@@KingLaZrButBad on the 5kids (i think it's called?) channel, they had to heavily censor some of their stuff, such as death being known as "being sent to the dark realm". one of these is calling rice balls jelly filled donuts. problem is, they didnt change the actual scene to have donuts instead, so now we have brock talking about jelly filled donuts whilst eating rice balls. dammit brock, take your alzheimers medication

peepoTM Creativity is NOT the core of art. If the execution of said creativity is bad, it won't do that creativity justice.This animation is fine...for early newgrounds animation. Enough people using creativity as an excuse for lacking in other qualities.
I really don't give a flying f*** about the animation. I only care about the creativity. And this was as creative as it gets. I do agree that it could have an improvement in animation, but this was his first animation. And it was fun. So grow up.

This was his first animation, so its reasonable that its choppy. In the future when you get better at animating I highly suggest remaking it. I still think it was pretty good and a wonderful idea! 6.9/10
Thanks for all the comments. I really went all out for my first flash animation. I know the animation needs work, but we all gotta start somewhere right? I really wish I had finished the second one on time but it didnt happen and now its in limbo. Maybe I will revisit the idea with X/Y and Black/White pokemon. Glad that people are still enjoying this video after 3 years :)
Love this. Screw those who are complaining about the animation, it's at least watchable and not god awful. Appreciate the effort that at least went into it.

@@antoniobluregard3089 True, but in response, there's this thing called "common sense" and "empathy" that we humans have that allow us to take a hint. This isn't GOOD, but I respect the creativity. Saying it sucks isn't constructive criticism and is a harsh way to put it, simply just say WHAT he could improve...or just don't say anything at all...that works better than saying it sucks.
I want a remaster of this. Not because it's bad, but because it's antiquated and has so much potential to be amazing if it gets some nice touch-up treatment.
No matter what year it is, it will be someones first time doing something. Looking back, and even then I knew it needed a lot of work. But this was just a fun project I used to learn the software. Im proud of it for what it is :)

The animation isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either. The creativity and work put into this really shows. If this was remade with better animation, it would be perfect.
It's funny see all the Justice Warriors saying "Could you do any better?" "It was him 1st animation" and other things for the people saying about the drawings and movement animation. The animation is bad, no matter if it was he´s 1st animation or not, nothing can change the true (except politics). But saying that the animation is bad is not the same as saying that the hole video is bad. The idea is fantastic, but the poor knolededge of the creator to produce animation makes it a little hard to watch. Make a animation "simple" like the game does not make it good. The simplicity not makes all the things good. So please, stop beeing fanboys and be more critics with the video, and in my opinion, if this had a remix, it would be a spectacular video.
Really late but, most people who critic the Animation are saying "this animation suck" without reason. So Its reasonable why people said "it was his 1st animation" if the critics are more nice like "the animation are not the best and have some room for improvement" maybe people Will not say that....
The idea of mix pokemon and rhythm heaven is great, but the animation is poor, try doing this with other remix more simple, and put more shadows and less black lines in the background and pokemons
