On mustafar when anakin said that he’ll bring peace and security to his new empire. Obi wan should have negotiated that they both go and kill palpatine together because that’s what anakin was planning on doing next
I’d love to see a what If the spirit voice of master Qui Gon Jinn appeared to talk with Anakin after Windu tells him to go wait in the counsel meeting room. Talking with him and telling him everything Anakin needed to hear in this moment before he goes and makes a mistake he did
Throughout this what if series I love the recurring theme of something needing to be sacrificed regardless of change and hindsight. It really proves just how many factors led to the downfall of the republic, and only a few can be chosen to avoid

What if.... Anakin did not kill Podma. Instead it was sidious.... I just started listening to this after my last video ended so this one automatically started and I didn't realize padme was going to get killed by palps most likely. I haven't got far yet
I didn’t know about the whole the senate wouldn’t believe the Jedi thing. Even if the galaxy as a whole didn’t like them. They did love Anakin and Obi-Wan. They were literally famous. Plus there are enough very prominent and very pro Jedi senators plus the petition of the 2000 lead by some of those members who could prove palpatine was bad news. Mace didn’t violate the Jedi code at all. Palpatine was still a viable threat. Mace just witnessed him kill three of the most powerful jedi masters with no trouble when they attempted to ARREST him. Not kill him at first but arrest him. We also know palpatine was not really at the end of his strength because of what happened when Anakin DID intervene. But You can’t shoot lighting control the senate and the court if you’re dead. The jedi supporters in the senate would then be free to organize a sufficient defense and justification of their actions. And then the Jedi and good senators could work together to get rid of the corruption.
Very interesting story! I am really loving these what-ifs, they're like a Starwars version of Masako X's Dragonball whatifs.. Here's an interesting potential story you might want to tackle: What if Obi-Wan was more receptive to Count Dooku on Geonosis? Obi-Wan would try to turn him back to the light, while Dooku would be conflicted now between protecting Qui-gon's apprentice and whether to create his own plan or follow Sidious. This could lead to a parallel Dooku plan to that of Sidious. Which would be even more interesting when Maul joins the game.
@@thestarwarsgalaxy Yeah... I couldn't help but think of it after watching Tales of the Jedi. It felt like Dooku reaching out to Obi-wan was his last attempt at an "out". After that moment, he became fully committed to the Sith plan when he saw that even Qui-gon's Padawan blatantly refused to see the corruption and even consider that a Sith might control the Republic.
Awesome video dude, one recommendation I have is maybe add some lightsaber sound effects quietly in the background for more immersion Might help with audience retention or just make the video even cooler idk lol just a thought Love the videos otherwise dude👍💪

I just don’t feel the need for a part 2 honestly. This was kinda a story about Anakin overcoming the darkness because of Obi-Wan and we saw that happen in this story. Thank you for watching !!
It's a very interesting approach considering he would be in the position to help anakin see differently I always wondered what would happen if obi wan came to confront him
The sith eternal, exogol, resurrection, palpatine reborn, abeloth, thrawn, the world between worlds, parallel universes, alternate realities, temporal anomalies. I happy ending. I've been watching these for a few months now, this one I like far more than most. However, a raged Anakin would probably take down the sith lord without getting clipped. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed watching this one. I could have seen SW3 written this way. Although than no Darth Vader and then we have some issues.
What if the mandalorians did conquer the old republic long before the sith empire returned, and before the jedi under Reven manage to join the war. What would happen to a jedi order that did not join the war under a mandalorian regime. Could the mandalorian empire beat back the sith empire with the combined population and resources of the old republic ans the mandalorians. as Mandalore the preserver claimed? Cause I definitely want to see what would happen to the jedi order if they never got a chance to fight to fight the mandalorians. Would they accept the mandalorians occupation of the republic or resist intill the sith empire returned?
See what annoys me on most fanfic for this scene is that Windu should had cut off Palpy's hands first to make sure that he can't use Force Lightning then his legs to make sure he can't move around. Regardless if he's going to be a prisoner or executed, with him having his legs and hands cut off. Just like the black knight from Monty Python, the best that Palpy can do is bite him to death.
