Hello What If. You are making great videos and I like them. I have one question: During autumn and spring, I mean when the Earth is at the middle of summer and winter seasons wouldn't we have normal day and night?
He said that all the ice would melt. but wouldn't the just melt form the pole experiencing summer and form on the poles experiencing winter? in this case, the pole with summer will cause the sea levels to rise, and the pole with winter would lower the sea levels, neutralizing each other, so it won'tbe that dramatic. Also the variation would decrease the nearer the equator gets, at the equator there would be a never-ending sunset .
If the Earth's tilt was 90°, the area between the poles would be like a form of twilight zone. While the poles would be getting scorched and frozen over and over, the twilight zone may have relatively normal temperatures. Areas like North Africa, Central America, & Southeast Asia would be in the twilight zone.
Kris Music my comment somewhere I dont think you got that right. Sideways the equator would be always hot and poles always cold. The ammount of radiation reflected by our atmosphere is responsible for our seaons. Not the distance to the sun. Yes on the outer of the elipse the equator and tropicals would have their winter time, like now.... 5 degree less than usual and stormy/rainy. Its... its just wrong
collision with Theia also gave us the moon, so it would bear more consequences than just not happening. no tides would be a problem afaik ongoing presence of Theia would require a trojan position afaik. you can place 2 objects in same orbit and both remain stable but they have to keep 60 degrees distance, if i remember correctly. such a close Theia would be an obvious object of interest of observation and space travels. as it would stay in the goldilocks zone of sun like us: very interesting if any sort of live would bloom there too, completely separate from us.
It reminds us how we all have won the lottery. We are very lucky creatures. Then to be born in the 20th/early 21st century we’ve won the lottery a second time having all the best accommodations in life.
If mars-sized planet were to collide with earth, there will be nothing but asteroid belt left behind. Earth originally had formed together with Saturn as it closely shares its axial tilt, before Sun captured Saturn with earth and seasons as we know began. Saturn transformed from brown dwarf into gas giant due to mass loss in cometary flaring. Physicist Wal Thornhill talks about it in Star Proto-Saturn video.
Earth’s gravity is still stronger than Mars’s gravity. While Earth would definitely lose some it’s mass, it wouldn’t be enough to completely destroy the Earth.
If the earth is tilted at 90 degrees, the equator would get 3 months of twilight follow by 3 months of regular day/night cycle, follow by another 3 months of twilight and then another 3 months of day/night cycle.

If we were tilted sideways would there still be a narrow strip around the world that would feel either spring or fall like the entire year and look like a sun set or sun rise all year?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). God has already done all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation God offers (Ephesians 2:8-9).✝️🛐🕊
Uhh.. the Sun Is the center of the solar system and emits light from all sides. I don't think that It rotating faster could result in anything too bad. Maybe more solar flares will come out
You should do a "What if all humans all of a sudden vanished from the planet," and talk about what would happen in the days months, years, decades, and centuries afterward.

As long as earth is rotating, it will resist to any significant changes to axial tilt since planets rotate like gyro and will hold on to its axial tilt, unless collision overcomes that resistance or planet stops rotating. See "Gyroscopes in space" video by astronauts at ESA.
moon is currently tidal locked; with any change in speed it would show us whole moon surface over time for a given location on earth. but if Earth gets lazy and spins once every month only like moon does ? woah, this is a game changer. :) great story for another "What If" for sure

