Yo, you can shieldgate with ballistic battery when you're in her 4. But if you're using vazarin anyways, you don't even need to. The acolytes and demos don't get hit for damage cap, because they have damage attenuation. Calculations are on wiki under "damage reduction".
Pretty sure her 4 is damage cap viable too since they added green shards. Couldnt test it yet myself because im just not getting a tauforged yellow shard. Have 5 blue ones -.-
Also he got toxic tic and he didn't die i wonder how you can resist one tick of dmg in level cap because in my runs always got killed by 2 or 1 tic of toxin is he using an arcane?

i tried this build out and i found a problem: while the augment section of the ability works on the heavy attack,the actual ability where it grants bonus damage does not. so what you end up with is essentially…a worse kullervo?i dont understand this and i hope you elaborate more on it. nonetheless the edits are nice
The only thing that truly matters is critical chance; the damage bonus is too small to consider. As for not using Kullervo, the reason is simple: he lacks a shield. Without a shield, there's no invulnerability frame, which is crucial. Although Kullervo can overguardgate, it's not valuable enough to use.
@@vu.thang205 By this logic, Mesa is not needed, because it lacks a shield, which is why you use vazarin in your video. In the end, there is no reason for this, and the video was made to do something stupid and weird, but nothing more
@@Kenflesh24mesa doesn’t have a shield, no. But she has “shields” which are needed for shield gating. Kullervo has no shield or “shields” he’s full armor and health so he can’t shield gate. He has Overguardgate but that isn’t anywhere near as strong. The reason they use Mesa is because of her 3. It is a shield that reflects all projectiles back and gives you 95% damage reduction. People really sleep on mesa for her tanking capability.
@@Psion_Phoenix this is facts I just did a test run on conjunction survival didn’t get any of the nodes just went to see if I could last and honestly Mesa 3 w/ Varazin is not at all bad especially if you have magus lockdown creates a “hidden” DR because of the tethers void sling to tether cast Varazin first ability then the snare then make use of melee crescendo with the finishers because the snare opens them up to finishers turn 1 off WA (either heavy syam attack or full WA in an enemy face) That’s how I did it I also was spamming the Varazin 1 after using WA

The bottom line is that the build uses vazarin, which can give complete invulnerability, in this case the shieldgate will work as protection against one shot, and you won’t believe it, but overprotection will work on the cap the same way, in the end what misa does, with Kullervo can do the same build without any problems, so the whole build makes no sense and was made for fun. If we are not talking about high levels, kullervo survives no worse than misa, so misa is passed over again.
Ye no wonder, he didn’t show what the actual arcane did in the video lmao. so what it does is give you initial combo when you kill using the finisher attack (hence the focus school), and initial combo is permanent, but since this is from an arcane you’ll lose the perm combo if you die
@@vu.thang205 For the syam, since i already have riven for it, and i managed to roll "melee damage" and "elec", but my 3rd stats is "additional combo count chance" i wonder if its still a good substition instead of going "shocking touch"
Doing this build now any my clan mate thinks I shouldn’t do that because he don’t see the reason why Mesa for this, When there are other melee frames that benefit from WA I wanted to explain how but I didn’t know how basically I wanted to hear your reasoning
Ballistic Bullseyes functions similarly to Wrathful Advance. They provide a flat critical chance that scales with ability strength, rather than the weapon's percentage critical chance. Basically, the more critical chance you have, the more damage you deal
@@RDNS3TV Ballistic Bullseye is buffing crit chance, you saw the big damage number because Condition Overload is being calculated after the total damage (not the base damage such as Pressure Point). And then this damage is being multipled one more time by crit chance and crit damage. FYI final crit multiplier = crit level* x (crit multi -1) +1 *When crit happens: 1%(CC) - 100% is crit level 1, 101% - 200% is crit level 2, 201% - 300% is crit level 3 and so on For example: 201% red crit deal 3x(4.2-1) +1 = 10.6 which means your critical hit dealing 10.6 times of your total damage.
@vu.thang205 I'm not saying the build is bad in theory but the augment for the 1 is unnecessary. mele mesa while wild and kinda defeating the purpose of mesa has been a viable meme for a while it's just with mele mesa both her 1 and her 4 are dead space and her passive doesn't do anything for you. It just goes to show how useful a radial disarm and ranged dr are for a mele character.
