if pablo escobar would became president of colombia ,colombia had been more progressive country but the thing is u.s.a. does not like presidents who dont follow their orders and i think pablo would toppled or killed him for doing good things for his country.
He might was a druglord, that doesn’t change the fact he had a good heart for the poor in Colombia, rest in peace those who died during his evil moments and let us pray for the good he had done for the struggling poor people in that time.
those "good heart for the poor" activities served simply for his own sake, not because he loved poor people so much.. his army of paid killers (sicarios) came mostly from such poor neighbourhoods. Those "good deeds" were simply his investments.

That would be a very hard war for the USA! With Pablo as President with a monopoly on cocaine, Colombia would be VERY rich. So I think it would be harder than the Vietnam War! We have ALOT of mountains and jungles. Russians and Chinese would sell weapons to the Colombians for sure.
@@mushroom11g55 I doubt that the Vietcong were fighting for ideology while any army Pablo could muster would only be fighting for money, back then China and the ussr wouldn’t do shit since it was a communist country Pablo would but weapons from Israeli smugglers and Spanish rebels like he always did and most of his armies would consist of mercenaries, with a us invasion the cocaine business would be nearly impossible so Pablo’s rival cartels would move to kill him so it could be business as usual, maybe is Pablo doesn’t get assassinated he flees into the jungle and then a real manhunt would happen not some cheap Columbian hunt a US military man hunt Pablo’s mercenaries wouldn’t stand a chance
@@George-real the Colombians are some of the toughest fighters in South America, we have alot of combat experience, alot of global mercenaries, we would also fight for ideology. The ideology that the US can't try to stop the country when we are starting to get rich with cocaine money. You don't take into account that with presidency, Pablo would be MUCH stronger defensively. It wouldn't be easy, USA couldn't even invade Cuba when the threat we're talking about is nuclear missiles, not Cocaine. They can't go in killing America's neighbors either, the public would hate that. It's not as easy as you think it is, it was already tough to find Pablo, as president he has a whole upgraded military behind him. I guarantee Pablo would hide in bunkers DEEP underground in the jungle mountains. Russia and China WOULD help Colombia. They help ANYONE who fights the US and Allies! What a coincidence, everyone America fights has AK-47s!