@@dimensio_italian_magician so sad the people who don't know anything apart from few facts clear cut in environment thinks holy book to be dumb when they believe that a tornado striked and life came into existence. 😂
@@rationalmind3785 "tornado created life" Tf? No one ever said anything about a tornado creating life. Maybe you should actually know about things instead of inventing stuff.
"jesus saved us" From what? How does staying in a desert for "30 years" and make people kill you in this "cross" save us? Explain how. And explain what he saved us from.
not going to happen, because gas giant :) but Titan or Enceladus ? afaik those are interesting locations with possible life on a low level of complexity the outlook on Saturn would be marvelous of course; the ring system is just woah :D
At 8 minutes and 48 Seconds on this video you see an image of PRECIADOS STREET in Madrid (Spain-Europe), a very Commercial Street with several Big Stores like FNAC, EL CORTE INGLÉS, SFERA....at the end of the image there is CALLAO SQUARE and GRAN VÍA STREET. I know this area very well since I have lived in Madrid pretty much all of my life.
Ok so I have a question haha How do we know what happened 4 billion years ago? We don’t! And none of us do! So all this that the scientists or astronomers say…. They don’t even know.
you know scientists are smarter and know more then a lot of humanity they probably know much more then you do their are Bones, proof and a ton more just because you don’t know about something doesent mean other people know
Educated guesses. Just like believing someone that wrote that God created the earth, there is no way of knowing exactly what happened, we have to choose what makes more sense to us.
Check out replies from 1 of the wholesome COMMENTS, Ok.. 😀In Earth's early days, it was slammed by protoplanet Theia. This left our world spinning on a tilted axis. But what if the Theia crash had flipped Earth 90 degrees? And why could living in Alaska help you live on a sideways Earth? Lol. Wondrium!
it is impossible for any celestial body of such mass to remain flat. it tends to crumble into a ball by itself, the equatorial bulge is due to rotation.
If the Earth were spinning on its side, it would have a significant impact on the planet's climate and weather patterns. The tilt of the Earth's axis is what causes the seasons, with the northern and southern hemispheres experiencing opposite seasons at any given time. If the Earth were spinning on its side, the tilt would be different, which would change the way the sun's energy is distributed around the planet. The change in the tilt of the Earth's axis would also affect the distribution of the sun's energy across the planet, which would change the climate and weather patterns. This could result in some areas experiencing extreme temperatures and weather conditions, while other areas may become much colder or drier. The change in the tilt of the Earth's axis would also have a significant impact on the planet's ecosystems and the distribution of plant and animal life. It could cause significant changes in the habitats of many species, leading to extinctions, and altering the balance of nature. It's important to note that the Earth's current axial tilt is a result of a complex interplay of factors, including the planet's orbit, rotation, and the gravitational pull of the Moon and other celestial bodies. Changing the tilt of the Earth's axis would require a massive amount of energy and it's highly unlikely that it would happen naturally.
Is anyone else taking into account of the angle earths spinning currently ...this is happening ... Antarctica is melting fl will be under water in couple year's this is happening faster then expected ... The season's are off ... By july i saw leaves changing colors i live in NJ so im northern....its happening i see it ... States never getting cold air are even snow now ... There alarming... Im sure they know whats coming and not addressing the public like we cant see is so sad
Very inaccurate depiction, first off the poles wouldnt experience constant summer or winter for 6 months. By the time Earth is 90 degrees in orbit of the sun, the equator would then be facing the sun. The equator would experience a regular day and night cycle during this time of the year. A more interesting what if scenario I think is if earth is tilted 90 degrees and tidally locked to the sun. Atleast this makes for a more habitable environment
You mentioned 100 degrees is huge. Dude mention F or C. World is divided. If it is 100F there are people in multiple parts of world who live and work in extreme temperatures. Let me know if you don't agree.
How about this one: WHAT IF: Earth rotated normally on its current axis, BUT it also rotated on a West/East axis ? Would would that look like, and do ? Would it balance our weather for the whole planet because the earth is constantly "mixing things up" - and distributing the sun's energy - constantly ? Can you do a video on this scenario ?
Wouldn’t they just build structures to protect the fields from the scorching Sun during the colder months? Even placing cities in a shield or bubble type of contraption to house the cities so them temperature could be regulated within?
It has been explained on Al Qur'an Islam holllybooks that In the end of the day the sun will rise on the west, it's mean the earth spinning in another side.
