Imagine Earth covered in thick sheets of ice. And sea levels so low you could walk to a different continent. This is what our planet would look like during an ice age. There have been five of them in Earth’s history and they have had a huge impact on our present world. Now, try and imagine an Earth where these ice ages never existed in the first place. What ecosystems would change? Would humans have evolved? Why do ice ages happen? What are Milankovitch cycles? Would there be climate change? How different would the season cycles be?

They didn't even say anything about: MICHIGAN! The Great Lakes were all formed by glaciers from one of the ice ages. As the ice came down from Canada, it cut holes in the ground and cut the state into the shape of a glove. When the ice age was over, the ice melted and filled the holes up with water. Lakes formed like this are called: "Kettle Lakes".

What if Pangae never broke apart to form separate continents. The Ice Ages allowed us to cross between the continents and made us adjust to the different areas of the planet. But that’s for another “What If”.
