They killed him in a lazy way to get Clem to be on her own. Christa is the same thing. If you go with Kenny, he dies in a car accident in the first scene. Go with Jane? Suicide in the first scene. Go to town without Kenny? Chick that let you in dies in the first scene. These games suck. Episode 1 and 2 were good, but then it all falls apart lol. Yes, the beginning of season 2 is pretty stupid.

Omid's death was entirely omid and christa's fault because they let clementine go in that bathroom by herself when she could've easily been overpowered by a walker or a bandit, besides clementine is a child she didn't know she had to have her gun with her all the time, she probably thought she was safe because omid and christa were in the other room, they could've easily avoided his death by letting Clem into the bathroom with them

I think the Kenny reveal in season 2 made up for the death of Omid. The Kenny reveal was probably the highest point in season 2. I was very hopeful that he survived in that building. And I sure it was a high point for all the Kenny lovers. can't wait for season 3 hope Clem and Kenny are safe in Wellington.

Me personally, I think it'd be sick if we got some sort of "Alternate Universe" versions of the Telltale Walking Dead games. Maybe after Season 3 is finished, they go back and do something similar to 400 days where they have stories about certain characters, but instead of stories covering the in between of seasons, they make it where if the story went a different way. For example: if Lee never did get bitten, maybe he would've lived past season 1, and could've talked to the girl robbing Clem out of doing anything and maybe it would've resulted in no one dying and instead that girl potentially joining Lee, Clem, Omid and Christa. Another example: If Ben (and no one else) fell when jumping to the roof near the end of Season 1, maybe Ben could've jumped down in Christa's place and since he was I believe a bit taller, might've managed to jump up to Lee & Omid and it could've in the end resulted in Kenny not dissapearing, Ben not dying, and again, maybe having a different start to Season 2.

I actually believe omid's death wasn't in vain for clementine learned to be stronger emotionally a little bit more which helped her with everything after she lost christa. Also I believe because of how sudden omid's death was, christa has being learning clem some survival skills just in case she can't take care of her anymore (genius christa!!) I recall christa talking something bout clem needing to learn how to make a fire or something at the start of the series? But yeah.... RIP Omid. As many other characters, your kindness and generosity was too big for the world to handle

I think it was so cheap that they killed Omede and had Christa go MIA. They could have easily replaced Rebecca and Alvin in that storyline and instead of the opening we got we could have seen the escape from carvers compound. Their reason for leaving is carver wanted little Omede.(Or all four characters could have existed and the four of them left because carver wanted their children for his own) That’s how I would have wrote it.

I honestly much prefer the idea of Christa dying in the bathroom instead of Omid. First of all, it would have been interesting to see how it changed Omid's character, and second, it would have removed all of the questions people have about what happened to Christa's baby. As it was mentioned in the video, Omid preferred to stay in groups, so maybe if he lived instead of Christa, he and Clementine could have ended up in Carver's camp with the group Clementine ends up with in Season 2. I think this would have made the two seasons feel more connected and less like Telltale was making all of the choices you made in Season 1 irrelevant.

Hey I have a suggestion: I've been replaying season 1, and I'm at episode two currently. I've always been confused as to why the brothers would turn the fence on when they knew Lee and Mark were out there. Were they working with the bandits? Cause the bandits gave them an excuse to eat Mark(even though he WOULD have been totally fine) when they shot him. I've just wondered that. I don't know if you already did an episode on this but if you haven't please do, this has confused me forever. Thanks! ^_^

Uncertain. He didn't get shot in the head by that kid, but, both Clementine and Crista knew that they had to in order for Omid not to turn, so there's 50/50 chance right there.

