The doors of possibility in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been blown bloody well off, thanks to the multiverse. Marvel’s what if made its appearance as the first animated show in the MCU. The series introduces us to eight different Universes in the Marvel Multiverse. Each of these Universes is a little different, leading to a very different timeline. We go through these multiple Universes with the Watcher, who is a Multiversal Marvel character and is one of the most powerful beings in the MCU. The different Universes introduce us to new variants of the superheroes like Strange Supreme, whom we see in Doctor Strange 2. In the series finale, the Watcher finally assembles the Guardians of the Multiverse to fight MCU’s first Multiversal threat.
