"Welcome to episode 8 of project stressa, a timeline which, starts at the point of divergence of Austria being admitted into Germnay in 1919" "The Soviet southern thrust has put pressure on the Saxon allies-" What the hell did I miss?
This series is genuinely well put together and slowing unraveling which is a more unique and cinematic take compare to larger channels who mostly do one senario per video. Fantastic work man, keep it up!
Suggestion: (Northern Europe) Finland should join the Invasion of the USSR and reclaiming the Kola Peninsula and Karelia as part of Greater Finland which was an actual plan executed in WW2 known as the continuation war. And with Finland against the Soviets the other nations in Scandinavia will supply Finland with Equipment to Finland Suggestion pt2: (Middle East) Saudi Arabia disliking and protesting the Sykes-Picot agreement is against European Colonists in the Middle East and joins the Latin-Axis in order to make something like a new Ottoman Empire or Islamic Caliphate.
For suggestion 2 I think it is more likely Saudi Arabia would be couped by Syrian exiles (and Neo Socialist exiles) which promise to unite all of Arabia and rather than joining the Latin Axis ,or whatever the hell is going on with the founding nations of France and Italy to be more specific, they would more closely aligned to America and secretly aligned to the Soviets.
some thougths on the episode, giving quebec labrador would be justified as they never agreed on that border with the brittish, if you want to keep them more loyal, the scandis had a pretty formidibel small ship navy in the baltics for the time plus with their resourses they could very much aid the saxons
"All this and more in episode 9, where the war spreads to Latin America" You really are derermened to make this a *World War* in the most litteral sence of the word aren't you? That being that *the **_whole_** world* will be at war? Inb4 the battle for Antarctica in part 10 xD
I feel like the nations in the latin axis has been overperforming and therefore the saxon allies underperforming thus far. I think that Italy and France would have crumbled or at least have been unable to maintain such a strong military and economical resistance. I would assume that the purges in the soviet union still makes the red army a paper tiger in the early years and the only saving grace of the latin axis being America, which undoubtedly would rapidly put its industry to use, would still need roughly at least half year to fully ramp up its industry and military to wartime standards.
Do remember that Germany in this timeline is a lot weaker as the national socialists never took power and made Germany into a military powerhouse. Also the most important industrial region of the rhine was also taken for the first half of the war, heavily reducing their war effort. I believe in this timeline Germany is far weaker because of those reasons
I think its also kinda of ridiculous how the the Latin Axis is constantly invading random countries for the stupidest reasons. I feel like he is really biased in wanting the allies to win, so he is constantly trying to drag more and more countries into the war to make a victory seem even slightly achievable.
The only problem with this video was Iceland being called a colony while it actually was its own independent Kingdom under a personal union with Denmark
The US is made to strong in this scenario. D-day was hard, crossing a 100km british channel. Landing on the british home islands fighting the Royal, German and Japanese navy would be completely impossible.
what about germany industrial jet and rocket engine tech in our timeline german were master of these tech what about in this timeline and without nazis in control i believe that germany will develop nuclear weapons in 1944
@@thedanishsocialmonarchist7286 America will fall... it may be strong, but not invincible. If the Latin Axis in Europe and Asia falls, then that leaves the Americans alone who will fall to either internal revolts over anti-war sentiments or to an all out invasion from every angle. Or a mix of the 2. I am an American and I am saying this because it is what makes sense in terms of realism.
@@themakebelieverproductions6342 This is true. America didn't even want to enter the war in our timeline. The only reason it did was to combat the anti-democratic fascism (and even then it took Pearl Harbor to do it). In this timeline America is helping fascism and as this video shows as well, the president of this timeline is playing a balancing act between fascism and democracy as he tries to keep America in the war. In all likelyhood America will be crippled by the next election, since if the Republicans win they will undo all the democrats did and if the democrats somehow win they will have to deal with internal unrest and whole lot more crime (as in ghost companies not paying taxes and doing under the table deals to circumvent New Deal).
I would love to see the Saxon Allies win, because Czechoslovakia, my home country shall stay strong and NEVER EVER shall be divided again! Glory to German-British Alliance!
Makes me curious the hyper militarised australia in full militant industrial mode with an eight of its population in the military would go if mid war they lost the authoritative figure of Britain. Leadership in Australia were arguably at their most rebellious at this time in regards to British orders for use of aussie troops. I have to imagine this Australia would have to be in a similar state industry, military, population and ideology wise, so in this scenario an australia detaching from the motherland would have a high chance of its population attempting to begin the establishment of itself as a new motherland for the beginning of new expansions and developments following the Anglo blueprint closer than any other colony would have, adapting aspects to suit its leadership of course.
I don’t think you’re giving the Latin axis enough credit tbh. They would have bigger advances and they wouldn’t be as weak and vulnerable to British and German troops, especially considering how overstretched the British are, how underprepared the Germans are, and how powerful the Soviets are.
This is good feedback. However, I was also considering the weight of their numerous allies in europe, and the amount of democratic resistance there would have been in France. I tried focusing specifically on key events happening in Britain in order to properly convey the story of their collapse, there are things i have planned to ocurr at the same time as these developments that I haven’t written or animated yet that do involve the consequence of having america involved in the war. I hope you stay tuned to see; thanks again for your feedback
