I recall seeing a QA by the author (likely in the web novel) asking if the Man God was being honest about the outcome of TP3 if Rudy listened to him. (Lets be real, do we really believe his shitty explanation on that? That just sounds like a bad coincidence just to fill in Rudy's mouth so he can release that rat for him.) The author actually suggested that the Man God was very possibly lying on that. He explained that in reality, it's very possible that Roxy will just die because Rudy didn't save her (which is exactly what the Man God wants). Further on that, Paul's team will keep on challenging the labyrinth until his whole team wipes, and Zenith will only be rescued by adventurers after another century or two. If any this suggest a very bad ending to them. By the logic of the story, Rudy is fated to be with Roxy so in reality he will always head there and be in time to save her, no matter how much the Man God wants to avoid them reuniting, so it's very possible that even Man God doesn't know what will happen if Rudy doesn't go (because that future doesn't even exist, he can't see it).

Oh yeah for sure, chances are he is lying, but he has been shown to know the future in some situations so who knows. As I go through his Q&As I'll eventually find what you're referencing, but I thought that the presented scenario was fun to run with!

yea it was clear that rudy was never gonna listen to hitogami at turning point 3. his whole family could see how much he wanted to go, and was supporting him to do it. plus he doesnt have that kind of relationship with the beast sisters. even tho they call him boss he sees them as close friends, not a romantic partner. not to mention he would never do something that sylphie wouldnt approve of. if syl didnt want him marrying them he just wouldnt and that would be the end.

Yeah, 99 timelines out of 100, he would never go, Sylphy means too much to him to do that. I think the only way this could happen is if Rudy did develop a serious trust with Hitogami enough to actually follow through with his advice

5:40 I guess the part about starting a relationship with Linea or Pursena was just as important for the mangod, since this would really put the nail in the coffin for the Rudeus-Roxy relationship somehow.

Oh yeah very true. It was really hard to even fit her into the equation if Rudeus stayed behind, and that could possibly be the point. I'm sure there's a future where Sylphy sticks around, and Eris is likely to be okay with Linia and Pursena, but there's nowhere for Roxy to really go. Once she sees Rudy with two wives, or even three wives, I doubt she'd have the confidence to try and get a deeper relationship with him. The author has stated that the alternate future that Hitogami tells Rudeus of could have been a lie, but it does make sense when you consider the lack of Roxy from that future.