Yeah that would be a good theory to look into cause remember clem's new group's first interaction with Kenny's new group was hostile, and it was clem and Kenny's familiarity that calmed things If Kenny wasn't there it could've gone badly, there could've been a shoot out or they could've not allowed clem's group to enter the lodge

If Christa died in Omid's place, I think Omid would break. He'd cry over he body and when Clem tries to say something i'd think he'd get hostile. Remember when Kenny blamed Clem for Sarita's death? Yeah. Omid would do the same thing, and then tell Clem to go. To leave. Clem would then leave, crying and running into the woods. Then thats where Season 2 picks up, we get to see her on her own or find another group, alone. That would have been interesting as well. Or, instead of Omid becoming hostile, Maybe he would just blow his brains out then and there, leaving Clem alone, and then it shows her alone in the bathroom crying over there bodies and the time skip happens. What do you think?

Omid really took his time sneaking up on the girl, it should have been a 5 second reaction for him to disarm her but instead he just stands and stares XD and to top it off takes his eyes off her lol like whaaaat is he high or something? how could his reflexes be so poor after surviving for so long? He is in a tiny area with the advantage and somehow messes that up, idk whats worse his reactions or Clem losing her freaking gun! Assuming they found it - because Tavia in 400 Days implied Howe's wasn't in the vicinity of Gil's Pit Stop - joining Carver's community seems like a likelihood with Omid's philosophy, Christa's advanced pregnancy, and Clementine needing care. Even if they were disturbed by Carver, they would have adjusted for the sake of the children.

Here’s my take on it So as you know Clementine goes into the bathroom alone but this time when the girl is talking to Clementine Omid makes sure that she doesn’t hear the door and then he takes the gun out of her hand.Christa shows up maybe a couple seconds later and threatens the girl with the gun as she runs away yup that’s it then.

I agree with you, Omid's death is one of the most bullshit deaths I've seen so far from telltale (haven't played a new frontier yet). also, the WAY he died pissed me off maybe even more than his actual death. Everything about it just felt so unnecessary and stupid. I feel like season 2 had a lot of deaths that only happened to create an emotional scene, but it only ended up pissing me off. it was like they thought they had to kill off as many characters as possible (especially the best ones) 'cause they couldn't find any other way to create tension and generally emotional shit like in season 1 (a lot of people died in s1 too, but most of them didn't feel too forced or unnecessary imo). idk. i'm just really bad cause my favourite people died lol

Lee would’ve been a broken man depending on how you were with Kenny him and his family would’ve looked out for him chuck would’ve telling duck he’s gonna die making Kenny pissed off at Chuck and Kenny was more of a hothead than Lee so he definitely would’ve fighting Chuck then reloading he has to teach duck to shoot and protect himself but duck was a fucking retard so that would’ve taking time and Clem found the both in Savannah with Clem being dead who knows if the rest would’ve finding it they might’ve eventually and the boat only had a 5 person capacity so Lee Kenny Duck Katjaa and maybe Ben would’ve leaving unless Ben told Kenny it was his fault the bandits broke in and Clem got bit and Kenny would’ve immediately telling Lee , Lee would’ve killing him with no mercy Lee was way more powerful than anyone else and we’re gonna presume that Katjaa and Chuck die when they reach Savannah like Chuck originally did but I’d Duck lived I say Katjaa would’ve died which would brake Kenny and Duck but in the end Lee Kenny Duck Christa and Omid would’ve set sail Vernon and his crew would not have taken on Lee and Kenny so that’s that Lee and Omid would’ve definitely living a lot longer

I think christas baby was born ok and fine but without omids help something bad happened and her baby died because at the end of season 2 when Jane says Aj is dead Clem says “no...not again..... not again” says that shes seen this before to christas baby

I remember when I saw Omid get killed off because my Spanish class finished our finals and she, my teacher, let us be on our phones and the class was watching ATL on the projector screen in the room. I on the other hand was sitting in a bean bag chair in the corner of the room charging my phone and watching pewdiepie play season 2, cuz it came out like the night before, and when he died I gasped. Not kidding. And the rest of the class laughed at a joke from the movie. And this one girl turned and look at me like wtf is wrong with you? I felt so sad amd so embarrassed and so self conscious at the same time.
