How tho? It wouldn’t be possible due to Ash being one of the MANY counterparts of Red. So if the anime team were to bring Red to Ash’s universe, it’ll be like ‘Ash vs Cynthia’ while Ash is watching etc. So, I’m sorry to say it but, it wouldn’t make any sense to have Cynthia fighting Red.
But still, in an alternate universe, where red is also the mc of the anime, it could happen Sounds a little far-fetch'd (pun intended), but pokemon master journeys made an episode about alternate timelines and whatnot So not really that far off I guess..... Idk
@@Attemptingto345 to be fair, ash seems that will fight cynthia eventually, things have been hinting at him fighting her and lance in the future on the road to beat Leon, and given how the anime has been lately, its quite hype because they've been giving ash lots of good characterization as a trainer and such, as well as things like mega lucario
Red & Cynthia are on a whole other league compared to other champions. gotta give Red credit not only because his team isnt as perfectly built as Cynthia's but also bc he has that fkn useless Pikachu. if he had Espeon instead he'd be way more threatening
i feel like it'd be interesting if red changed out some of his pokemon sometimes, like he'd use his old espeon or maybe one of the other gift pokemon like one of the hitmons, he could even use a super fast raichu in place of pikachu once or twice maybe his team would have cycles depending on what number of times you've rematched him
Yeah Pikachu is the Pokémon who kepts Red away from being the best trainer of all time (and even then, Cynthia has great Pokémon, Steven has a very solid team (no pun intended))since if you outspeed Pikachu (not hard with its 90 base Speed but not blazingly easy either), Red basically plays a team of 5 Pokémon. But those 5 Pokémon are very strong on their own.
Red's team is actually pretty weak if you think about it, they are just overleveled lol. Most if not all other champs have much stronger pokemon than Red but his pokes are simply higher leveled compared to the other champs. But Cynthia on the other hand has BOTH strong pokemon AND overleveled pokemon. This makes her by far the strongest champ and generally speaking the strongest opponent in the game.
@@Gurkan790 I like to think of Red as a "Against the Odds" kind of Trainer. While his team isn't strong from a competitive standpoint I think he manages to pull it off because he trusts in his pokemon and believes in their capabilities. Which is why he could beat his rival, Blue/Green, who was a bit more skilled and a better team than he did.
My main takeaway from this is that Red’s espeon will never be brought up again because apparently Game Freak doesn’t want him to have it for some reason.
It’s a Gen 2 Pokémon on a Gen one team. Frankly, I don’t care, which is why I’m still gonna advocate for evolving Scyther to Scizor if we ever see his Origins team again.
Now I wanna see Max level Barry (Platinum team) against Cynthia. Ideally Infernape as the starter, but you can choose whichever you want him to have. Since before HGSS Red and BDSP Cynthia, he had the highest level team.
@@siaguamiel1787 His manga counterpart is called Pearl. Lucas is Diamond and Dawn is Platinum Berlitz who goes by codename Lady. So Manga is Pearl And Pearls starter is Infernape but in game and Anime is Barry and his starter is Empoleon.

@@jointser1008 Sometimes AI have more advantages in games. Red's pokemons seem weaker than other champions pokemons, but their moves have more changeable and flexible than others.
@@John831001 Mixeli is actually a good player in this case the AI is clearly in disadvantage Garchomp,Togekiss,Porygon-Z and Lucario Have also a good movepool which means they are "very changeable"
@@viviul2003 Unfortunately his team has bad Natures, bad moves, and no EVs. Not to mention that his team is poorly built, there are other better Pokemon that could be used.
Most champions don’t have access to mega evolution or Z moves, 🧐 beats me, so I guess Red’s team might not be as good if you set them all at let’s say lvl. 50, but his PKMN levels are one of the higher ones without such restrictions like PWT, out of the whole game.
Speculation, considering how it takes Cynthia 3 rematches just to get on equal grounds based on level, wouldn't Red, being given 2 more rematches far surpass Cynthia? From giving the same circumstances of rematches, Red would have increased in levels significantly if such a remake were to happen, yes? So sure Cynthia is the new strongest, but only due to being given *2 rematches with increased levels,* while red has his outstanding levels on STATIC every rematch, so hypothetically, Red would still be the strongest as a static base, only to be EVEN STRONGER once given the same rematch mechanics as BDSP Cynthia. *However, this is still speculation, don't go gaslighting who is stronger with passionate opinions, it would just make sense being given fair treatment.*

