What If Snake Was an Auto Battler STRATEGY GAME? - SNKRX 

You guys are too used to me understanding games when I start making videos on them. Enjoy the change of pace of me learning things from (nearly) scratch.

The 3x projectiles per second thing has nothing to do with the actual attacks of the snake part in the fifth slot. It's the projectiles constantly being fired from your snake and does the same damage no matter the class.

Just started playing this about a week ago! Rogues are very cool, if you get enough of them and the right items you just delete entire groups of enemies a second after they spawn. Also, getting 2 different mercenaries early can get you a lot of gold you will need for the shop in the later rounds.

I remember back in the day your first poly bridge video and it remains to this day my favourite video on the channel. Watching you learning about the game is definitely a lot of fun, so maybe it’s wishful but if you could do it more for new games that would be amazing.

Love the vid, make more. :) And in case you'd like to know how interest is calculated: For every 5 coins that you have you get +1 interest for completing a level. This caps at 25 coins for +5 interest but can be increased via mercenaries

I actually really like the mentality of "let me try to find out how the game mechanics work on my own." I always enjoy your commentary, so if you were just another channel offering optimal SNKRX gameplay, I'd still watch. But this is even better. For what it's worth, you seem to be understanding lots of core mechanics very quickly.

those numbers mean the damage per level (10%/20%/30%) so for level 1 its 10% and for level 2 its 20% then so on

You were curious what the fifth slot shooting power did. It doesn’t make the actual cell shoot three times per second, it just added an additional projectile attack to that cell that would shoot three times per second.

Interest is extremely simple in how it works. You get one coin extra each round for every 10 coins that you have stored, with a max of 10 coins extra from interest per turn. For example, if you have 100 coins you'll get 10 coins per turn, 50 coins you'll get 5 coins, and 10 coins you'll get 1 coin each turn. Having more coins than 100 won't increase your interest, so if you are going for max interest each turn, you'd want to have a minimum of 100 coins each time the interest is calculated.

Advice warning now. If you want small tips then I'll leave some of the smaller ones in this comment, and if you (For whatever reason, I know you said you wanted the learning experience) want something larger than some general tips then I'll reply to this with those as well. Alright, first: Read wording carefully on the descriptions of items, some neat things can be easily overlooked if you skip past new snake parts. For the most part things with the warrior class are melee. You earn 1 interest per 5 gold you have as a base, up to 5 interest unless you get a snake man that says otherwise. For items you can reroll them if you don't like what you see. That seems like the most surefire general tips that wouldn't be too much to spoil you.

You can upgrade items, left click them. They cost money per tier but can really help you out

Regarding interest, if you click on the question mark button around "Party", you'll open a small guide. In that guide, it tells you that interest is 1 coin for every 5 coins in your bank, capping at 5 interest

I've never played this game before but I think "position 5 shoots 3 times per second" just makes the 5th person shoot the rapid fire that you have, so I'd think it would be more worth to put the merchant at 5 if anything so it actually attacks

Very quick note, just so you know what they are: coins are spawnned by a set bonus and nothing else. The Mercenary set bonus to be more specific, which the banker is.

Be gone Tyler, I will buy the game, play it then come back. I love watching your vids, and often I feel I would love the games but then I think it is a waste because I have already received so much entertainment and knowledge on it that it will make it less fun. However, with the Summer sale I got baba is you in a bundle and I am having a ton of fun and figuring it all out by myself even though I watched your entire series, just because it has been a while. In conclusion, please never stop making awesome content! You make the boring times go by so much more enjoyably!

Here's some advice that I've gained from playing the game before watching the video: pushing the left arrow key on your keyboard will make your snake turn in a counterclockwise pattern. This technique is useful if you want to turn left.

I saw this getting uploaded as of recently by content creators that upload similar things puzzle/deck building games and was very excited as you may be playing it soon and my wished have come true here's to a hopefully long series

Tyler please read the info thing the game gives you, here's a short version (no hints it's literally a button you can press and shows you info), for each 5 gold you get 1 extra interest gold, so if you leave the shop with 10 gold you'll get an extra 2 gold next round, this stacks to 5 extra gold at 25 saved up. There is a way to get a longer snake, you'll just have to play to see when.

This feels like a game I would rather play myself than watch someone play. Which is surprising to me because most of the games I know of, I know from watching playthroughs of them on youtube.

The experimentation part is really frickin' fun in this game! I hope you learn more synergies in the future!

I don't think *auto* battler is a good description of this game. That being said, this has been one of my favorite games for the past couple of weeks (already put in 40 hours), it's awesome seeing my favorite strategy/puzzle streamer playing it too!

Demoncrawl is gonna have an auto battler soon, where the game does the minesweeper and you do the strategy. They will also have a secondary mode where players do the minesweeping AND the strategy. It'll be multiplayer versus.

This really triggers memories about playing collosatron in middle school, unfortunately that game isn't available in the play store anymore

Hey aliensrock you probably wont see this but there is a game on steam for about 15 dollars called noita, Its built around making your wand more powerfull and making different synergies for your wand to make it more powerful. But when you die you restart. The game has some pretty good reviews it even has lore. I feel like it would make a good playthrough/ series depending on how it does.
