t gone over was how I think they should have the option to have their original songs play, just like on the boards.

I’m really hoping they do DLC, and I’m also REALLY hoping it’s N64 focused, but I hope we get more than just two boards. I also feel like Waluigi’s Island AND Bowser Land were odd picks. One or the other totally makes sense, but you picked the two final and hardest boards from MP2 and MP3, and I can’t see NDCube picking both of those unless there’s a lot of other boards they do as well. Also, you said toad was busy doing other things, and I agree with that, but boo is on the board stealing stars and coins, and goomba is in several mini-games, so I feel like neither of those characters works either. Sure there’s several boos and goombas… but the same applies for toads. There’s tons of Toads. That’s why I think they should go with one of a kind characters like Diddy Kong, Pom Pom, Pauline, or someone of that nature.

Honestly i feel there should also be some gamecube boards, Faire Square from 6 could get pretty wild with nighttime: chance for lower star prices (lowest is 5 coins per star, and you can buy 5 at a time) and the plant event where everyone pays 1 star to have a 1/4 chance to get a profit of 3 if everyone has a star Also remember seeing a TAS of this board where someone got 100 stars with these, but you would need maximum luck on a real game to do that

I think that there will be a GameCube DLC pack. I found it weird to have minigames from all MP games but only boards from the first 5 and some of the GameCube boards are great. It just makes sense. You never know, it may even be free (doubt it though)

I agree with Waluigi's Island as an excellent addition for a new board, but I think Mario Rainbow cruise would be the perfect one to go with it. One difficult twisted board, and one easy, focused on a simple mechanic. Sure, a Bowser theme board would be cool, but for me and my pals, bowser boards were never the ones we played the most, it was always a bit too punishing and frustrating to be fun. In the end we almost never picked them. With Mario Rainbow Cruise on the other end, I think the items addition would make this board very very intense between a race to the star or a stalling contest to avoid bowser. And geez, the nostalgia, the music... it's the first Mario Party board ever !

I like the idea of 20 mini games for DLC but I'd say 3 boards instead of 2. And instead of DLC, why not just an update with 1 board and 5 mini games? Then DLC later.

To anyone who wants Chilly Waters: Space Land has pretty much the same mechanics, with things that chase you around the sides (the Shy Guy Patrol vs. snowballs) and a sprawling center with a big hazard (Bowser's Coin Laser vs. the breaking ice). For unique gameplay I'd rather get Spiny Desert (which might be too visually similar to Western Land, which I agree should get in) or Waluigi's Island. Deep Bloober Sea or Creepy Cavern could also work, though they're similar to Yoshi's Tropical Island in having two distinct halves.

Hey Nico, I recently saw your coinless Mario Odyssey video, and decided to do the moon cave coinless. Turns out it's impossible becuase when you get to the bullet bill part, they spawn infinitely and keep on destroying blocks with evil yellow yucky coins, so good on you by skipping it.