What a brilliant idea! I didn't know it was possible. You did a great job bypassing pokemon house's rules and bringing red's team into bd/sp. Also,you're pretty skilled at battling! This is truly what red would've done
I wouldn't say he's pretty skilled at battling, at 19:16 the pretty poor decision to use blizzard and end up missing when he could have just used Brine with 100% accuracy and a guaranteed kill against Spiritomb. His lapras lost hp unnecessarily because of that decision.
When Venusaur is almost fainted, you should not use that full restore on him. Instead let him fainted and switch to Snorlax, use that full restore on the Snorlax then spam curse. With the leech seed, it should be safe to set up on Milotic, then Snorlax should be able to tank the remaining two.
He doesn't have curse in HGSS. I tried many and possibly even the one you're mentionning me. (Without counting curse of course) but didn't worked at the end.
I kinda feel like there's way too much "So that's that. Cynthia is stronger, which means Red isn't really a good trainer, he just has a lot of levels," and not nearly enough "Holy crap, full power Red is basically on par with full power BDSP Cynthia, it's only a 6% difference in her favour," going on in this comment section. If anything, this video should be proof that Red's team isn't only good because it's high-levelled, it's just plain good.
How is this proof? Red clearly just played better here, it doesn't proof how good his team actually is. If Cynthia actually played well, there's no way Red could've won.

@Bilal Salman Red need to change his entire Team to be a good challenging enemy like Cynthia i mean 3times Electric weakness and a Pikachu i recommend to replace Charizard Lapras Pikachu and probably Blastoise wiith any good pokemons from Kanto/Johto Tyranitar or Dragonite for a example
wow, i'm glad red's chances of winning the first two battles are so good, i'm kind of sad that it's impossible for him to win the third and final with the normal team but i understand why, despite i admire him a lot, i always knew that he's a long way from actually being the strongest trainer

@@Red-oy1ld Well, I can't opine about the Pokémon masters red because until now I haven't been able to play it because I don't have a cell phone that can run the game and I rarely see videos of it either, but the main game red is certainly far from being the strongest, and please don't get me wrong, as a fan of his i would love if he really were the strongest but i know that's not the case, at least for now, and if in the future he appears again with a better team to the strategic side and change that, you never know
I think Cynthia is a stronger than red. Tbh I think I'd actually move on from red being the strongest trainer. And what no other trainer than Cynthia herself.

@Thookah Villegas in order for this to be fair, you need to give both teams to a player. Cynthia’s team is just much more competitively viable unfortunately.

One hit of Blastoise's Hydro Cannon to Cynthia's Lucario? wow.. Red has one pretty powerful Blastoise there.. i don't know, maybe the level itself is high but still..
Big take away from this is rather not if Red can beat Cynthia, it's how difficult is it to actually pulling it off. Goes to show that even at high level, Red isn't really a skilled trainer as many would like to think he is. If this battle was a once a lifetime opportunity, Red needs to be VERY lucky to beat Cynthia. Great vid!
Because of focus sash. His other effective move either hurt or Miss and even if it hit, Lucario will resist because of focus sash. Since he use Close combat which reduce his defense and defense special, it's better using a move that have more chance to hit and not hurt instead. I've tried many time and the best solution is using Air slash.
This is a very interesting experiment, though with a couple flaws in the procedure. It all boils down to this still feeling like a fight between Cynthia and a player using Red's Pokemon, not Red himself. Things like, healing in yellow HP, healing because of a status condition, using more than two/three Full Restores, and switching for the type advantage are all very much moves that only a player would realistically use; the AI just isn't programmed that way. That being said, it's still extremely interesting to watch this video and see how the experiment STILL played out in Cynthia's favor. It really speaks to Cynthia's strength that Red needed to think like a player to even stand a chance!
Honestly, @Mixeli I just realized, he must have love his pokemons a lot, because the only way you get Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon and Frenzy Plant is by getting max friendship on starter mons.
I ran this same experiment but instead I took Cynthia's pokemon from platinum (Her Rematch version ) and played her exactly like the AI if not better, she couldn't possibly win, especially with the 100% accurate blizzards on her mons. Which would be the most accurate fight considering everything really.
This battle is taken as an anime type of battle a serious one where no bot is in and bots are dumb they dont know any of the typing's interaction with eachother I think that might be the reason for that.
Fun Fact: Ignoring battle facilities, Red's Pikachu is tied with the 2nd rematch version of Cynthia's BDSP Garchomp for highest level non player character owned Pokémon

It's an impressive comp almost every time we face Red (except in Black and White 2) his team always has a disadvantage his team in GSC is good but the moveset is horrible in my opinion in HeartGold it's much better however, it has some attacks on some pokemon that are strong, but it can hinder the pokemon, for example, blastoise with hydro canon, the damage is destroyed, but one less turn for it, in pokemon sun and moon, it's pretty cool, but the disadvantage is that the levels are 70 and also almost all pokemon except pikachu don't have an item
i feel this is slightly innaccurate, as cyn is an ai...and shes definately not trying to make many counter moves against red(your) mons in the fight, otherwise, thats still a mad close fight
