OK what if, and bear with me here. What if Raditz and Gohan go in while Goku waits outside. This could open a lot of interesting possibilities. - Character Development between Raditz and Gohan - Goku trying to stop/letting Vegeta let Cell go Perfect - Goku going in later with Gohan to achieve Gohans Maximum Potential. I just think that would be a pretty interesting twist to it and something Goku might do.

I say we vote for Gohan to go with Goku to into the Room because after them we know Piccolo goes in by himself which he doesn't have to now that Raditz is around and can train alongside Raditz. this should prove to be fruitful once the Cell JRs arrive and make it more of even match rather than a complete beatdown of the Z-Fighters, but still just enough of a beating so when 16 gives his speech to Gohan, Gohan still goes into SSJ2

Definitely Raditz and piccolo in the chamber. Raditz gets close to ss2 and focuses his techniques and strategy with piccolo. piccolo gets a large power boost since he's not training alone. This would put him close to top tier z fighter status I would place him below cell fight Gohan and goku and above or tied with Cell fight SS bulk vegeta.

With the way it's set up, Raditz and Piccolo would train together and both end up stronger the Vegeets

I'm very much in favor of Raditz training with Piccolo after Goku and Gohan exit the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. That way, Gohan remains entirely relevant for the remainder of the arc (as well as future arcs), and we can see some more development in Piccolo and Raditz's friendship during their HTC training.

I think Raditz should go in with Piccolo. Gohan still should have his time to shine, while Raditz "helps" Vegeta fight Cell. Or better yet, have Raditz help Trunks during his battle.

What if instead Gohan and Raditz go in together. While in there we find out even though most of the Z fighters have come to accept Raditz Gohan still bares some malice for what Raditz did when he first came and that pushes him to super saiyan along with the original push as well. This can be used for some uncle nephew time and Goku can go with Piccolo to have a bit more bonding time. Please like so Masako sees this.

I can imagine each saiyan having an understandably different reason to striving to be the strongest. Goku loves the challenge, Vegeta wants to prove that as the elite he should be able to remain the strongest, Raditz turns his cowardly nature into a strength by never wanting to find himself in a situation again where he's not strong enough.

I'm of the mind that It's important for the Father son Connection to come about between Goku and Gohan. In this What if he's had a lot of time to learn about Sayain Pride and train with Piccolo and Raditz, now he needs to learn respect for Martial arts and the pure connection to get to Super Sayain. Now its time for Dad to make up some lost time and see through the potential that he knows is hidden deep within his son. It's this year of training that gives Gohan the admiration and understanding for Goku we see him display later as an Adult when he asks Kibito for his fathers Gi. Then Piccolo and Raditz can go in the Chamber after, to get Raditz maybe close to Super Sayain 2, like Goku is, and Piccolo somewhere near that in strength as well if not possibly past them, since he was already stronger from Nail and Kami's' fusions than in the original timeline. This would continue to widen Piccolo's respect for the Sayains and increase his friend circle. As well as round out or Z fighters in terms of top tier protectors. When you list them Goku, Piccolo, Raditz, Vegeta, Trunks and Gohan, plus Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha (Though he may give up earlier than before for seeing no reason in the groups so big.) inspired by the strength boosts the whole team is a huge powerhouse. Then by the time Goku comes back in the Buu arc everyone will be SSJ2-ish and in amazing fighting shape. Esspecially Gohan since Uncle Raditz wouldn't let pathetic school get in the way of his amazingly powerful nephew's training. I even think Krillin would keep up his training a little more this time around since 18 would still be interested in how strong everyone is getting. Though he'd take time off for baby Marron I'm sure, and we'd still get his full hair grown out.

Oh, okay, Ranch is a really good one, a combination of the two names AND it still fits the food theme. Puts my suggestion Kafteria to shame.

Though I would think that Raditz would want to catch up and surpass Vegeta, I'd think that Goku would still want to take Gohan in as he sees the potential in his son's rage. If Raditz would catch on to this, he would more than likely agree. Though I am not sure Raditz would go after Vegeta to watch the fight with Semi-Perfect Cell, but this is your What-If, Masako. Either way, I would see that, after Cell obtains Perfection (if the route still goes that way), Raditz would take some time in the Room of Spirit and Time before the Cell Games and at least catch up to Vegeta or quite close to it.