What pissed me off the most is how they berate anakin when even obi wan didn’t agree they just ignore how obi wan blocked windu as well windu was falling to the dark side in this it was obvious if he killed palpatine it would have solidified his fall but no anakin is at fault for following their code and obi wan is just ignored for doing the same shit
Palpatine's cloning technology not being able to come to fruition in time for essence transfer to a force senstive clone of himself. Used instead a less advance form of essence transfer into a specially created holocron/AI supercomputer as he continues to perfect his cloning technology. He has many fanatics loyal to the death to work his will on the galaxy. Thus the sith lord sidious was like a catapiller waiting for a perfected clone of himself to be created. Time passes and partial success a perfect clone of himself but without any force sensitivity still hope remains for the sith lord. Still more time passes and the clone of sidious falls in love with a member of the extended family of Obi-wan kanobi they marry and rey palpatine is born even stronger in the force than her grandfather but not as strong as anakin skywalker. At last palpatine's time is near at hand find the parents and the girl then dispose of the excess baggage. Leaving the girl in the care of her grandfather. Until the time is right and then. Episode 7. The last sith. Episode 8. Sidious awakens. Episode 9. Return of the sith. Episode 10. Rise of the empire. Say what do you think. Spark any ideas. Enjoy life and live it to it's fullest. as mutch as i enjoy the theories you keep potraying kenoby as weack egainst sidious dont forget hese a the master of soresu and a great strategist he woud have held his own egainst sidious plus sidious never considerd kenoby a very pouwerful force user witch woud result in sidious underestimating kenoby so kenoby woud have an advatage. plus i believe that kenoby woud use the invirement to his advantage sintes he wouse more observent of his seroundings
Overall, done well. Just one issue. There is no world where Palpatine would have ever willingly fought Anakin. Anakin would have beaten Palpatine. Especially if he called on the darkside. He lost to obiwan vecause he knew he was stringer and he got arrogant. He didnt take it seriously. Palpatine was an unknown. He wouldnt underestimate him. Especially with everything he had done. And dont take it from me, thats canon. Even George said it. So im sorry, but the entire premise wouldnt work.
I mean yeah that all makes sense. But I do a lot of fan fictions, I try to make it fun, not always realistic and in line with canon for 100% of the time.
@@thestarwarsgalaxy Sure. There's two ways to do these. Either striving for accuracy, or just making a fun story. Of course if you're just trying to make a fun story, there's absolutely leeway. Here's my recommendation for a better way to do that. To be clear i have nothing against you, in did enjoy your story, im gonna listen to more. If you're going for a fun story, id recommend you follow 2 guideline. 1. Try and make it follow along, if even just vaguely, with established canon. 2. Whatever the scenario is, you can do anything you want with it. The topic here was if obi-wan helped anakin confront windu. I really would admonish you to keep that as the only major change. If you're going to include an element that differs significantly from establish canon, make it either the direct cause of the twist, or the twist itself. Ignoring canon to have this additional change is simply un-immersive. You want to keep people immersed. For a lot of your viewers its fine. They may not even notice. But for lifelong star wars fans like me, its doesn't work for me. One other thing you could do, lets say if you re did this story, take time to establish events that lead to this second difference. Even if it wouldn't normally make sense, if you lead up to it right, you can make it work. That way you can make whatever fun story you want, and its stays immersive. Those are my 2 cents, for lost its a negligible difference, but im confident it will make a huge difference, even if not many notice. Its rarely the big things that make or break things. Its pretty well always the little things like this.
I feel like there are just too many of these theory channels out there that seem to follow each other. One will do a video on "what if obi and ani farted" then within days like 9 other channels do the same. I will say at least this one doesn't use AI for the voices and stories, imo AI is pure laziness.
*Everyone* has Palpatine escape and execute Order 66 in What Ifs anymore. Seriously, search for anything to do with Anakin not turning, Anakin being trained by different Jedi Masters etc etc. Palpatine escaping his office to execute Order 66, and Palpatine escaping to execute Order 66 *and/or* go after Padmé has literally dozens, if not a hundred or more iterations now. I certainly don’t mean this criticism to be taken personally, but finding a new route for the story to take post-initial clash w/ Palpatine in his office would *really* reinvigorate the SW What If video scene. I liked the quality of the story’s performance well enough, but this on-life-support story crux is just so dead for me, I can’t enjoy the first third of a What If for knowing where things are going.
Great Content but it's not possible in canon since by the time Obi-Wan was to arrive on Corusant, Order 66 would have been in full effect, You need to take into account that travel time exists and the moment Obi-Wan went to Utapau, the Chancellor had won.
Nothing would change. It would just expedite the end of movie. Obiwans failure started long before the battle on mustafar. Nobody was equipped or willing to deal with anakins emotions. You could put any number of people in that room with anakin and he would still be convinced he had to destroy the Jedi to protect the ones he loves.
