If shane left he most likely would’ve ended up a savior or whisperer at some point since he would definitely survive for a long time. If shane had left Carl also wouldn’t have had to shoot his reanimated version attracting the walkers to the farm.
Not to mention that Carl would die from the gunshot. Without Shane killed Otis, there is a big chance that the medical equipment would not be successfully acquired
I think when rick kicked carol out of the prison is when became gangster. She was still timid prior to the prison era remember Tdawg saved her if she was gangster she wouldve saved him
If Shane left then one of the others would of left with Otis, and both Otis would of lived but Carl would still live as he would still get the medicine he needed. As for the barn. As Otis wouldn't of been killed by shan he might of told the others the girl was found.
Well, technically he would still have Judith to look after, or rather Lori for the time being. Plus, Rick isn't the type to off himself either, aside from when he was under the tank, before he found anybody when he went to Atlanta, but that was only because it didn't look like there was a way out. So if Carl did die, he'd be a wreck but he still has others to protect, including an unborn Judith.
Shane would never leave in the TV show because he got with Lori now in the books he did too but it was one time if that didn't happen he wouldn't feel obligated to take care of Laurel and Carl and he would see that he did his job as a good friend and helped out Rick and now he's going to help himself out and leave Coral doesn't die he makes it to the at and eventually they meet Tyrese on the road and they find the prison and then they go back to the camp and get Herschel
If shane doesnt open the barn rick and gleen do not go in to town to save hershel at the same time joe and tonys group are there so randell doesnt get locked up, ricks kiling the living arc is postponed as well
I really don’t think Randal would’ve kill carl even if carl freed him. Like it was stated Randal was a kid and really just wanted to go. And even if carl did Rick still had his wife and soon to be child.
What if Thanos accidentally ended up in the Walking Dead universe during the walking dead’s sixth season? What if Maggie gave birth at the lineup? What if The Governor killed Andrea and Michonne when they first captured them? What if Negan lived at Woodbury with the Governor?
If shane left the group in season 2 then they would end up meeting shane as with governor or negan which I dunno if shane would want to be under someone
If Shane left then Carl would’ve died when he got shot and then Rick wouldn’t have died because he never went with Glenn to go save Hershel which led to encounter with the living
Personally in the apocalypse I don't think Shane is built to follow orders so if he survived and went off on his own and joined any group like the Commonwealth or the saviours odds are he'd eventually try to take power like he attempted to with ricks group but would probably end up being killed in the process still if he doesn't play all his cards correctly