Goku and Gohan will go into the hypertonic lion tamer while raditz fights cell. I think raditz will not risk cell transforming, but it eventually happens cause plot progression.

the best scenario would be raditz and gohan going in first, goku talks to raditz telling him that gohan needs to go super saiyan and reminds him of his "anger" potential, then later goku and piccolo goes together, in this case gohan will go super saiyan, raditz will get to super saiyan mark 2 and goku will be waaaaaaaaaaay stronger since he trained with piccolo as a partner rather than focusing on gohan

Raditz's role seems like a secondary Krillin or Piccolo of sorts. He's cautious, but strong and proud. I get the feeling his fighting style would mirror Krillin's in that he uses more trickery and diversionary compared to Piccolo who just outsmarts his opponents with a combination of strategy and skill.

I Agree with you Overstain. piccolo, and Raditz will get stronger together, and Raditz will learn SS2. Why it's because goku was to busy teaching gohan about transforming. If Radtiz trained with goku, then Radtiz would learn ss2, then piccolo and Gohan can train teaching gohan on how to become SS. But I think if gohan trained with piccolo, gohan would not be as strong, and it's possible he might not get mad enough when goku dies, because they didn't spend time together. Also if raditz went with goku, and gohan with piccolo that would change the outcome with the battle against cell. Why it's because goku and gohan both learned how to last longer in their SS form without getting tired. Then everything would play of how they should, when goku dies, in the mean time gohan can learn at school and bond and train with his uncle Raditz. Then Goten is born and Gohan, Goten, Radtiz, and Ranch can train together. Everyone learns of the martial Arts tournament so they train, Gohan trains videl, while raditz, trains ranch and Goten. Goku comes back... they meet supreme Kai, and piccolo fights supreme but quits, Radtiz and vegeta are paired, and vegeta getting angry that it's not goku and just deals with it. Goten looses to trunks, and trunks beats ranch. Radtiz gets angry getting, then excited for the fight. But they don't fight having to deal with babidi and dabura. Everything continues as planned, with Radtiz just fighting some random guy. Then when babidi controls vegeta, Radtiz and goku fight vegeta, with goku getting knocked out and Radtiz knocking out vegeta. Majin buu is hatched. Radtiz helps gohan and supreme kai or Radtiz stays with goku and vegeta. Most likely that Radtiz helped gohan. Everything continues as plan with dabura dieing. Vegeta has to be watched till babidi is dead. Gohan trains with elder kai and gohan' s power is unlocked. Gohan and Radtiz battles buutenks while piccolo, ranch, Mr Satan, and dende watching. Krillin is still alive he is staying with bulma and they are watching the resting vegeta at capsule corporation. Gohan is almost absorbed but piccolo saves gohan getting absorbed instead of gohan, Radtiz and goku fuse creating rackarot. (The fusion dance would have been radu). Rakarot and gohan kills buu and saves piccolo, trunks, and Goten. Then years later beerus shows up. Goku looses on king Kai's world, and beerus arrives on earth. Vegeta and Radtiz tries to keep beerus calm, and buu isn't around to screw up things. Goku arrives since ss2 vegeta and ss3 Radtiz failed to fight beerus. Goku learns about the ssg and becomes one. Everything goes as planned. Vegeta is training with whis and Radtiz and goku find out and train as well. Back on earth frieza, and ginyu is causing trouble. Everything goes as planned. With goku getting shot, Radtiz tries to attack frieza and gets shot as well, vegeta fights frieza and the planet blows up. Whis goes back in time and everything goes as planned. Then future trunks shows up and talks about goku black and everything goes as plan with only Radtiz being with future trunks, goku, and vegeta. They all still fail, until future trunks finishes the job. The tournament of power comes and everything goes as planned but Radtiz replaces buu. During the tournament of power Radtiz, vegeta and goku, and gohan are eventually the last four remaining. Then Radtiz and vegeta lose. Then there's Jiren and goku, and toppo and gohan. Jiren and goku both get knocked out for being to strong. Then gohan the leader being more smart than toppo wins the tournament of power for u7. Goku then wishes for the erased universes to be brought back using the super dragon balls. Once in a while u6 and u7 saiyans train with each other.... then gt or a different series starts. I feel that it should be Goku and Raditz that go into the time chamber together followed by Gohan and Piccolo. Reason 1: with Goku reaching SSJ Grade 2 if Mr. Perfect Cell is the same as he is in the anime then Gohan's transformation into SSJ2 during the fight will not be needed as Goku is close to or at Gohan's power at SSJ2 before even going into the chamber. Reason 2: with Raditz already at SSJ1 Goku will benefit from the training a lot more than what he would with Gohan and this would also give Raditz the time and the Perfect training partner to reach SSJ2 also, boosting both Raditz and Goku to new levels of power. Reason 3: Gohan training with Piccolo (if Goku tells Piccolo to get Gohan angry to gain SSJ1) I believe would be much more fruitful than Goku training Gohan as I still believe (Contrary to what they said in the anime) that piccolo's training is much harsher than Goku's. Reason 4: if Raditz goes to interfere with Cell becoming perfect Vegeta will kill Raditz without any hesitation and with ease due to the new power balance, and without the dragon balls Raditz is not coming back which would lead to many and I mean many complications down the road when Goku finds out Vegeta killed his brother.

The story arc is outstanding and to see Raditz in this light, i can picture everything happening as you tell the story. Raditz has always been a personal favored character. What If King Kai taught Yamcha the spirt bomb and Tien the kaioken? I would love see a spirit bomb flung around like the spirit ball. A kaioken powered tri beam with the multiform technique and four arms each.

i would love to see raditz vs majin vegeta

I think that Raditz would go in with Goku. It would just make more sense at the time since Raditz is stronger than Gohan at this point. Gohan would then go in with piccolo. Besides, it's more interesting that way.

Got to say I love this series so much. Raditz being the weaker older brother is someone I can relate to as I am a older brother but I am in some cases weaker than my younger sibling. Also he's best dad and loving the custom art!

So if Gohan goes into the chamber, he gets strong with his father, while Radittz goes with Vegeta to fight semi-perfect cell. The problem here is theres a really high chance that Vegeta will just fight Raditz, and cell will take advantage and kill at least one of them, and then the story would continue like in the anime. Trunks cant take on Vegeta or Cell at this point so he doesn't even factor into the fights. So if Radditz joins Goku in the chamber, he and Goku will most likely achieve SSJ lvl 2 for Radditz and possibly a low lvl 3 for Goku, as Radditz would present a far better sparring partner than Gohan. And outside the chamber, events would progress almost the same, except maybe Gohan plays a part in Trunks-Vegeta-Cell Fights, as well as possibly interferring in the 18-Krillin Story line. I would vote for Radditz to join Goku as I don't want to see Radditz die at the hands of Vegeta/Cell.

How about a 3rd scenario? Goku has already realized before going into the time chamber that Raditz and Gohan have been increasing their power levels at a faster rate than himself. He deems that it would be for the greater good if Raditz and Gohan go into the time chamber together. Goku tells Gohan that he should get to know his uncle better because their first encounter got them off on the wrong foot and Gohan has been holding a small grudge ever since, not fully able to forgive Raditz for his kidnapping and the death of his father. Bulma realizes there is 1 more hyperbolic time chamber, and tells Goku. He can go to Trunk's timeline, and take the other fighters there to train. He realizes this the day Vegeta and Trunks are in the chamber, so that means Goku and 3 other fighters are able to train in the time chamber in Trunk's timeline. I believe Tien was holding off cell, so Goku opts to take Yamcha, Krillin and Piccolo with him. Goku and Krillin get nostalgic of their old training days and go in together, leaving Yamcha to spar with Piccolo the next day. Trunk's time machine was built to only fit 1 person, but perhaps they could cram to fit 2 people for 1 day, come back, and then cram 2 people the next day. This is, after all, an invaluable amount of training.

i feel like radditz would choose to go with goku, but piccolo would intervene, after his interaction with radditz after him and vegeta fought, piccolo would choose radditz to come with him, so everything would be the same, but radditz and piccolo will be much stronger.

you know, even though i am completely understanding of the way Masakox talks about how the series would go with Raditz in it, as well as watching Dragon Ball R&R, i am still blown away and also confused about a few things XD but i love this and the fan made show so much!

Hm. For some reason I see Raditz standing there, the car exploded, completely cool and he does not seem to care and just says: "Hm. I miss my daughter already!" Sort of defeats the mood of the situation, but I like it
